The knights journey

Their once was a knight

His name was bill,

He gained the favor of the king,

Once on his travels,

He saw a maiden,

Singing in the meadow's trees,

"Fair maiden will you marry me?"

He called to her across the meadow

She disappeared into the forest's shadow.

The knight leaped off his steed,

To follow the fading shadows

As he entered the forest,

The trees fell silent.

But he did not heed of what's to come.

Faster, faster he ran!

Glimpses of the maidens dress flashed through the trees.

The sun started to fall,

And so did the knight.

He called for her to stop,

But she did not heed.

No more could he run,

The day was done.

He sat by a tree and slept,

As he woke he heard a song,

The maiden's song.

Slowly he crept,

So not to fright.

And So he found,

Not one, but five maidens.

Sitting on a tree,

Singing their songs

As he emerged,

They started to flee

All but one who sat on the tree,

There was nowhere to run,

Nowhere to hide.

As he gazed up he could see

It was not the one he had saw

But a maiden with blue eyes.

She started to climb,

Down the tree.

He held out his hand to help her down

She stepped on the grass that's on the ground

The knight took her hand and bent on one knee,

And proposed.

The girl was shocked on what he said,

But quickly agreed.

They wed at night

When the moon was bright. Now they live by the sea.

Will Soon be a family.
