DragonShifter: Okay, Here goes the next chapter. Let me know if you guys like it.
Holmes was sitting against one of the platform pillars waiting for his new charges. He was wearing a large bowler hat and a large duster. He had rubbed charcoal over himself, just to make himself seem more blended into the crowd of homeless people that sometimes crowded the train station. He hadn't shaved for a few days, so the unkempt look looked even more realistic. He waited for twenty minutes before the train that carried Martha and her brothers pulled into the station. It took a further fifteen minutes before his charges and their luggage were settled onto the platform. They spotted him within five minutes and made their way to him and threw a few coins at his feet and wished him luck in live. He smiled crookedly and thanked them. As he did so, he pointed his chin down the station to Mycroft, who agreed to help transport the kids to Watson's home. They nodded ever so slightly to show they understood. They headed that way with their luggage.
An hour and a half later found Holmes clean and in the guest room inspecting his newly appointed children. "My you three have grown." He said, placing his chin on his chest. He looked at them as they looked back at him. "Tell me my little wolves, What has caused your old school to worry about you so?" They looked at the floor then at Holmes. "We were suspected of cheating and stealing when we weren't. We didn't have many friends, and no one really liked us because we were smart and got perfect grades. So they accused us of cheating and stealing from them because we were different and smart."
"Ah" Was all Holmes had to say for the trio to look straight at him. "At least you learned from Winnie's mistakes. You guys will still have to go to school." The trio looked startled, then crestfallen. "Please don't look so down. Your parents sent me your school reports, and I believe that Martha is ready for college, and you twins ready for your high schooling. You guys know that Winnie still had to go to school when I became her guardian. So you are too, and the deal I made with her goes for you too." The trio perked up as Holmes knew they would, and He had an inkling as to what they wanted to do. It wasn't going to be too hard to raise them, especially since Watson and Mary where there to help as was Mycroft and Mrs. Hudson.
DragonShifter: I just realized that the last chapter had a discrepancy in it. How would Winnie's parents know that Holmes was alive? I figure that word quietly got around the family, but was not made public due to the taboo of Holmes, Winnie, and Mycroft being too intelligent. Sorry I completely spaced that.
