Chapter 9! Just so you know, the reason this story gets updated so quickly is because I've had like, 15 chapters of it written on a notebook for a long, long time. So anyway, I hope you like this story! Please leave a review if it isn't too much trouble! Thanks! Disclaimer- I do not own the Transformers or The Secret Saturdays stuff. I am poor, not rich, I get no profit at all.
Chapter 9
"Where...am I?" Mudflap's voice echoed in the empty and strange place. "You are in the place between life...and death," a strange voice replied. "Am I dying?" "No, no, young key. You were brought here to learn the truth," the voice said, sounding amused. "Key?" Mudflap asked. "Yes. You are...you are...you alone can...help..st-...sa-e," the voice started to falter and become static-y, like a bad phone connection. "Wait! Repeat that! I can't hear you!" But the voice was gone, replaced by the voices of Iris and Zak. "Mudflap! Thank you, you saved me!" Iris said, giving the red mech a hug when she was close enough. Zak also stepped up to Mudflap. "Thank you. You took on my powers; that's hard. I'm sorry if-" Mudflap interrupted. "No, it's fine. I felt I had to. I can't explain it fully, but I just couldn't turn away; I felt drawn to you both," Mudflap confessed. "Mudflap, what's wrong?" Iris asked. "I'm...scared," Mudflap admitted. "Don't worry, we'll figure this out together, because I felt it, too," Zak added. "I also felt it!" Iris piped up. A bright light suddenly began to shine, interrupting. "What is it?" Iris whimpered, clinging to Zak. "I don't know," he admitted. Mudflap scooped up both humans, shouting, "Hang on!" as the bright light enveloped them.
