Innocence

"Leave me be!" She whispered, huddled on the bed in the dimly lit bridal chamber, awaiting her simple and innocent Jack.

I will not, the voice came to her, seemingly from all sides at once and she cringed. Was the voice really there or she merely mad?

Never fear my lady. I am as real as the blood that pumps so feverishly in your heart, the dreams for darkness in your mind, and the seed of sin deep within.
