"Well that's just great now isn't it Bella." says Alice after I tell them what went down at lunch.
"You know all the guys are scum anyways and yet you still let them affect you so you react!"
"I know Rose and I'm sorry but I'm just so sick of it already."
"Well we can't change it now. Just wait until Jacob here's of this. You know he'll tell Jared and they'll show up sometime."
Alice has a point. I didn't think of what could happen after.
She's right though Jake's always been protective of me. Every time something like this goes down he some how hears about it and shows up at school to find out which guy it was.
"I'll tell him after practice what happened and make sure nothing happens. I can't have Jake running here every time this happens."
I've gotta make sure he doesn't hear about it first though.
"If you say so but remember Charlie knows and he'll probably brag to Billy about how his 'little angel' broke a guys nose."
"Yeah Rose, you've got a point. I'll just have to hope Charlie doesn't say anything and I get the chance to talk to Jake first."
"Ok well let's get practice started then. Have you got the song list down yet Bells? I wanna make sure I've got the beats down for them."
"Okay Ali, so I was thinking that I won't be the only one singing for Carlisle."
"WHAT" say's Rose.
"Bella NO I can't!" there's Alice.
"Seriously guys why do I have to be the only one to sing? If we do make it big I can't be the only one to sing. Don't you think it would help our chances if we're all well rounded?" I tell them.
I give them sometime to think it over cause they know I'm right so it doesn't matter what they say.
I've already come up with the song list and each of them will be singing.
"OK since Bella is making us sing." Cue death glare from Alice.
"I've got our outfits ready as well!"
"Apparently I'm out of the loop since I didn't get to help you huh Alice." complains Rose.
"Well since I put it all together and made a few adjustments to the things we've already got I didn't have to go shopping." Yeah I can tell Ali feels bad but is trying to explain why Rose missed out on a shopping trip.
"Yeah fine I just better love mine that's all I'm saying." Rose says while going to set her bass up.
Ali looks at me and I swear I saw a little twinkle in her eye that's got me all worried now.
"I swear Ali it better be something I don't mind wearing. I'll be pissed if it's some frilly girly outfit!" I tell her.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah I know you'll love it so shut up and let us know what songs we're singing for Carlisle."
I give Ali one last look while going to get my notebook.
"Ok so I think we should cover Aly & AJ and like two songs by Avril. I'll sing the Avril songs and I'll sing with either of you for the Aly and AJ songs. I think we should show off our vocal range while we're at it."
"Sounds fair to me. How many songs we talking?" asks Rose.
"Well I guess I'll do two from Avril and sing with each of you one song. Four total I guess."
"Better to not go over board and play a whole bunch in case they don't like us." She replies.
"Don't have that attitude Rose! You've gotta believe so we'll be on Rolling Stones!" squeaks Ali.
"I figure it's a few songs and it will show off most of our vocal range so we should be good." I tell them.
"Ok well let's get to it then!" Alice rushes off to her drums screaming.
I knew they wouldn't have too much of a problem with it.
To get one of them to sing on their own would be the problem but if I duet with them they've got no problem.
Go figure.

Ok so we're meeting with Carlisle tomorrow.
Our practices have been rather short but we've got it down mostly.
Alice is throwing a fit about having to play and sing at the same time.
I just laughed.
Tough cause I have to do it all the damn time.
Whatever.
"I'll bring the outfits over to your house tonight Bella and we'll try them on to make sure everything is all in order for tomorrow." says Alice.
"You know what. How the hell did your conversation with Jacob go Bella?" asks Rose.
Shit.
I haven't told them what went down yet.
"Oh yeah! It's been nearly a week and we haven't seen him!" questions Alice.
Shit.
"Well get on with it." demands Rose.
Shit.
So I explained word for word what went down.
Flashback
"Hey Bells." Jake answers breathless.
"Hey, did I interrupt something?" he sounds like he was just running.
"Nah, Jared and I were just working out in the garage. What's up?"
"Ok well I'll just be forward about it. I broke a guys nose at school today." I squeeze my eyes closed knowing whats coming.
"Jeeze Bells, what did the guy do? he asks.
Well at least he didn't jump to conclusions.
"Asked me out and said it didn't matter I was with you cause you were just a res boy." I tell him.
Silence.
Shit.
"Jake..?" I ask.
Still Silence.
Shit. This is bad.
"Excuse me?" He says. Still under control but I can tell he's losing it.
"You heard me Jake. I just took matters into my own hands." I tell him.
"Yeah well I'll come down and find this fucker and show him what a res boy is." he says.
"No, Jake."
"Doesn't matter I'm still coming down." he replies.
"I said no Jake. I don't need you coming down every single time this happens." I feel like such a kid talking to him.
"Bells. You're with me. Obviously these shitheads at your school just don't understand that."
"Jake, I've been thinking about this for awhile but I think we need to just be friends already. It's not that I wanna be with someone else. But you know that my feelings aren't as strong as yours are." I tell him.
"What the hell Bells. Are you breaking up with me?" he asks.
"Jake I just don't wanna string you along already. I just wanna focus on my music for now. I don't wanna hold you back either." I try to explain.
I hear him sigh. He knows I'm right and he got into this relationship knowing I didn't feel that way but he wanted to try to see if things could go anywhere.
"Yeah I get it. I guess you just don't feel that way for me huh?" he asks.
"I'm sorry Jake. It's just not there and my music is important right now."
"Yeah, well I still wanna kick that guys ass." I hear him chuckle.
"No hard feelings?" I need to make sure we're still friends. He's one of my best friends.
"Of course Bells. I'll love you no matter what. Although I wish things could be different between us, I understand."
Thank God.
"Well I gotta go. I'm sorry though Jake." I tell him.
I mean shit I really do feel bad but I feel worse stringing him along.
There's probably girls over at the res fawning over him.
He's a great guy but he's just not for me.
"K love you Bells. Kick ass at that meeting for me kay?" He says.
I laugh.
"Of course you know me. I'll rock the pants off him!"
"Haha, bye Bells."
"Bye, Jake."
I guess I technically should have told them that night or the next day at school but shit.
It kinda just slipped my mind.
They know about how I feel for Jake.
This shouldn't surprise them right?
Silence.
What the hell is up with all the damn silence I get from people these days.
They both just stare at me.
I see Rose roll her eyes.
Alice looks like she's about to cry.
"But why Bells?" she asks.
"Ali, you know how Jake feels and you know how I feel about him. I just felt it was time just to end it since mine aren't getting near his." she looks crushed but not too bad.
Then. Yup. I saw that.
"Rose what haven't you told us." I ask.
She looks at me like she's all innocent.
I call bullshit.
"What. Nothing." she says and looks away.
Just then Royce walks by and gives Rose the death glare.
I see her smile then turn back to me.
"I'm a free women bitches!" she laughs.
Yes! I see Alice's mouth drop.
"WHAT!" she screams!
Rose just shrugs her shoulders.
"I was bored already and I wasn't about to have sex with that idiot. He said I didn't really love him if I wouldn't so I told him 'You're right so fuck off I'm free!' my exact words to him!" she smiles.
I swear I haven't seen Rose smile that big in forever!
I just smile back cause I'm glad she dumped that fucker.
Alice is suddenly very interested in something on the ground.
"Ali?" I ask.
She is not one to be speechless so something's up.
"Jared and I broke up last night." she whispers.
Oh.
That's why she's so shocked about our news.
She cared for him but not as much as he did for her.
"I didn't want things to go further between us cause I felt trapped already." she explains.
I get that feeling. Her situation with Jared was similar to Jake and I.
"I just told him I didn't want to be with anyone right now. He understood after me explaining to him over and over that there wasn't someone else."
"Fanfuckingtastic!" Rose says.
We both look at her like she's crazy.
"Well hello now that we're all free we can perform for Carlisle and company, get signed, get famous, get fucking rockstar boyfriends, and do it all with fucking class!" She says.
Seriously.
What. The. Hell.
"Well I'm all up for the getting signed and getting famous part." I say.
"Yeah well I want a fucking hot rockstar boyfriend!" yells Ali. Quickly covering her mouth.
Yeah although they just broke up. Ali doesn't want that finding it's way to Jared's ears.
Rose and I just laugh at her while she turns red as a beet.
"Well let's meet at my house the usual time. Ali bring the outfits. Rose can you make sure Bucky is cleaned please? I'll call Carlisle to see if we need to bring our own equipment."
They nod.
"See yah guys at the pit." I say.
