Over a year after the events of Scream VI, the Carpenter sisters are living a peaceful life in New York with the Meeks twins and Danny. All is quiet. Until a new Ghostface kills someone close to Sam. She's also in love with her sister Tara and planned on confessing her true feelings to soon. She agreed to take on another job, Sam & Tara got caught up in something that neither of them expected, both of their lives would be changed forever.

They started dating. By that point, Sam fully embraced her killer instinct. She had soon taken the mantle of Ghostface, only killing those who truly deserved it.
