Chapter 6
I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to add another chapter, but school is keeping me so busy! Anyways. I don't own White Collar and all mistakes are my own.
The next morning, I woke up to the smell of pancakes and bacon. I forced myself out of the warm comfort of my bed and dragged myself downstairs.
"Goodmorning El, Neal".
I did a double take and rubbed my eyes to make sure I wasn't seeing things, but I wasn't. Neal Caffrey was standing in my brothers kitchen, looking as handsome as ever, while I was in my pajamas. Neal was in a designer suit; I was in sweatpants and a tshirt with a messy bun and my glasses.
"Goodmorning Christina. I didn't know you had glasses. They look good on you" said Neal with his cute half smirk as he sipped his coffee.
El looked at me helplessly and shrugged her shoulders.
"Caffrey, what the hell are you doing here?"
"I came to get Peter, but he's not ready yet, and Elizabeth so kindly offered me a cup of coffee, how could I refuse?"
"I'm going to check on Peter" said Elizabeth, giving me an look before she left the room.
"Really, Neal? You just had to come in here and get a coffee?"
"Well maybe I came to see you, that may have been a small part of it"
Neal looked up at me with his stunning blue eyes, and a thousand watt smile and I melted.
"Well you could give a girl a warning next time?" I whined.
Neal laughed and said, "Why, you look kind of cute like that."
I put my hands on my hips and stuck my my tongue out at him.
"Wow. Mature." Neal said with a roll of his eyes.
"Thank you, I try."
"Are you busy tonight?"
Neal's question took me by serious surprise. I raised my eyebrows questioningly and before I could say anything, Neal said "Great! My house, eight o'clock"
Just then, I heard Peter and Elizabeth began to come down the stairs. Neal turned to me and whispered in my ear, "I know I said drinks when it was raining, but I couldn't help myself. Like i said, it will be worth it."
With that, Neal flipped he fedora on his head, winked at me, and went to meet Peter at the front door.
