Don't hold back
So without further ado…
Blair woke up the next morning in her with silk pink sheets adorned king-sized bed. She had no idea how she ended up in her bed.
She only knew that she had a splitting headache and it did not help that Dorota her Polish maid was bustling through her room calling her name.
"Miss Blair, miss Blair you need to wake up!" "Time for school" Dorota said while she opened the curtains and let the soft sun in the room.
Luckily Blair had a sleeping mask on so she wasn't bothered by the sudden ray of light that fell in her bedroom.
"Miss Blair don't make me get my tape of Russian children's choir again" Dorota said menacingly. That never thought Blair and she immediately sat up straight feeling the blood rush to her head. "Oh.." Blair grabbed at her throbbing head. She fought the urge to just crawl back under her silk fluffy pink sheets and call in a sick day. But Waldorf's don't do sick days. They had to be strong, dashing and vigilant at all cost.
"Dorota get me an Advil! or two" Blair said while she peeked from under sleeping mask. "And for God sake close those curtains!" "Yes miss Blair" and Dorota walked out of the room. "Curtains!" yelled Blair after her maid but she was already gone.
Blair swung her legs over the bedside and stood slowly up. She stood still for a moment the room spun around her. Get a grip Waldorf, Blair commanded herself. She slowly walked over to the adjoining bathroom. Still feeling a bit wobbly but she made it. Blair took a quick shower to clear all the fogginess in her head. When she was done she dried off and wrapped a towel around her and walked back in the bedroom. Dorota stood already in her bedroom holding a tray with breakfast and two Advil's. "I'm not hungry Dorota, I will only take the two Advil's." Blair took the glass of water and swallowed the two Advil's. "Miss Blair breakfast good for hangover." "I am not hung over! I was just slightly… tipsy that's all"
"Miss Blair …." Dorota gave her a meaningful glare. "Alright! I was drunk, but it wasn't my fault! It was all because of that… " Blair suddenly remembered what she had done last night. "…. guy." "Guy what guy miss Blair?" Dorota asked.
But Blair was lost in her thoughts. Yikes I stabbed him in the foot with my heel. I think he's not going to take that lightly. He didn't look like a force you could reckon with. But on the other hand neither am I. He deserved it actually, feeling ladies up when they are 'slightly' drunk. How did I become 'slightly' drunk actually? Blair thought hard. And then suddenly shouted: "that Basstard!" Dorota was startled by the sudden outburst of words coming from miss Blair's mouth. "Who's Basstard miss Blair?" Dorota asked anxiously looking up at miss Blair's angry face. "That guy!" said Blair. "What guy miss Blair?" But Blair was already pondering her thoughts again this time at loud. "Of course everything makes sense now!" Blair said while she walked up and down the room. "Because I rejected his offer to get to 'know' each other, he must have wanted revenge!"
"What makes sense miss Blair and whose offer?" "Why don't you tell me anything!" Dorota said anxiously. She had seen that gleam in miss Blair's eyes one time before. When her former 'friend' Georgina Sparks had spread a rumor about her best friend Serena van der Woodsen when they were in kindergarten. And that gleam wasn't a good sign. It meant total destruction…
Dorota couldn't stay in the past for long because miss Blair was rumbling further on.
"But he got the total opposite. He should have known better than to mess with Blair Waldorf!" Blair said with a smile. "He must have paid the waiter to get us drunk.'' ''But how did he knew that too much alcohol was my weakness. Only Serena knows, unless… he overheard our conversation!" "That sneaky SOB! He must have been lurking in the shadows and then watching for an opportune moment to strike!" Dorota saw that the gleam was getting worse. "Oh but he'll pay!" "And then what I did to his foot is but a mere graze…" Blair said with fire in her eyes and an evil smile.
"Dorota!" Blair snapped at her Polish maid. Once again Dorota was startled by the sudden reversal of miss Blair's attention. "Y-yes miss Blair?" "Get a few sets of clothing out of the closet that exude strength and victory. I have a school to run and a guy to crush" "Yes miss Blair." When Dorota entered the closet she thought to herself: whoever this 'guy' is he is no good influence on miss Blair…
Meanwhile in the Bass suite.
A phone ringed.
Chuck didn't hear the phone until the third ring. He searched for the phone semi-conscious "Where is the damn thing" he muttered. Until his hand touched the cold metal. "Hello…" he said his voice oozing with sleep. "Mr. Bass this is your wake-up call" said the female voice through the telephone. It was probably Patricia from the front desk. "What time is it?" Chuck asked still barely awake. " 7.30 sir" said the female voice. "Alright, thanks." Chuck hung up falling back on his pillow. He laid still in his bed for a while. While he laid in his bed one imaged popped up in his mind. Blair Waldorf the girl got away, but not for long he thought with a smirk. He has never met a girl like her. Most girls would bend over backwards to be touched by him like he touched Blair last night. But not Blair she's… different.
He actually liked the change. It has been a while since he had to chase somebody. This could help him keep his wits about, and not be stuck in routine. Chuck stood up and rubbed the remaining sleep from out of his eyes. But then again he still had a sore foot and he wasn't going to let her be unpunished for that. He thought and a wicked grin crept across his face.
Chuck got dressed and phoned to his driver to bring the limo around.
"Good morning Mr. Bass" said his driver Arthur while opening the door for him. "Where to?" "Morning Arthur, school where else." Chuck said bitterly. "Certainly sir." And they both got in the limo.
While driving to school Chuck thought by himself: Nathaniel wants probably a full blown report about last night. Should I tell him about the heel 'accident'? Nah, I'm just going to tell how soft Blair's lips felt against mine. He deserves at least that. So the rest of the ride Chuck thought of an good story that didn't include the 'accident'.
When they arrived at school Chuck invented a good enough story with lots of juicy details for dear Nathaniel. "Have a good day Mr. Bass" Arthur said while opening the door for his boss.
"Thank you Arthur, I think I will" Chuck said with a knowing smirk. He walked over to school and descended the steps.
Chuck tried to find his best friend but he already felt a pat on the back. He turned around and looked in the smiling face of his best friend.
"Nathaniel" he stated. "So…" the eagerly blonde asked. "What Nathaniel?" Chuck asked casually. "How was last night's conquest?"
"I'm appalled Nathaniel that you've think I would roll in the hay with somebody I barely know" Chuck sniggered.
"Come on man tell me the truth" he said while punching Chuck on the arm. "Was she that bad?" "Alright, alright. After you've left I planned to make my move but then I saw even a prettier one. Blair Waldorf is a little girl compared to her."
"I knew it! She wasn't your type man." "How did this 'dream woman' look like?" Nate asked eagerly. Chuck was about to tell him his story of the previous evening but with different names when he saw Blair came up the stairs and walked to Serena.
Blair tapped Serena lightly on the shoulder. "Blair!" exclaimed Serena. She turned around to the girls she was talking to and said: ''See you later girls" and walked with Blair to their usual spot.
"B you look gorgeous!" Serena said with her usual bubbly smile. "Thanks S how was your evening with what's his name again?" Blair asked. "Steven his name was Steven." "And to answer your other question it could've been better" Serena said with a sigh. "Why wasn't he prince charming?" Blair asked with a mocked tone. "Hardly." "But enough about my evening how was yours?" Serena asked curiously.
"Glad you asked, mine was great." "Oeh did you pick up a guy?" "As a matter of fact I did S." "Who? And don't skip a single detail B!"
"Well you know that waiter that kept giving us drinks?" Serena nodded." Well it seems that, that guy Chuck Bass paid him to get us wasted."
Serena was glad she wasn't drinking a drink because she was sure she would've spilled all over Blair.
"Wait-. What?" Serena asked confused. " Ssh it gets better believe me" Blair explained. "Well, when you and what's his name left I decided to get another drink. But when I stepped only one step I was feeling dizzy already and soon I was falling." "Then Chuck hoisted me up and said a pair of his lewd comments." I wanted to go to the ladies room but seen as my legs were useless he helped me get there."
Serena was getting more nervous for the other shoe to drop.
"Once I freshened up a bit I left the ladies room." "Walking out of the ladies room I felt a rude push in my back and then Chuck and I fell against the wall."
Blair was getting more excited to tell the story.
"I tried to get away but he pinned me against the wall and he was saying something about get to 'know' one another." "Then suddenly he was kissing and feeling me up!"
"Wait-. WHAT?" Serena yelled. "Ssh S, I'm not finished" Blair said with irritation clinging to her voice. "THERE IS MORE?" Serena yelled in disbelief at her best friend. "Keep it down S, it's not what you think."
Before Serena could say something Blair was already continuing her story.
"I have to admit he's a good kisser but you know how I hate when guys get handsy. So I taught him a lesson. Blair said with a smug smile on her face.
Serena stared incredulous at her best friends face. "Oh come S don't you want to guess what I did to that smug Basstard? Blair asked. Serena shook her head. She was suddenly lost for words.
"Alright then I tell you."
"I said that ladies don't appreciate being pinned to a wall and being felt up in that kind of state." "So I said that I was one of those girls and pulled myself away." "Then I stomped on his feet with my Louboutin heels and left." Blair said happily.
"Aren't you proud of me S?''
Serena was still at a loss for words. "Hello earth to S, come in S." Blair waved her hand in front of Serena's face. "Just a minute B- I'm still… processing".
Serena said lost in her thoughts.
She knew that nobody had ever pulled a stunt on Chuck Bass like that. Well nobody she knew that lived to tell the tale. She also knew that this wasn't going by unnoticed and unpunished. Blair had brought the wrath of the great Chuck Bass over her and she seemed … happy about it.
Of course she was proud at Blair that she had stood her man against the great Chuck Bass. But she didn't know how to protect Blair from any Bass fury. Serena sighed. They'll just have to deal with.
"B- Serena was about to give her best friend a lecture when the bell rang.
"Come on S or we'll be late for the assembly" Blair said as she hooked an arm through her best friends arm. Reluctantly Serena trotted along with Blair.
When they arrived at the assembly hall they took a seat.
"Dear Constance Billard ladies and St. Jude's men."
'' It's time for the annual pre-senior year mixed cluster project." said the dean. She goes on with that it is tradition etc…
"You know that he's not going to let it slide B, he is after all Chuck Bass" Serena whispered at her best friend. "He's probably want to get revenge…" Serena said with a worried tone.
"Relax S, it's a big school. We probably not going to see each anymore." Blair said not worried at all. "But B-" Serena tried but Blair cut her off. "Ssh I'm not hearing what the dean says." "We talk later" Blair said with a tone in her voice that the discussion was over.
Serena slumped back in her chair.
"As you all know that this project counts for half of your final mark." The dean continues. "And the couple that has the best project wins a prize. If you'll win then that is going in your school dossier and it helped a lot of students in the past to get in the college of their dreams."
"So do your best."
Blair was already fantasizing holding the prize.
"One more thing before I will read the couples."
"You will all be marked as a team, no exceptions" "So if you or you're other team mate messes up and fails you'll get the same grade even if you have done all the work."
"Be warned!"
"Now I will read the couples."
Blair was already not listening anymore she and Serena always did each project together it was like an unwritten rule. That prize would be the pièce de résistance for her perfect record.
"Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass" There was a collective gasp in the student body.
Blair jumped up from her thoughts when she heard her name in the same sentence as that smug Basstard's one.
She must've heard her wrong but then she heard Serena whispered softly in her ear. "Blair you're assigned with Chuck."
Goodbye prize…
