Here's the chapter…..

Suddenly the spinning sensation stopped. My feet hit solid ground and I couldn't help it I fell over and burst out laughing. A grin was stretched so far over my face it ached. Max fell next to me laughing too. We couldn't stop we just laughed and laughed and stared at the sky for who knows how long.

"You know you're family's probably worried sick" Max announced after we had finally gotten control of ourselves.

"Oh crap!" I yelled jumping to my feet "My family!" For the first time I noticed my surroundings we were in the woods across the street from my house I was positive, I had spent my entire childhood here playing with Iggy.

"You have to go" Max said sadly "quickly you have to get back to your family" I nodded

"Sadikki-"she started her voicing cracking tears welling up in her eyes

"I know" I whispered I walked forward and hugged her tightly. She sobbed into my shoulder and I held her.

"Faith" I whispered, Max nodded and tried to regain her composure wiping the tears away.

"Come on you have to go" she said

"Not without this" I said leaning forward I cradled her head in my hand and kissed her, it felt good to do it again.

"Wow cheesy much" she said grinning as I pulled away

"Only when I'm with you" I responded.

We walked hand in hand to the edge of the woods

"I'm not sure how much of this I'm going to remember when I grow up" max said staring me in the eyes

"I'll remember" I said hugging her

"You better" she said into my shoulder before pulling away and staring at me again

"You're going to have to tell me everything and Sadikki, don't leave her out ok?"

I smiled and nodded "I wouldn't dream of it" I announced. Max handed me a piece of paper

"This has the directions to everything you need to do to save your mom and your life" she said.

After all that had happened I had totally forgotten the whole meaning of what this was all about. I took the letter and nodded before shoving it into my pocket.

We stood at the edge of the woods neither of us wanting to leave.

"You're not really Iggy's cousin are you?" I asked

She bit her lip looking up at me,

"I'm a time traveler" she whispered "family is a relative term"

"What does that mean?"

"It means, the world works in mysterious ways"

I gave up, I'm sure I would have plenty of time to get it out of the Max from this time period.

"And what about your dad?" I asked "why do you hate him so much, why did you think he sent Sadikki?"

Max sighed looking up at the sky for a moment before turning back to me "he's a scientist, technically my step dad. We used to fight all the time, but suddenly he decided he wanted to make amends, so he let me use the time travel liquid. He used to use me for experiments, he'd send stuff after me to see how I would we react. I just figured he was the one who had done it"

I stared at her

"And your brother?" I asked

"Died in a car accident" she muttered

I wrapped my arm around her and held her tight. We stood like that for a long time before she pulled away.

"Time for you to go lover boy" she said with a sad smile

I nodded and started to walk out of the woods

"Fang?" she called after me, I turned around. "Just don't give up on me, promise?"

I grinned "wouldn't dream of it"

"Well then see you in the future sweetheart" she said flashing one last grin before turning on her heel and disappearing with one last flash of light.

Max P.O.V.

I landed in the back yard of my house

"FAITH" I muttered, sinking to my knees and suddenly I was on my back laughing my head off. I lay there all afternoon wondering what kind of new memories would appear after all of that.

Fang P.O.V.

I left the woods walking up to the front door of my house. Plastered on it was a missing child poster with my picture on it. I winced how long had I been gone?

I pulled the poster off the door and rang the doorbell. It swung open almost immediately to reveal Nudge she gaped at me.

"Hi, I hear there's a reward for this missing child" I said. Her eyes if possible widened even more. Suddenly she was screaming and hugging me as hard as she could.

"What's going on what's wrong?!" my mother came running out of the kitchen brandishing a pot. She too gaped at me and flew forward to hug me. Then Angel came pounding down the stairs to join in.

Time skip to after tearful reunion

My mother demanded to know what happened and as it turned out Max had written me an entire cover story on the paper she had given me. I was forced to go down to the police station and re-give my report.

After that my mother made me go lie down in bed and even brought me dinner on a tray. My insides squirmed with guilt but I pushed it down. It was worth being missing for a little while if it kept your mother from dying. It turned out actually that I had been gone for 3 weeks, and the police hadn't found a single clue as to where I had gone in all that time.

At around 9:30 I heard the doorbell and my mother arguing loudly with someone that sounded suspiciously like Iggy.

"Just 10 minutes! "I heard my mother yell "no more!"

Iggy burst into my room followed by Max.

"Jesus Christ man I thought you were dead!" he rushed forward pulling up a chair

"What happened are you alright?"

I retold my fake story for the 3rd time that day feeling extremely guilty. Iggy looked relived

"Your mom was pissed the police couldn't find anything it was like you vanished off the face of the earth" he said "actually Max was a big help scaring the police into doing what she wanted" he said with a grin

I glanced at Max who shrugged looking embarrassed.

"Iggy get out of my house!" my mother yelled up the stairs "Fang needs rest"

I sighed and Iggy grinned "call me and let me know if you need anything" with that he left.

Max turned to follow him but I called after her

"Wait a minute" i said

She stared at me

"Do you still hate me?" I asked. She paused

"I never really hated you "she began "I just….i mean there's something different about you"

I nodded

"Well see you around" I said she smirked

"If you're lucky" she said heading out

She still didn't completely like me, but that was ok,

I can wait. Because I will never give up on Max, that much I had promised.

I also learned something that summer from a strange little girl named Sadikki, "Always have faith in your dreams and someday your rainbow will come shining through"

Oh wait that's Disney, the point is…. Actually you know what this entire story is now ruined. I can't even continue, lets skip ahead to today.

That's it my longest chapter ever. There's just one more left if I get a few reviews ill have the last one up tomorrow. Sorry about the ending it was just way to cheesy and weird so I decided to lighten the mood a tad.
