Chapter 16: They're Back!
Time skip three years: The summon realm…
Deep in the summon realm a loud screech echoes through the air and rattles the ground.
In the air around the mountain a large black and red dragon with claws and horns flew around the mountain before landing on the gorund near a cave.
"Naruto!" the dragon roared.
Out of the caves stepped Naruto only eh was much different then before.
Over the past three years Naruto had grown taller and more muscular. He didn't have a body builder's physique, but he more of an athletic build.
Naruto's hair had grown slightly more spiky and the silver highlights became more defined.
His clothes had changed as well. The boy now wore a red and gold trench coat over a black shirt and long cargo pants. The trench coats were sleeveless revealing his toned arms and his dragon and fox tattoos. On the back of the trench coat were two kanji symbols. One was for Dragon Master. The other was for Fox Sage.
Over the years of training Naruto had learned multiple jutsu from all the dragons and he learned how to access sage mode. Though he had to be careful because using too much of it at once could burn him.
While training with the foxes Naruto learned a great deal of powerful genjutsu as well as how to harness hellfire. Naruto's fox sage mode worked like the dragon sage mode. Only instead of it burning him alive…too much of it could make him explode.
"What's up Inferuno? (Inferno)" Naruto aske.d
"Your time training with our clan has come to an end," the dragon said, "We have also kept an eye on the other villages through the lizard clan like your asked."
Naruto nodded and said, "What happened?"
The dragon answered, "Not much. Danzo has gone into hiding. When you left those two fossils from the old council tried to forge documents that would have labeled you and that Sakura girl as missing nin. They were caught and then killed by the Fire Daimyo himself."
Naruto looked surprised and said, "The fire daimyo actually got his hands dirty?"
The dragon chuckled, "Turns out he was once a ninja in Konoha before he left to take his father's place when he died. You should have seen the looks on everyone's faces when the man pulled out a A-rank Fire jutsu on those two. It was awesome."
The dragon chuckled before getting back on track.
"That Danzo man has been in hiding since the death of those two elders. It also seems that the Hyuuga clan has had some trouble."
Danny gulped wondering if this had something to do with Hinata-chan.
"Apparently the clan council is trying to marry of Hinata to the son of some Daimyo in Kumo. This would be all and good except we looked into it and he's known for being a woman beater."
Naruto snarled and his slit eyes flashed gold before turning red.
"It also appears that your training might have gone on for too long. The Akatsuki organization, the one after the biju, has already succeeded in capturing the Ichibi from Suna. Fortunately a team of ninja from Suna and Konoha managed to save their Kazekage, the boy known as Gaara. In the process two of the Akatsuki were killed, but a Suna elder was lost as well."
Naruto was surprised when he heard that Gaara was the Kazekage. He was upset when he heard of the death of the elder, but was glad when heard that two of the Akatsuki members were dead.
"So are you going to be sending me to Konoha?" Naruto asked.
"No," Inferuno said, "One of my spies found out that a team with your Hinata has been sent to help out a Jinchuuriki by the name of Fu from being killed by the Akatsuki. Sakura will be joining you."
Naruto nodded and said, "Send me out big man!"
Inferuno took a deep breath and launched a jet stream of fire from his mouth. When the flames cleared it showed Naruto was gone. No ashes, no soot, no nothing.
In the human realm…
All was quiet in the forest near Takigakure all was quiet.
The calm was interrupted by two strange events. A large blast of dark red flames and a huge gust of wind.
When the flames cleared it showed Naruto standing proud as ever.
When the winds died down it showed a new and improved Sakura. The girl had grown slightly taller and had filled out a bit. She now wore a black and brown leather jacket with gloves that had the kanji for the hive elements on them and studs on the knuckles. Under the jacket she wore a bright red shirt along with some biker shorts, and boots.
"Hey Naruto," she asked, "How did your training go?"Naruto smiled and said, "Pretty good. Now enough talking. We have some missing nin to squash a team and a Jinchuuriki to save!"
With that the two set out a chakra wave and sensed two very high chakra levels while others seemed lower and another one was fading away incredibly fast.
The two looked at each other before shooting off like bullets.
Meanwhile…
This was supposed to be an easy mission. Protect a girl in another village. That shouldn't be too hard right? Wrong!
That was the thoughts going through the members of team 10. At least the remaining members of team 10.
Over the years the group had changed.
All of them had grown a bit taller.
Chouji's clothes had changed to where h let his hair grow out a bit and he wore red armor similar to that of a samurai.
Ino now wore a violet top and skirt with bandages around her arms and legs.
Shikamaru simply had a chuunin vest as hi change in wardrobe. Probably because he was too lazy to try and change clothes.
Nearby was the fallen body of their sensei Asuma Sarutobi. The body having a large stab wound in the chest and had a large burn covering his body.
Nearby was a woman wearing a Taki headband with tan skin, green hair, and orange eyes.
This was Fu the girl they were supposed to be protecting.
In front of them stood two men.
The first was a man with silver hair, pale skin, purple eyes, and a large three bladed scythe.
The scond had dark skin, green eyes, and wore a mask that covered the lower half of his face. If you could see his arms you would see stitches covering them to where they looked like they belonged on a rag doll.
While they were both different what was similar was that they wore black cloaks with red clouds on them. The symbol of the Akatsuki.
"One down," the silver haired man said, "Three more little brats to go!"
The masked man said, "Shut it Hidan. We have to take this seriously. Besides if we fail leader-sama is going to kill us."
The now identified Hidan scowled and face the group when suddenly a humming tune reached their ears and a voice started to sing.

Every was looking around trying to identify the singer.
"Who would be singing at a time like this?" Ino asked as a shocked look came over her face.
Going to deliver Brink's Sake
Following the Sea Breeze, Riding on the waves.
Far across the salty deeps, the merry evening sun
Painting circles in the sky as the birds sing
"Show yourself!" Hidan roared obviously angry.

The voice became silent and familiar voice yelled, "What's up everybody?"
Everyone spun around to see a familiar head of blonde hair and a familiar red head.
"Naruto! Sakura!" Ino yelled with a surprised and happy look on her face.
Shalimar smiled and said, "Troublesome."
Chouji smirked and said, "We were wondering when you guys would come back!"
The pair jumped down and landed between the two groups.
Naruto looked down at the dead Asuma and nudged Sakura. The red head noticed the body and turned toward the two Akatsuki members.
"Which one of you did this?" Naruto asked in a grave voice.
"That would be me," Hidan said smugly, "What are you going to do about it pal?"
Naruto held out his hand and Dragon Claw appeared in his hand.
Then, to the shock of everyone, the boy turned around and put his back to the silver haired psychopath.
"Is this some kind of joke?" Hidan mocked, "If it is I certainly find it funny!"
Naruto simply ran his hand down the long edge of the blade and stopped an inch before the hilt.
"Humming Ten Feet…Arrow Notch Strike!"
As Naruto pressed his fingers against the hilt of his sword a huge slash mark appeared right where Hidan was. The man screamed in pain as the slash followed bya blaze of golden flames burned his skin.
Everyone stared on in shock at what they saw.
"What the heck was that?" Fu asked with a shocked look on her face.
Hidan fell to the ground clutching his wound. At that moment the jashin priest noticed something.
"Kakuzu!" the man yelled, "My wound! Its not healing!"
Sure enough the immortal man's wound wasn't healing itself like the wounds he had gotten normally would.
"The flames of the dragon king himself," Naruto said solemnly, "against the pure of heart it does nothing. Against the flesh of a man so tainted and evil such as yourself it will burn hotter than the flames of Ameratsu."
Kakuzu was about to step in when he felt an incredible pain in his stomach. The man doubled over and looked down to see Sakura standing in front of him with her fist imbedded into his stomach.
The man was then sent flying backwards and crashed into a tree. The man crashed through the tree and through two more before hitting the ground with a shotu of pain. The man then curled into a ball and clutched his stomach and yelled out in absolute agony.
"Whoa!" Ino yelled, "And I thought that forehead was strong before! Now she's like a red haired version of Tsunade."
Every male present winced at the thought of there being a second Tsunade.
Kakuzu rose up from the ground and snarled, "You are dead you little witch!"
Black threads flowed from the stitch marks on his arms and some on his chest. He threw out his arms and a mass of threads formed with three masks on them.
"Fire/wind/lightning Fusion: Great Fire Storm Blast!"
A dull glow came over Sakura huge blast of flames with a small bolt of lighting in the center shot at her.
Sakura then spun around on her heel. To the shock of everyone a huge gust of chakra and wind flowed around her. The flames were dispersed and died, the wind was caught in a cyclone and became a vacuum that destroyed the lighting as well.
Sakura then stopped spinning. She faced her opponent and was sure that she saw his jaw hitting the floor.
"Not bad," the red head said with a smirk, "Now let me show you a real fusion technique!"
A glow of light blue and very light green came over Sakura.
"Water/Acid Fusion: Great Dissolving flood!"
A flood of light green water shot out of Sakura's mouth with incredible force behind it. The attack was sent flying at Kakuzu. The man vanished and appeared a few feet away.
The man was about to gloat when the attack turned in mid air and crashed into him. The acidic substance burned through him and slowly dissolved away his flesh. With a scream of agony the man died.
Hidan was shocked that his partner had been dispatched easily.
He then found himself stabbed in the shoulder by Dragon Claw. He screamed in pain as the heated blade tore through his flesh. The screams got even louder when the blade tore off his arm and he was the victim of a very powerful punch to the face.
Hidan glared angrily at the man in front of him. Naruto smirked and said, "Bye Bye you freak show priest."
Naruto then jumped in the air and went through hand signs.
"Fox Release: Hellfire Barrage!"
Naruto took a deep breath and fired a huge volley of pure white flames that descended down on the downed Hidan before impacting and letting out huge explosions. The flames picked up immediately and quickly burned all of Hidan, bones and everything, to complete and total ash.
Naruto then turned to his friends who all had shocked expression except Sakura who had a feeling he would be strong.
Naruto then looked behind them and asked, "Where's the green haired girl?"
The remaining members of team 10 groaned when they noticed Fu was gone.
After returning to Takigakure the kage there was furious at them. Naruto then got on his case about the Jinchuuriki thing when the man clarified that he wasn't upset about the jinchuuriki being gone. He was upset because he the girl was a relative of his. Naruto swiftly apologized for the misunderstanding. When he mentioned the death of Kakuzu he was forgiven and thanked. He then received a bounty for the two nuke nin.
After they got the bounty they spent some of it for a grave marker and a coffin for Asuma. The man was buried outside in the forest where he had died fighting. Sakura cast a special preservation jutsu on the grave marker so that time would not ravage it. Naruto also used his Kitsune Eye to cast a genjutsu over it to hide it so that grave robbers wouldn't find it and so vandals wouldn't ruin it.
During the travel back to Konoha Naruto and Sakura filled the group in on the training he had. Naruto had been learning multiple sword styles from both the fox and dragon clans.
Sakura had been learning mostly different taijutsu.
The remaining members of team 10 filled them in on the last few years. All of the remaining Konoha ninja had been promoted to Chuunin or higher. Lee had actually opened up a dojo to teach the new academy students. Naruto was surprised when he learned that Asuma and Kurenai had been married. He knew that somebody was going to have to break it to the woman. They also filled in Naruto on the whole Hinata thing.
Naruto nodded and only half heartedly listened since he already knew about that.
Eventually they arrived at Konoha.
"Halt!" Izumo said, "Who are you and…Naruto?"
Kotetsu smiled beside his friend and said, "Hey little buddy you're back! Good to see you too Sakura."
Shikimaru stepped up and said, "Team 10 with additions of Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze and Sakura Haruno returning from mission to Taki."
Izumo smiled at the group and noticed that Asuma wasn't there.
"Where's Asuma?" the man asked.
The sad faces were the answer he got.
"I'll have to tell Kurenai," Kotetsu said, "Okay you may report to the Hokage immediately. Those two have been antsy lately. Probably because they knew their boy was coming back."
With that the group made their way into the village. Throughout their walk people pointed and whispered among the group.
"Is that Sakura?" a random civilian male asked.
"Yeah," another answered, "Check out that rack! Oh man I can't wait to see her when she's full grown."
The man was subjected to an extreme killing intent.
"Ooh," a civilian female said, "Namikaze-sama looks so good!"
Another female giggled and said, "I wonder if he'll let me help him tame his demon."
A few more giggles followed.
In two separate placed two things happened.
In the Hokage tower Kushina's head snapped up and her motherly protective instincts caused a wave of killing intent to fly through the tower knocking a lot of people out. This was unfortunate for a certain closet pervert, Ebisu, because he was walking down the stairs when it happened.
In another place Hinata felt the sudden urge to leave and then go on a killing spree.
As Naruto and his group neared the tower Naruto stpped on a discarded newspaper. As the blonde looked down the headline made both his blood run cold and then made it boil with the heat of a volcano.
Hinata Hyuuga To Marry The Eldest Son of the Daimyo.
The headline itself wasn't what pissed him off. What pissed him off was the date. The date of the wedding was today.
As soon as Naruto heard wedding bells he shot of like a rocket.
"Naruto!" the girl yelled, "Where are you going!"
That was when the girl noticed the paper and the date.
"Oh boy," was all the girl could say.
Meanwhile…
Hinata looked in disgust at the man across from her.
The Hyuuga council had gone behind Hiashi's back and had sped u the date of the wedding. Now Hinata stood in front of Ichigo: the son of the daimyo and the sleaze bag that the woman was being forced to marry.
The boy was about as tall as she was and was looking at her while he stripped her with his eyes. It took all of Hinata's will not to punch the boy's lights out. The only reason was because the boy had samurai guards nearby and his father, the daimyo himself was in attendance.
In all honest the Daimyo didn't want this either. He didn't like the fact that his eldest had become a spoiled brat with an ego big enough to choke an elephant. He thought everyone was beneath him and because of that the man had written of his second oldest as heir to his place as daimyo.
Hinata's great aunt stood in front and said, "Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to unite the family of the Daimyo and the Hyuuga clan. Is there anyone who would speak against this union? Speak now or forever hold your peace."
No one objected.
Then the doors to the cathedral came crashing in from the outside. The doors crashing to the ground.
Everyone gasped at display while the daimyo didn't seemed shocked. He did, however, seem interested.
When the smoke cleared it showed Naruto standing in the doorway with gold flames crackling on his left hand while red flames crackled on his right.
"I got your objection right here!" Naruto growled as his knuckled cracked.
Cut! You didn't think that the Hyuuga council wouldn't try something stupid did you? So Naruto has crashed the wedding and expect this sleazebag to go through a wall. Okay see you all next time. Bring smiles!
