Petunia Pov

Petunia Dursley awoke to find herself on the floor, entangled in blankets, of her bedroom in Number 4, Privet Drive.

Her whale of a husband was yet again taking over their queen-sized bed, and Petunia wasn't exactly enjoying it.

Atleast he's nowhere near as annoying as her sister was. She'd always been a sore spot.

Sighing, she went to the bathroom to get ready. When you have to take care of a kid you don't want, it gets rather hard to wake up in the morning.

But there would always be her Dinky Diddydums. Now, he hated it when anyone called him that, said his friends thought he was a baby. She didn't dare remind him he was a baby.

Minutes later she had finished, still staring at her reflection in the mirror; that boy was giving her gray hairs. Rubbing the glass with antiseptic, she wondered what they'd eat for breakfast.

Maybe bacon. Harry was good at bacon, even if he always spilled the grease.

Petunia pulled on a hideous plaid shirt and some pants that matched the shade of the silver in her hair. Humming to herself, she left, prepared to see her cute little baby boy.

Petunia opened the door to her Duddy's bedroom; sidestepping all of the toys that littered the ground like fallen leaves.

"Duddums, time to get up." Petunia said softly. Her only response was light groaning.

Deciding he could use some beauty sleep, she walked downstairs to the cupboard underneath them.

Petunia had expected to find that stinking boy still sleeping, maybe even crying, as he had taken to that lately, but what she fund instead was nowhere near expected.

Lily Pov

This was getting rather confusing. The man Lily woke up certainly looked like James Potter, but he was mature and quiet.

He even looked older. Lines marked his face that hadn't been there before. There was a scar on his elbow.

Time travel would be the obvious explanation, but she still hadn't ditched the theory that this was a foolish prank either.

Time travel isn't real anyways. Lily knew she would never marry Potter nonetheless, so Harry couldn't possibly exist.

What type of wacked up future would that be anyway? Lily was left to ponder that when a woman walked in. She was old and wearing a pair of rather ridiculous pants.

It took a while to recognize her, as new wrinkles and a new hair color had changed her face quite a bit, but her Tuney would never be a stranger to her.

Lily watched those eyes- this colorless blue that hid so many different feelings.

Petunia stifled a gasp. Then, horror-stricken and pale, she fainted. Wondering if she was actually insane, Lily looked at the ceiling. Potter was taking this too far. Her sister was a big sore spot when it came to things she hated.

She turned to Potter, face red and contorted.

But he seemed to preoccupied with rage. He was standing outside of the room they used to be in, staring at the door frame, his knuckles turning a contrasting white to his wand.

She'd deal with him later.

Harry on the other hand, was cowering up on his pillow. He looked like he'd seen a ghost, and with this many wizards around, he might of.

"It's okay, no need to be scared." She tried, but it came out harsh. When you grow up hating someone, it's not really easy to turn into a caring friend for their clone.

Lily focused on the eyes. She couldn't possibly get mad at herself. "Don't be scared, everything's fine." Lily told the little boy soothingly.

She then turned around to see Potter gazing at the scene before him, incredulous and unbelieving. Lily looked away, embarrassed he'd seen the scene she'd made.

No need to make him think she had changed.

Heat rose to her cheeks, and she suddenly felt rather lucky to have turned away when she did.

Harry gripped her arm, and Lily didn't have the heart to push him off. Maybe if she payed along this whole thing would go away.

"We're going to apparate to Dumbledore's office, hold on." James whipped his wand out, grabbing Harry with a swift arm.

"Sure." Her answer was barely more than a whisper. Professor Dumbledore could help her. Cast some magic spell to get this illusion to disappear.

Who knows.

They are apparating outside Hogwarts grounds.
