Chapter 7: Afraid
Rubbing the sleep out of her verde eyes, even if she had that yearning to close them again to fall back asleep, Tora stayed upright. Blinking as she looked around, she wasn't sure what to do now. Getting out of bed, she walked out of the room that was hers and strolled around. Tora's gaze flickered to everywhere, wondering if there would be anything exciting for the day until night fell. Hopefully she didn't get killed by Grimmjow if she ran into him.
"Boring." She grumbled to herself as she passed someone. Looking back, she bowed quickly at the presence of the person she didn't recognize. Lowering her head, Tora hoped that she didn't anger him. "I'm sorry that I didn't notice you before Tôsen-sama."
The blind shinigami turned to look at the presence of the female arrancar and continued on.
Looking up when she thought it was clear to do so, the feline arrancar turned back to continue down the hall. Narrowing her eyes a bit, her mind wondered about a lot of things. One of those being if Gin was controlling the hallways that day.
"Why did he go to Madoka-hime's room?" Tora pondered as she stepped outside into the daylight that was from the artificial sun that Aizen created. Wincing a little at the bright light, the female arrancar raised her hand to cover her eyes in shadows. Why did the man that helps make arrancars make it so bright out here when it was supposed to be day?
Her pace froze, almost like her feet were lead or some other heavy metal. Looking around, she bowed quickly when she noticed the blond hair that stood out from the tanned skin. "Hello Harribel-sama."
The lone espada woman looked over at the arrancar.
"Harribel-sama don't talk to her." One of her fracciónes stated. Tora had a feeling it was Apacci with the mouth the other arrancar had. She was correct when she glanced over to see Apacci pointing at her as if she was something unusual.
"The last time I check we are the same." Tora stated and looked at the sky to avoid glaring at the other arrancar that was there. She never got along with Harribel's fracciónes for some reason.
"What did you do to make Grimmjow mad the other day? I could feel his spiritual pressure from here." Harribel inquired as her eyes moved over to her subordinates that were arguing between themselves.
"Nothing. Not that I know of Harribel-sama. All I know was that I was minding my own business when he attacked me." She stated and started to go back toward the building she was in a moment ago. "Who knows the reason behind the attacks?"
Looking back at the woman that was the tercero espada. Nodding, she slipped into the building then back to her room. She didn't see why she couldn't take another nap.
A shorter chapter but it happens. Please review.
