Across The Universe
Chapter 2
A/N: Hey Guys! So I managed to get rid of a cold in a day, which is amazing! Anyways, now that I'm back to normal, I have a little update for you guys I hope you enjoy and I'll see you at the bottom!
The Boys and Cynthia were just sitting around, watching the telly and taking a few occasional phone calls. George had fallen asleep again but nobody decided to bother him
"When are we going out then?" Paul asked.
"A little bit later, it's America, still very early here," Ringo replied.
It was about 7:00, which wasn't too too early, but definitely early by the boy's standards.
"George, are you sure you're right?" Cynthia asked George, as he had just woken up.
"Maybe not," George admitted sheepishly. "I think I'll just stay in tonight."
"I'm going to get Eppy to get a doctor," John declared.
"No, John, please don't" George replied. "I don't want to be making any trouble for anyone. "
"If you're sick, you're sick." Said Paul. "It's not a bother.
"And we need you to get better for the Ed Sullivan show" said Ringo.
He went over to feel George's forehead and jumped back in surprise.
"Blimey, George!" shouted Ringo. "That's really hot"
Cynthia offered him a thermometer and he stuck it in the younger boy's mouth.
"102," Read John with a grimace. "That's not good.
"What's not good," asked Brian as he entered the room?
"George's sick," replied Paul.
"How bad is he?" he asked.
John showed him the thermometer reading.
"Oh my," Brian said. "What are the other symptoms?"
"Coughing, sore throat, headache, stuffy nose and dizziness," George replied.
"I'll call the doctor straight away," Brian replied. "In the meantime, the rest of you need to stay away from George." You have a show coming up."
"Alright, we'll head out now," Ringo replied.
That left George and Brian alone, waiting for the doctor's arrival.
A/N: Hey Guys, I know it's mean of me to leave you hanging, but I just couldn't resist :D Anyways don't forget to review and I'll talk to you guys later.
