Hiya! Ok…so one review…again. I feel bad T_T
Inudbzgirl: Woah…I didn't mean to make them that close ._. *reads recent chapters* Hehe *sweatdrop* but I guess I accidently did that. Oops ^_^;
Okay so this is my lame attempt at getting reviews…I'm making this a slight Usopp/Kaya story as seen in the summary, but should I pair Maya up with someone as well? Put your answer in a review and, if yes, tell me who she should be paired with. I'll take whomever (unless everyone thinks she should stay single) but I don't want any slash or Luffy. Alright? (I take anonymous reviews so it's ok if you don't have an account)

Chapter 5. The Not-So Slick Plan
Later that day/night/whatever
"They'll come from that coast because it leads directly to the village." Usopp said. Maya nodded, "This path would be the only way. It's surrounded by cliffs and faces."
"It's easy to say, but the truth is not. What do you guys do anyway?"
"I cut." Zoro said.
"I stretch." Luffy said.
"I steal." Nami said.
"I run and hide." Usopp said.
"YOU HAVE TO FIGHT!" they all, including Maya, shouted.
"What about you?" Zoro asked Maya.
"Karate. "
"What about that staff on your back?"
"I use that too."
She got out a wooden staff with an engraving on the front. "What does it say?" Luffy asked, pointing at the engraving. "M+K." "What does that mean?" He asked, scratching his head…er…hat. "Maya and Kaya, right?" Nami asked. Maya gave her a weird look, "How'd you know?" She shrugged, "You guys just seem pretty close; it's a bit obvious." Maya looked at it thoughtfully, "Yeah…"
Later
"This is perfect! They can't climb up the slope now!"
They had put very slick oil on the slope to where the pirates couldn't make their way up.
Maya nodded, "It's like a playground game. All we have to do is protect the slope; and while their struggling to make it up, we shoot them down."
Nami nodded, "On the other hand we have to make sure we don't accidently slip into the oil ourselves." Maya shrugged, "What're the odds of that happening, though?"
"What a slick plan!" Luffy said.
"Boo. Bad joke." Maya gave a thumbs-down.
Zoro glanced at the sun, "it's morning, they'll be coming soon."

"Where are they?" Luffy asked.
"Maybe they overslept?" Maya suggested, sitting by the oil.
Nami suddenly snapped her head up. She cupped her hand to her ear and said, "Is it me…or am I hearing voices toward north?"
Maya jerked off her sitting spot, "North?" She and Usopp exclaimed.
"Yep, I definitely hear something." Nami said.
"What is it?" Zoro shouted. "Ugh!" Maya sank to her knees. "There's another port to the North!" Usopp exclaimed. Shit shit shit SHIT! Maya cursed in her mind. "You mean we've been waiting at the wrong place?" Luffy yelled.
"We have to hurry! Where are they?" Luffy asked. "If we just run to North without stopping we should make it on time!" Usopp said.
"Our ships are docked there! They'll steal our treasure!" Nami exclaimed.
"I'll be there in 20 seconds!" Luffy shouted, running off.
"This is bad! We only planned for this port!" Usopp yelled.
Nami tried running off, but slipped into the oil in the meantime. "Help! I'm slipping!" She grabbed Zoro's shirt making him slip in too. "Hey! Let go of me!" Nami walked onto him and jumped on the ground. "Sorry, Zoro but our treasure's in danger!" She ran off. She's evil. Maya thought. "I'LL KILL YOU, WITCH!" Zoro shouted.
Maya sighed in exasperation; she walked over to him, "Give me your hand." She said. Zoro nodded and grabbed her wrist instead. "Ah!" She nearly slipped down with him, "Jesus! What have you been eating!" She tried to pull him up…but that wasn't enough. "Ugh!"
Then Maya got an idea. She took her staff and dug it into the ground; she held onto the staff while she offered her hand to Zoro. "You sure that's gonna work? It's just a wooden staff; it might break." "Just grab my hand…my actual hand this time!" He obeyed, Maya began to pull him up while holding onto the staff. Zoro made it off the oil safely; he gave her a puzzled look, "How'd it-"
"Just shut up and go!" She exclaimed.
"Right!"
End of Chapter 5
Yeah. Another short chapter but this time it was purposeful. I did t to add suspense (even though most of you already know what's happening.)
