"Hi, My sweet Baboo!" Sally greeted Linus at the door. It was Halloween and he'd knocked at the door. "Are you coming trick or treating with us this year?"

"First of all, I AM NOT YOUR SWEET BABOO!" Linus yelled. Then he calmed down. "And no, I was just wondering if you wanted to go to the pumpkin patch with me again this year."

"Good grief!" Sally said as she rolled her eyes. "I'm not going to miss tricks or treats this year to be disappointed again!"

"But, I'm trying another pumpkin patch this year." Linus explained. "I-I need a witness."

"Well that blanket can be your witness!" She yelled as she pointed at his security blanket. Then she slammed the door. Linus looked at his security blanket and hugged it.

"She didn't mean it." He whispered to his blanket and cuddled it close and sucked his thumb.

That night...

Linus held up his sign and waited in the pumpkin patch with his blanket.

"I know The Great Pumpkin will come this year! I just know he will!" Linus said to motivate himself. He'd been doing this for years and not once had he seen him. "This has got to be the most sincere pumpkin patch!" He sighed. "I just wish I could see the Great Pumpkin."

"Did someone say my name?" Asked a voice. Before Linus could do anything else, he fainted.
