Chapter 19: Observe
Even if she was worried about how tough she was with her subordinate, Madoka's gaze lingered on the monitors with Gin lightly napping farther away from the screens. The white-haired shinigami glanced at another screen and smiled a little. She could see the distant look of her subordinate's eyes but it meant that Grimmjow would only try harder to get her back to her senses.
"I sense evil intent from you Rabbit-hime." Gin chimed as he walked over and set his chin on her slightly tense shoulder. Looking at the screens, he caught what held his lover's attention so much that she barely noticed his touch. "What do you have going through that mind now?"
"Easy Kitsune-kun. I think arrancars are allowed to fall in love. Let them fall in love and see if they actually have hearts." The female shinigami chimed as she glanced over at the man the best she could. The only thing that concerned her was the fact that Grimmjow was a pure sadist and Tora wasn't a masochist.
"Interesting enough. The only question is: does Aizen-sempai support your experiment?" Gin wondered out loud as he broke the contact that was between them. Looking down at the woman, seeing her dark azure orbs focused on them, he smiled more then before.
"I'm willing to accept the challenge of getting him on my side." Madoka answered and got out of the seat. Walking out of the room, she went to look for the man that would help or hurt the experiment that she was running. Looking down hallways as she passed them, she found nothing of the man that was concealing his spirit energy. "Aizen-sempai?"
"Yes Madoka?" His voice echoed in the empty hallway, scaring her slightly.
Turning to look at the brunette haired man, she bowed and saw the curious look in his eyes. Standing up straight, the ex shinigami fell beside the man as he strolled along. "I need your thoughts on a relationship that I'm trying to see if it'll work or not."
"Go on." Aizen chimed as he held open the door that led into the room she was in previously. Nodding to Gin, he continued to wait for her to go on.
"Well, I was going to see if arrancars can actually fall in love so I thought that the perfect guinea pigs would be Tora and Grimmjow. I want to know if you support or are against the situation. Are you?" Madoka asked finally as she looked at the man, wincing a little as she saw her friend get thrown into the building.
"It sounds interesting enough since they say they have no hearts. Continue with it. I'd like to see how it plays out also." Aizen said, almost reminding him how he used Shinji and the others for the hollowification process. That urge to snicker at the past experiment while Gin was a child came up but he didn't do it.
"Thank you so much Aizen-sempai!" The blue-eyed woman said with a quick bow to the man. As she rose quickly, she watched as Tora was thrown into the building once more, breaking the wall into one of the hallways. Flickering her gaze to a screen that showed the broken Tora that was about ready to fall out of her resurrección form, she sighed.
"It's going to take a lot of hard work to get those two together." Gin commented with a snicker since it was almost cat and dog with the two. Watching every second of the fight, he wondered why Madoka would want to see if those two would fall in love. Was it because they were almost the same? He wondered this as he kept his gaze on the screen.
"It's worth a shot though. Give the situation that's desperate enough then maybe they will. It'll work. I know it will." The ex shinigami stated as she waited for anything that might indicate a budding relationship. Watching as the one-armed espada picked up Tora, when he usually left her there, made a smile grace her face. "It'll happen. I know it will. That's proof right there, when he picked her up that is proof it'll work."
"How so?"
"He normally doesn't do that when he fights with her. I've got that little pattern of his down and he doesn't do that. Bring up his palace and the one out in the hallway facing her door." Madoka ordered, hearing a few clicks and seeing the requested frames brought up.
Seeing the light blue haired and eyed espada carry her into her room made the smile get bigger. "They're going to be together."
A little longer since it seems like they're one-page if it focuses on Madoka. I'm still iffy about the way I have Aizen portrayed. I hope I got him right. Please review.
