The lady who Mr. Smith kissed was standing behind me, not Marissa. The last person I wanted to be with was her. I'd rather stand in a room with a thousand Daleks then to be with her. I nodded in disgust of course as I opened the door. I frantically searched the room. I explained to her about the importance of the fob watch.

"Is this Doctor important to you?" the woman asked. No one has ever asked me that question.

"This man saved my life. He cares for me more than anything and I care about him. He makes me happy, I love being with him. To answer your question yes he is important to me, more important than Mr. Smith" I nodded satisfied.

"So he's not from here is he?" the woman asked.

"The man you call John Smith was born on another planet"

"What are you to this fairy tale?"

"I'm his lover. His companion, a friend" I smiled at the thought.

"Human I take it?" she sounded disappointed.

"Human, yea, my friend Marissa and I travel with him"

"I must go" she started to walk towards the doorway.

"If we find that watch we can stop them" I called to her.

"These boys are going to fight and they'll need their nurse, they need me" and with that she was gone. Who needs her anyway? I could find the watch by myself. I search for it everywhere in the room but couldn't find it and decided to give up searching there. I ran around the school to look for Marissa. I found her outside with Mr. Smith and the old lady. The balding man from before was there talking to a little girl. When I looked out, the same little girl from the village was there and she pointed the gun that I held at the man and fired at him. Everyone stared at her. Mr. Smith ordered everyone to put down their guns. It was weird seeing the Doctor with a gun in his hand, he hated guns. We all ran as fast as we could. Mr. Smith, me, Marissa and the old lady. We ran as fast as we could. We hid behind a couple of bushes when we suddenly heard someone calling.

"DOCTOR!" we looked to find the TARDIS standing there surrounded by the family, they kept calling out to the Doctor.

"Come home to us" Jenny called.

"Do you remember what that is? Do you remember it's name?" Marissa asked.

"I've never seen that thing in my life" he replied.

"I'm sorry John, but you wrote about it in your journal, about the blue box"

The old lady was actually trying to help us.

"I don't want to be this Doctor, I want to be John Smith! I want his life, his job and his love isn't he a good man?" Mr. Smith asked on the brink of crying. I wanted to hug him but yet he was being a wimp. I hated the Doctor as a human.

"Yes he is a good man" the lady said.

"But we need the Doctor" I said softly. I was on the brink of crying myself. Mr. Smith ran off and we were following a dirt path.

"This way, I know a place where we can hide" the lady said.

"But we have to keep going"

"Just listen to me for once John." I was starting to like this woman, she's got a little spunk. She lead us to this abandoned house that belonged to the little girl with the red balloon. We all got to settle down. Mr. Smith sat by himself and thought for a moment.

"I have to go to them" he said. The lady shook her head.

"Jade is there anything we can do?" she asked.

"Not without the watch" I answered looking at the floor.

"You two are his companions aren't you supposed to help him? What do you do?" he turned to me.

"What's so special about you? Why does he need you? Do you even do anything for him?" he screamed at me with fear.

"You watch your mouth John Smith! The Doctor is twice the man you'll ever be!" Marissa shouted back.

"We keep him company. He's lonely" I answered sadly.

"And that's what you want me to become?" he looked at me with sadness filled in his eyes. I couldn't stand to look at him, he was wearing the Doctor's face. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"Could it be them?" Marissa asked.

"I'm no expert but I don't think scarecrows knock" I answered. I walked to the door and found a young boy with short blonde hair, he was also wearing a black suit standing there.

"I came to give you this" he handed me the fob watch I was looking for. The love of my life was with this little boy.

"Do you know it's wrong to steal something that's not yours?" I asked. He didnt answer. I let him inside. I grabbed the watch and held it in front of Mr. Smith.

"Hold it, please! I'm begging you!" I asked. All of us stared at him. He looked at the watch.

"No, I'm not opening that." He shook his head.

"I've heard it, it wants to be opened." The little boy said. The little boy explained what he thought about the Doctor.

"He also is waiting to see her again, the girls. He misses them." The little boy turned to me. I smiled and nodded.

"All of you just stop it!" Mr. Smith shouted. The lady pulled out the small journal.

"We got this!" She said looking at Mr. Smith.

"Those are just stories." Mr. Smith said.

"Now we know that's not true." The lady said back. Suddenly, the house shook and everyone gasped. We all ran to the window to see explosions coming from the sky. Mr. Smith grabbed the watch and held it in his hands.

"He's sleeping, he's waiting to wake up." Mr. Smith said.

"Do you hear it? Why was it talking to me?" The little boy asked.

"Oh, it's telepathy." Mr. Smith said and he continued explaining it in complicated detail. It was the Doctor! He was coming back! Marissa and I turned to each other and hugged tightly. Our friend was coming back. The Doctor turned back to Mr. Smith who was shaken.

"Is that how he talks?" Mr. Smith asked looking at me.

"Yes, that's him. Just open the watch and he's back!" I said with hope. I can't wait to see my time lord, the love of my life. He was just a couple of feet away.

"You knew this along and you didn't stop me and her?" He asked.

"He gave me a list of things to do, he didn't think about it then. Please, the man I love is n there! We need him! " I answered.

"That didn't occur to him? What sort of a man is that?" He asked.

"That's the man I fell in love with. The reason why he didn't think of it was because he was in love with me at the time." I sounded more confident than ever! I hope the Doctor could hear me. I feel like I'm doing something for once instead of being in the background or being captured.

"You want me to die?" Mr. Smith asked on the brink of crying. He was starting to get on my nerves.

"It was always going to end. The Doctor says that the family needs unlimited life and that's why they need to consume the life of a time lord!" I was filled with fury, why won't this man listen to me? Why was the Doctor's human form such an idiot? I turned to Marissa who had the confident look saying "you go girl!"

"So your job is to execute me?" He looked into my eyes.

"People are dying out there!" Marissa sounded like he was getting on her nerves too. I bet she misses the Doctor too, but no one misses him like I do.

"They need him, I, we need him! Cause you have NO idea what he's like. I met him recently and he's been nothing but kind to me and Jade. He cares about us, about this planet."

"He's fun and adventurous. I'll admit I thought he was weird at first but then I saw what an amazing man he was. He loves my friend here more than life itself. I don't know what he thinks about me but I would do anything for him." Marissa's speech was amazing, I loved her for that. There was a moment of silence for a brief second. Another loud bang came from outside. Mr. Smith looked at the watch.

"I could give them this! I'll give them what they want!" He said handing the watch out in the open. No way was he giving my time lord to them.

"Then this would all end in destruction." The lady said still holding the journal. The lady asked us to leave the two of them alone. I know what they are going to talk about. She's going to convince him to not turn, so that she could stay with him forever. I won't let that happen, I'll open the watch myself if I have to. I closed my eyes once we were outside. I imagined the Doctor, my time lord. Standing in front of me with his hand patting my head. He then leaned and kissed me. I opened my eyes and saw Mr. Smith standing in front of me. He had a big smile on his face, the Doctor's smile, my favorite smile. It was killing me to see him wearing it.

"Hello there love, Did you miss me?" Mr. Smith laughed. But it wasn't Mr. Smith. It was the Doctor, my time lord, the love of my life. I couldn't believe it. I turned to Marissa who had a huge smile on her face as well. It was really him. I embraced the Doctor. Not caring if it was so hard that's it made us fall in the dirt. I kissed him a thousand times. I didn't care if the other woman was watching, I wanted her to know that he was mine again. Mine, mine, mine. I was so caught up that I completely forgot that he had to stop the family of blood. I unfortunately let him stand up. He grabbed my hand to pull me to my feet.

"It's good to see you girls again." He said as he hugged the both of us. He turned to me and grabbed my chin with his thumb and finger.

"We'll continue later alright darling?" He kissed my lips and ran off into the night. He was back, this felt so good. I turned to Marissa and the two of us giggled with delight. The old lady came out with a sad look on her face. When I turned to her she gave me a half smile. I walked over to her, leaving Marissa behind. I honestly didn't care what this woman said anymore, the Doctor was back.

"So he really does love you." She said looking down. I paced my hand on her shoulder.

"You know, I wished that we were friends. I bet if the Doctor wasn't involved we would've been." The two of us chuckled. This was the first time we actually laughed together. I waved for Marissa to come over here.

"So where are you two going after all of this is done?" The lady asked. Marissa and I looked a each other.

"We honestly don't know, the Doctor takes us anywhere we like or he'll take us to some place he'll think of at the top of his head. We don't care where, we trust him with our lives, he's our best friend." Marissa answered with confidence.

"Maybe he'll ask you to come along." I said with a big smile in my face. Though I wouldn't want her to come, it's the thought that counts.

"No, he'll be wearing his face, I couldn't bare it."

"That's how I felt about the Doctor and Mr. Smith. He was wearing the Doctor's face." With that, the lady went back inside. Marissa, the little boy and I waited outside for the Doctor to get back. After a couple of hours, the Doctor came for Marissa and I. It was starting to get light out, the horrible night finally passed. He was wearing his traditional brown suit and trench coat. He kissed my forehead and Marissa's hand. He had a serious look on his face that scared me a little but. He went inside the house for awhile. He was probably making final farewells to the old lady. Good, I was ready to leave. To change back into my old clothes, clothes that fit me perfectly. Oh how I miss my old clothes. The Doctor came back out and grabbed our hands, leaving the little boy by the house. Marissa and I turned around to wave. The Doctor held onto us tightly. Not letting us go.

"I missed you girls terribly." The Doctor said with a big smile.

"I didn't miss you." I teased. Marissa turned to me with one eye brow raised.

"What? Come on Jade, you cried almost every day! 'Oh Marissa, I miss my time lord. I miss the Doctor. I hate that woman for taking the love of my life away!" Marissa mocked. I glared at her and started to chase her. The Doctor laughed out of control and ran with us. We ran to this big hill where the TARDIS was standing. When we got there, the Doctor grabbed Marissa and I and he pushed us to the ground playfully. The three of us laughed, it was nice to have the three of us back together again.
