Prompt: Pressure

Hugo tilted his head down, a frown etched upon his face. His shaggy red hair fell into his eyes, blocking his view of the textbook he was reading. Well… reading wasn't the right word, more like trying to read. He had read the same passage at least five different times, and he still didn't understand it.

Truth was, Hugo often struggled with his studies. He was afraid to tell anyone though, so he often suffered in silence. It was hard when your mother was the Hermione Granger, now Weasley, the brightest witch of her age. No one understood the pressure that came along with having a parent like that.

People looked at Rose and saw she was a prodigy. They then looked at him, expecting the same thing.

But it just wouldn't happen. He wasn't good with school, and took after his father; he'd rather spend his time outdoors playing Quidditch.

But the pressure to do good was starting to suffocate him. He honestly didn't know how much longer he could struggle in silence.

Hugo Weasley was in over his head, and wasn't quite sure how he'd get out.
