Chapter 17: Crashing a wedding, a test, another wedding, and a crazy plan.
No one dared to move as Naruto glared angrily from the doors of the church. The daimyo's son glared furiously at Naruto who dared to interrupt his wedding. Hinata was staring happily at Naruto and was currently doing his best not to run forward and jump into Naruto's arms and hug him to her chest until he passed out from lack of air.
The girl blushed slightly at her own thoughts.
"How dare you! You ignorant whelp!" Ichigo yelled angrily, "Do you know who you speak to? I am Ichigo son of the Daimyo and heir to the throne of fire country. Now do yourself a favor and leave so I can get on to my honeymoon."
Hinata's face was screaming in disgust at the man before her. Hinata then dropped the bouquet she was holding before slamming her fist into Ichigo's stomach making him double over. She the scoffed as she turned up her nose to the boy before running over to Naruto and embracing him tightly.
Naruto held the woman and smiled happily as the flames on his hands extinguished.
He looked at the members of the Hyuuga council and growled, "You have some nerve going behind the clan head's back for this."
The daimyo turned his head towards the Hyuuga council with a dark scowl on his face. If there was one thing the old former Shin obi hated it was a traitor. Especially when they were just trying to gain more power.
Hinata's great aunt scoffed and said, "This weak little cur was going to have to become useful to the clan one way or another. Besides the clan cannot be associated with her tainted eyes."
Naruto scowled and said, "She was to be engaged to me long before you old warts set this whole thing up. You just didn't' want to lose something that could make the clan stronger because you're all strung up by your clan's old ways."
The daimyo's face was now showing looks of disgust and fury.
Ichigo rose up from the ground and spat out some blood before growling, "I don't' care who you think you are brat. Hand over my wife now or I'll show you what I'm really capable of."
Naruto rolled his eyes and said, "Just because your daddy is here and the daimio doesn't mean that I'm afraid. No offense to you daimyo-sama. I'm not afraid of some kid who had been hidings behind his dad all of his life."
The daimyo nodded and said, "No offense meant…Mr.?"
Naruto looked at the man and said, "Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. At your service daimyo-sama."
Ichigo didn't really take his studies seriously when he lived in the daimyo's palace. As a result he didn't know the pull Naruto's names gave him, or the amount of value that they had from the third shinobi war.
"I don't care who you are that Hyuuga is mine!" Ichigo yelled as he pulled a dagger from his sleeve and charged at Naruto intent on gutting him for this outrage.
Naruto simply drew back his right arm while gold flames covered it.
Naruto unleashed a right hook and yelled, "Dragon Crasher!"
Naruto slammed his gold flame covered fist into Ichigo's stomach making him cough up some blood. Ichigo was then sent flying when Naruto put some extra force when he sent some extra chakra into his arm. Ichigo was sent flying through the air, crashed through the roof of the church, and flew through the air.
A lot of the children in the village looked up to see a very large bird that made a noise that sounded like it was in agony.
Back in the church Naruto glared at the council. Each member looked about ready to fight to the death.
"I don't care if you stand in our way," one of the older members said, "You will not stand in the way now."
The daimyo rose from his seat and said, "Actually seeing as young Hinata was actually engaged to Naruto beforehand and you went behind you clan head's back…the marriage contract between my family an d your clan is now null and void."
The Hyuuga council looked shocked at the man.
"But," another Hyuuga council member said, "You your son will need an heir when he inherits the throne won't he?"
The daimyo glared at the council member and said, "That boy is an arrogant, prideful fool who would drive this country into the ground within the first year of being daimyo. I'm nominating my second born to rule in my place when his time comes.
The Hyuuga council looked shocked at this development. Even if they did marry Hinata to the boy it wouldn't have meant anything.
"Now then," Naruto growled, "I believe that I should probably teach you a lesson on what happens to traitors in this village. Would all impressionable children and their parents please leave?"
The younger Hyuuga members left with their parents in tow. Hinata left at Naruto's urging. When asked why he told her that he didn't want his future bride's wedding dress to get spattered with blood.
A few minutes after everyone left the door closed, the doors lock, and the sound of impacts, breaking bones, and screams of pain and suffering rang through the air from the church and made a lot of people wonder if someone was being brutally sacrificed in there.
A few minute later Sakura arrived just in time for Naruto to walk out of the church looking like a great burden had just been lifted off the boy's shoulders.
"Now then," Naruto said, "as much as I hate to cut our reunion short Hinata-chan I have to go meet dad at the office. See you later right?"
Hinata's response was to kiss Naruto right then and there. The older women of the village cooed at eh sight of the romance while younger kids cried out in disgust. The fan girls cried out in terror and had large tears of absolute sorrow running down their faces.
Naruto reluctantly pulled away from the girl and left.
Team 10 with Naruto and Sakura in tow left for the Hokage's office leaving a few unhappy Hyuuga clan members to have to clean up the mess left from the beating inside the church.
Meanwhile…
Ichigo screamed as he finally came down. He hit the ground with loud crash. The concrete cracked as he groaned in pain. The man rose up from the ground and groaned in pain. As the arrogant and spoiled boy was about to go off on a rant he was aware of a lot of killing intent aimed right at him. He slowly turned around to see that he had landed in the female side of the hot springs. To make matters worse it was a day off for a few of the ANBU squads, and they always had weapons on them one way or another.
"Uh.." Ichigo started, "I can explain."
That was when a random woman in the spring yelled, "Get him!"
Ichigo's screams of agony were heard throughout the entire country and a few miles into the surrounding countries.
In the Hokage's office…
"Sochi!"
Naruto was prominently glomped by his mother as soon as she saw him walk into her husband's office. She then started covering his face with kisses. Naruto's face turned dark red in embarrassment while Sakura simply giggled at the sight of Naruto being embarrassed by his mother.
Minato chuckled to himself as he saw his wife practically shower Naruto with the motherly affection that she hadn't had a chance to give him over the past three years.
"Honey," Minato said, "I don't think Naruto can breathe."
Kushina looked down to see Naruto who now had lipstick marks all over his face and was starting to turn blue.
"Sorry," Kushina said, "I just couldn't help. I'm just really glad to have my little maelstrom back."
Naruto growled in embarrassment again and yelled, "Mom!"
Minato cleared his throat gaining the attention of the two teenagers and his wife.
"I'm glad to see you guys have come back from your training trip," Minato said, "Now tell me…what exactly did you all learn?"
Naruto chuckled and said, "I don't think you'd believe us if we told you pops. Why don't I and Sakura show you?"
Minato raised an eyebrow and asked, "What do you mean?"
Naruto grinned and said, "You can have us fight Tsunade and Jiraiya. Since those two are about kage level in strength. Wait…is Tsunade still in fighting condition?"
Kushina nodded and said, "Yeah. All the chakra use she does in the medical field here has helped her keep in shape. Though she still had that genjutsu around her so that she can still look young."
Naruto nodded and said, "Tell them both to go to the arena to test me and Sakura on whether or not we should receive sannin rank."
Minato chuckled and said, "You always have to earn the right to something don't you?"
Naruto chuckled himself and said, "What can I say? I'm your son."
Naruto shook his head and said, "I heard that little man."
Naruto said, "Now if you'll excuse me…I have a date with Ichiruka ramen!"
Naruto then vanished in a bright red flash shocking everyone in the room.
"Was that?" Minato asked as he finally found his voice.
Everyone nodded.
The next day…
The entire village had gone to the Konoha arena to see the fight. It had been via TV commercial that there would be a grand fight between the two remaining sannin in the village and two new ones who were taking Tsunade and Orochimaru's places.
When they arrived they found Tsunade, Jiraiya, Naruto, and Sakura standing in the middle of the arena waiting for orders.
"People of Konoha," Minato said, "As you all know the team of sannin for the village is incomplete. Orochimru is dead, and Tsunade has retied into the medical field. Today my son Naruto and his friend Sakura, having returned from their training trip, will fight Jiraiya and Tsunade to prove they are worthy of the rank Sannin."
The people muttered amongst themselves and a few started making bets.
When the murmurs died down Minato said, "The first fight will be Tsunade Senju and Sakura Haruno."
Jiraiya and Naruto got out of the arena as the two female fighters stood at the ready to fight each other.
"I won't go easy on you," Tsunade said with a smirk.
Sakura said, "I won't either."
Minato looked down from his booth and said, "Ready? Fight!"
Tsunade made the first move as she launched herself forward and threw out a super powered fist. Sakura caught the attack shocking Tsunade. The red haired girl then swung the slug user over her shoulder before throwing out a kick that crashed into Tsunade's stomach making the woman cry out in pain.
Tsunade dug her heels into the ground and snarled. She charged at Sakura with chakra scalpels activated on her hands. To her surprise Sakura did the same thing. Sakura then locked scalpels with Tsunade and the two women stood a temporary standoff.
Sakura then pushed Tsunade away from her before unleashing a chop with both her arms. Tsunade was right to dodge the attack as now a large gash had formed on the ground where the former slug sage had been standing.
"What was that?" Tsunade asked in shock.
Sakura grinned and said, "That was a combination of a chakra scalpel and your super strength. It enhances the blade's strength to where it is able to cut through a lot more than just tendons and muscle fibers. Now show me what you got grandma!"
Sakura unleashed a flurry of her enhanced chakra scalpels putting Tsunade on the defensive. She was right to be as even when Sakura missed once she found that she had a very deep cut on her shoulder. Apparently the enhanced chakra scalpel had come with a much larger blade.
Eventually Tsunade managed to knock Sakura's hands away and grabbed her by the wrists. A simply pull caused Sakura to stumble and fall. While she did catch herself Tsunade rose up her foot and called out a technique.
"Heavenly Foot of Pain!"
Sakura rolled over to avoid the ax kick aimed at her back. The impact formed a large crater around Tsunade's foot. Sakura jumped to her feet and a glow came over her again.
"Ninja Art: Hawk Feather Rain!"
Chakra flowed out of the girl and took the form of medium sized feathers. Sakura then clapped her hands together sending them at the former slug sannin. Tsunade managed to dodge some of the, but a few managed to pierce one of her arms.
Sakura then put her hands up in a hand sign that usually ended most lightning jutsu.
"Feathers of the Thunderbird."
Tsunade then cried out as a few volts of electricity jolted her body and sent her into a spasm attack. The girl then started to stumble before she managed to catch herself. When she finally had her head clear enough Sakura appeared in front of her and unleashed a furious barrage of punches. Tsunade stumbled a bit and finally hit the wall with a loud crash.
There was a sudden quiet as everyone saw what happened.
The silence was broken when Tsunade fell out of the crater and hit the ground with a thud.
After seeing that the woman was out for the count Minato stood up and announced "The winner and receiver of the title of Sannin: Sakura Haruno!"
Everyone cheered at the victor. Sakura grinned before she gave a little curtsey to the crowd and walked towards the box where Jiraiya and Naruto were standing.
Naruto and Jiraiya jumped down to the arena and looked at one another.
"The next match," Minato announced, "will be between Jiraiya and Naruto Namikaze."
The pair jumped down and faced each other. They didn't spare any words as they immediatley got into battle stances.
"Ready? Fight!"
Naruto started this one by launching himself forward with incredible speed and attempted to knock Jiraiya's block off. The toad sage dodged to the side to avoid getting crashed in the face. The man then had to dodge a knee strike aimed for his moving head. He was then struck in the head by a flying roundhouse kick to the head that knocked him off his feet.
Jiraiya caught himself before going through hand signs.
"Fire Style: Big Flame Bullet!"
Jiraiya expelled a large blast of flames from his mouth. Naruto simply went through hand signs himself and called out, "Wind Style: Flame Disperse technique!"
Naruto clapped his hands together and the wind followed his movements. The wind around him spread outward and the flames from Jiraiya's jutsu spread around him harmlessly.
Naruto then went through hand signs again and yelled, "Dragon Release: Star Blaze Blast!"
Chakra focused in Naruto's mouth and a blast of pure white energy fired from Naruto's mouth. Jiraiya jumped to the side just as the blast soared past his shoulder. The attack hit the wall and exploded with tremendous force.
"Whoa," Jiraiya said, "What a technique."
Naruto chuckled and said, "There are more to dragons than just fire. Let me show you something else I learned from them. Dragon Release: Stone Dragon Squadron!"
Without performing hand signs Naruto slammed his fists onto the ground. When he did the ground formed three medium sized western dragons that glared at the toad sage.
"Take him down!" Naruto yelled.
The stone dragons shot at Jiraiya. The toad sage quickly summoned a few of the smaller toads and had the amphibians grapple with the stone dragons. Jiraiya charged at Naruto who threw up a sudden kick to stop the man. Jiraiya caught the attack before a second kick came up and slammed his chin up. Jiraiya landed on the ground and rubbed his chin. The next thing Jiraiya knew Naruto was unleashing a swarm of punches that knocked the man backwards and slammed him into the opposite wall of the arena.
Naruto backed up just in time for the man to turn into a pile of mud.
Naruto glanced around to find his enemy. A few seconds later Jiraiya burst from the ground with a Rasengan forming in one hand.
Jiraiya shot himself at Naruto intent on grinding the deadly sphere of chakra into Naruto's stomach.
Thinking on his feet Naruto went through hand signs and yelled, "Fox Release: Stone Fox Entrapment!"
Five stone foxes burst from the ground. Two smaller ones jumped up out and sank their fangs into his legs. Two slightly larger ones rose up and sank their teeth into his arms. One bit the wrist of the hand holding the rasengan causing Jiraiya to lose control of the technique. The final fox sand its fangs into Jiraiya's shoulder and then sank its claws into his upper arms. Then it used its weight to hold him in place.
Naruto grinned at the man and said, "Nice try grandpa. Now let me show you what I got."
Naruto held out his hand and slowly chakra started to focus. To the shock of Jiraiya silver and gold chakra started to form on his hand. Slowly the ball started to radiate blue like a normal Rasengan, but a silver spiral appeared on it. Then in the middle a gold dragon's eyes opened up.
(A crescent moon appeared during the crescent moon kingdom movie when Naruto used the rasengan so I figured why not)
Jiraiya's eyes were wide as he saw the technique before him.
'My Kami,' Jiraiya thought, 'He actually completed it.'
From his seat in the kage booth Minato had a look of surprise and utter pride on his face as he saw his son finish the technique he had made all those years ago. Kushina was smiling proudly at her baby boy.
Naruto drew back the technique and roared, "Dragon Roar Rasengan!"
Naruto shot forward and drew back the silver and gold Rasengan before sending it forward. To the shock of everyone the technique missed Jiraiya's midsection. The chakra ball then shot a blast of pure silver and gold chakra. What sounded like a roar filled Jiraiya's ears. The attack hit the opposite wall and broke through.
When the energy faded Naruto withdrew his arm, the stone foxes crumbled into pebbles, the toads returned to the summon realm.
Everyone was expecting something good when Jiraiya suddenly fell over.
"Uh…I guess the winner is Naruto," Minato announced slightly confused.
Naruto looked worriedly at his godfather who was then taken away by the medics.
As they put the man on a stretcher Naruto approached the man and whispered, "I'd check for some really bad burns on his side."
The medic nodded and took the man away.
Time skip: three weeks…
It took a few weeks for Jiraiya to heal after the attack from Naruto. It was revealed from the medical report that along Jiraiya's side and under arm were second to third degree burns. With a little not so tender TLC from Tsunade and a lot of burn cream he managed to get out of the hospital. When Jiraiya learned he just got hit by the side of the attack he knew that if he got the full brunt of the attack he would be a pile of ash and bones right now. He would have been out sooner, but Tsunade gave him a few extra injuries when the self proclaimed super pervert tried to grope her through her nurse outfit.
While Jiraiya was in the hospital Naruto was spending time with his new fiancé. He was learning as much as he could about what had happened over the past three years. Naruto learned that the Konohamaru Corps had graduated the academy and were under the command of Ebisu. The man actually got over his closet pervert idea when he tried to come out of the closet and wound up the victim of a brutal beating. Meanwhile all the genin of the Konoha 12 had been promoted to Chuunin or Jonin. Neji was now in charge of a team that had his little cousin Hanabi on it.
Naruto also talked to Hiashi and had the Hyuuga council officially disbanded. When they got out of the hospital they were going to be in a big surprise. The marriage contract was still active with the daimyo however. This was solved when the daimyo came over to the Hyuuga household to have a talk with Hiashi. That was when Hanabi met Zaraki the daimyo's younger son. Sparks almost instantly flew between the pair and a marriage contract was set up between them. They wouldn't know about it until they turned sixteen however.
With that taken care of Naruto gave Hinata a ring to symbolize that she was his. It was a silver ring with a large sapphire in it that glowed brightly when in the sunlight and the moonlight. Hinata wanted to save it for their wedding day, so she put it in a special box in her room.
A few of Naruto's fan girls banded together in an attempt to kill Hinata and make it look like a suicide. That would have succeeded if Hinata had not seen them coming with her enhanced Byakugan. They also lost heart when Naruto summoned one really big dragon and threatened to serve them to him as an appetizer.
At the time Naruto stood in front of his father and mother in the Hokage's office. Both of them were looking at him like their child had finally gone off the deep end.
"That is by far the most insane and totally reckless idea I have ever heard," Minato said with a shocked face.
Naruto answered, "It's better than just standing around waiting for something bad to happen with those S-rank psychopaths."
Minato sighed and said, "Fine…but on one condition. You teach me and Kushina-chan here how to enhance the Rasengan like you did with our affinities."
Naruto grinned and said, "Deal. Now don't you have some business to take care of?"
Minato sighed and he took out a piece of paper and started writing on it. He brought out a messenger hawk and the large bird took the scroll in its claws and headed for the capital.
"Are you sure that he Kage summit is a good idea Minato-kun?" Kushina asked a little nervous.
Minato looked at his beautiful wife and said, "I don't know, but Naruto is right. We need to take the fight to them."
Meanwhile…
The leader of the Akatsuki, Pain, looked down at the man bowing in front of him.
"So you believe that with your powers you can bend the Jinchuuriki to your will?" Pain asked.
Pain nodded and said, "Yes. I can help you in your conquest of the world."
Pain looked down at him and said, "What do you want in return."
The man looked up and said, "I simply want control of fire country. I want to be the daimyo. I want to be a true leader like I always should have been."
Pain looked down at the man before reaching out and handing a black cloak with red clouds on it. The man rose up to reveal Danzo. The man took the cloak and put it on with a grin.
As the man left a man with a half white and half black face with yellow eyes rose up from the ground next to him.
"Keep an eye on his Zetsu," Pain said, "I don't trust him."
The plant man nodded and said, "Yes Pain-sama."
Pain then walked back behind the shadows. As he was watching he didn't notice a tall man with an orange mask that had a hole in the middle of it. When you looked in the whole you could see a red eye with three tomoe marks on it.
"Keep moving my puppet," the man said, "Soon this war will end."
As he moved back into the darkness his chuckle echoed through the halls sending a feeling of evil around it and would have chilled someone to the bone if they were around to hear it.
Okay next chapter is the Kage Summit, the Akatsuki move, and Danzo finally reveals his power. In all honesty if Danzo was crazy he probably would have joined Akatsuki. In a sense he was loyal to Konoha, but he still put himself above all else. That's probably Hiruzen was picked over him. Okay see you all next time.
