inudbzgirl : This is one part of the series that I hated, some random guy that showed up on your parents door step and you believed that he'd really care for you..while the only person in the world who could make you smile you slap him for telling the truth..yes Usopp may be a liar but his lies are only hilarious stories, he doesn't lie about anything important...I hate that Kaya couldn't see that until Merry got injured.

Me: GET BACK IN THE FANFICTION! *kicks Maya back into the story*
Chapter 8. The Terrifying Duo! Zoro and Maya Vs. The Nyaban Brothers!
"Anyone? Is anyone here?! ANYONE!" Kaya screeched
"It's useless Miss Kaya! Everyone's gone on vacation." Merry said, leaning his back against the wall.
Kaya looked fearfully at him, "T-That can't be true! Then I-"
"Now's not the time to panic! Nothing's happened yet. It's vital that we calm down and think of a solution for this." Kaya took a breath.
"If Klahadore's objective is everything in this house then give it to him! It's not worth your life to protect it."
Kaya wiped off her tears, "Yes."
"The problem at hand is that you're the only on who can stop Klahadore. Can you do it? Even though it's not your responsibility?"
"I understand. I… will not run away from this. I understand the consequences. I will talk to Klahadore!"
Merry could have sworn he saw a little bit of Maya in Kaya's now determined eyes.

The boys were trying to climb the gate.
"What do you think you're doing? Hold on to them tight!" Pepper yelled at Onion.
"But these iron bars are too slippery!"
"We still need to climb over! Even if it is! Aren't you worried about Miss Kaya?"
"Someone's coming!"
They ducked down just low enough to be unseen.
"it's Miss Kaya! She's okay!" Pepper said.
They watched as she walked opened the gate and walked through.
"She seems to be troubled by something." Pepper observed.
"Miss Kaya's leaving her house alone." Carrot said.
"Something's wrong." Onion added.
"Something must've happened!"

Nami walked over with Usopp's arm slung over her shoulder for support, "Seems like they got wiped out." She said, referring to Luffy's unlucky victims.
"Looks like it." Zoro confirmed.
"Whoa..." Was all Maya could say.
"Hey, we should be more concerned of Luffy being under that thing." Usopp pointed out, looking at Luffy's snoozing form under the figure-head.
"He'll be fine." Zoro smirked, "You'd better be worried about your own injuries." He said.
"He's getting up." Maya said, pointing to Jango.
Jango began muttering some things under his breath, something about "plan" and "Kuro" and "we'll all be killed!"
Whoa. What?
"Hey, Butchi! Look what happened out here!"
Maya looked up along with everyone else.
"What's all this?"
Jango turned around and shouted. "Come out Nyaban Brothers!"
Suddenly some weird guys jumped off from the ship and landed in front of Jango.
One was a really scrappy, skinny guy with green hair put up in a weird way, while the other was a fat guy with a bell around his neck and a…hat? Hair? What the heck is up with the way pirates look?
"You called, Jango?" Skinny guy said.
"You called?" Fat guy said.
"Sham and-"
"Butchi!"
"Together, we are the Nyaban Brothers!"
Maya blinked, uhhh what's up with the poses? Jeez when all this is over she's gonna go do research on pirates.
Jango nodded, "Butchi, Sham. We must get past this slope but… as you can see, a couple of kids are in our way."
"I'M SEVENTEEN!"
Jango ignored her, "Take care of them."
The two suddenly began to cower in fear, "Th-That's impossible for us! Right, Butchi?"
"Yeah, they seem to be very strong."
Maya raised a brow.
"Moreover, our responsibility's just to look after the ship!" Sham said, backing away.
"Right! You're responsible for the battles!"
"What's this?" Usopp asked, "Aren't they supposed to be their trump card?" Maya shrugged, "They don't look all that strong to me." She said.
"Sham, Butchi, just do it!" Jango ordered.
"What?!"
"GET GOIN'!"
"O-Okay!"
"They look completely different! What're they up to?" Nami wondered.
Sham and Butchi began running toward the two of them blindly, screeching and yelling along the way to where Maya had to cover her ears.
"Hey, you! Be prepared! I will demolish you with these claws!" Sham yelled to Zoro.
"You're just a girl! You can never beat us!" Butchi shouted to Maya, giving her a tick mark.
"What am I supposed to do with this guy?" Zoro asked, unsheathing one of his swords. "You! If you don't stop, I'm going to kill you!"
Suddenly they both stopped.
"That is… if you can kill me." Sham said.
"Wha-"
Sham charged at Zoro with his claws, Zoro barely blocked it.
"Zoro! What the-"
Butchi did the same to her, but she blocked it with her staff.
"You underestimated us." Sham said.
