The Christmas spirit was all over the city, even with the high tempter, Christmas is still Christmas and everyone seems happy all the time, lights already fill the city and now was more fun walk at night just to see them.
Steve and Kono usually spend the last days walk at night with Kyla, Steve enjoy carry her around the town, she keep amazing him all the time, she was such a smart, young baby and he couldn't be more proud of her.
Gymnastic turns out to be the great thing they did for Kyla, she seems to really love it, and coach says to Kono that Kyla could go far if she trains hard, because the little girl seems to like it very much… Kono wasn't very pleased with it, because she know that gymnastics is a very dangerous sport and Kyla could get seriously injured if she got into the elite program, but like Steve told her, Kyla had just started and with the time passing by the would make a decision, but they agreed to let Kyla choose when she was older…
They got home in time for Kyla bedtime, she set her in bed, and Kono seems amazed by the fact, that even after an all-day practice, this girl had still too much energy.
"She's growing up so fast, isn't she?" Kono was now sitting on the Steve's lap.
"It's the first anniversary I have to spend with her!" He says "I lost so much of her life!"
"Don't worry about that, you're here now, and that all that matters" She kissed him "She is such a happy little girl, and that all we ever wanted, right?"
"Sure thing darling" He says "I was thinking about something, but I don't know if you want it?"
"You know I simply love your ideas, what is on your mind?" She kissed him one more time "Fire out!"
"We could spend Christmas at New York, if you want to…"
"Seriously?" She got that brighter smile and kisses him one's more "I love that idea"
"I can book a hotel for us, and Kyla could see snow for the first time… What do you think of it!"
"So New York for Christmas?"
"You can bet that love!" She simply says and she would make sure they have a 'funny' night above them…
The morning came fast, and Kyla was already up when Steve enter her room, he pick her up and kissed her forehead.
"Happy birthday baby"
"Thanks daddy" She said "I'm hungry daddy"
"I know baby, let get something to eat"
While Kono was still asleep she could only stare at Kyla and wonder how lucky he is, for having such a beautiful daughter and a lovely girlfriend like Kono…
