Chapter 16

Zak POV

Marcus looked wary when I came into the room. At that point I didn't care. "Where's Leksi Marcus?" His expression became confused.

"I haven't seen her for two days." My anger boiled.

"Like hell you haven't! You're the only one she would run away with!" Marcus put his hand on my arm and I shrugged it off.

"Why would she run away with me?"

"I know about you two! About the sex and everything! Did she get pregnant again? Is that it?" He looked at me with bewilderment on his face.

"What do you mean by again?" He started to look enraged. Oh fuck! She hadn't told him! She was gonna kick my ass!

"Ummm… Nothing!" I ran out of the room. Sadly I didn't get far before Marcus grabbed me and spun me around.

"What. Did. You. Mean?" He annunciated each word like a sentence. "Was Leksi pregnant before? With my child?" I just nodded. Marcus leaned against the wall and put his hand over his face. "Did" he gulped. "Did she..?"

"Yes she had an abortion." He nodded and stood up straighter.

"It's probably for the best. I couldn't have taken care of them anyway." I noticed the thickness of his voice. "I'll see you later then." I nodded and he walked away. Shit! Leksi was gonna kill me!

Marcus POV

I slammed my door and slid down it putting my head in my hands. Why didn't she tell me? Why couldn't I tell? I was angry. But I was also upset. Tears started to fall for my never to be born child. Had I just noticed that something was wrong, maybe I would have a child now. Maybe I could have convinced that we would be alright. That we could raise it. I slammed my head against the door. I needed to talk to her. I needed to find her.

Niki POV

I ran into Dimitri on my search of the grounds. "Have you found her yet?"

He shook his head. "I was getting ready to search Missoula." I appreciated him a little bit at that point.

"Take me with you. Please." He looked at me with a serious expression.

"Get in the car."

Leksi POV

Lissa had chewed me out. I didn't really care. Everyone knew I'd keep doing it anyway. I sat down on the bed. Being confined to my room was so boring. I was used to Marcus at least being here. And now I couldn't go outside and meet somebody. I felt in my pockets. Yes! They left my phone. I instantly texted Zak.

Hey bubby. I sent the text and it seemed like only a few seconds before he responded.

Where the fuck are you? We've been looking everywhere for you! Come back now!

I frowned at my phone. Adrian must not have told them. I silently laughed at them.

I can't. I'm at court with Adrian.

Why?

He uh, caught me blowing a guy. It seemed to take longer for him to answer me this time. I could picture his face as he read that one.

Who?

You don't know him. I lied about that. He did now Darrek. He used to be one of Zak's best friends.

Leksi… You better tell me now or I'll fly over there and beat it out of you!

Okay okay. It was Darrek Ivashkov.

Why him?

He wanted it.

Whatever I'll deal with you later. I have to go tell everybody ur ok. And don't be surprised if Marcus doesn't tlk to u for a while…

Why? What did you say to him? Did you tell him?

I don't believe you! I sent that and put my phone in my pocket. I didn't answer any of his texts or calls all day.

I pulled my phone back out and texted Marcus. Hey… I think we need to tlk. I sent that and waited for his reply.

Yeah we do…. About a lot of things. I gulped.

How much do u kno?

Everything.

Okay so not as long as normal. Sorry about that. And don't be so hard on Leksi. It's no particularly her fault that she's a slut. It's not really Rose's either. It was in part her curiosity mixed with teenage rebellion and then she got addicted to it. Review please! ^^
