Deleted Scene
I do not own Supernatural in any way.
A/N-This is a scene that I wrote and really like, but it just doesn't work anywhere. Here you go!
Celeste opened her eyes and found herself lying in a field. She sat up and looked around.
"Bout time you've woken up", a voice said.
She turned her head and saw a boy around her age.
He had shaggy dirty blonde hair and deep brown eyes. "Hello Celeste Deacon, daughter of Gabriel. I am Asher", he said.
"Where am I?" she asked.
"In a very deep sleep", he answered with a boyish smile, "Come along. I have much to show you".
"Where are we going?" she asked.
"Such a curious little fledgling", Asher said, "Now come along. You may release your wings".
Celeste stood up and released her white wings while Asher released his beautiful wings.
They weren't just black; they looked like someone had poured oil on them. They shone with rainbow colors.
"You have made a great sacrifice", Asher observed.
"Yes, for my…father", she said.
"You are uncomfortable in calling Gabriel your father. You still view him as a friend", Asher said.
"Yes", she said, "How do you know so much about me?"
"I have watched you since you were an idea in God's mind", Asher said, "Gabriel was never ordered to watch you. He was there because he wanted to be. Castiel was there because he felt a connection to you. He came to me and I told him about how your life would play out, but I left out the part about your car crash. He saved you because he cared about you".
Celeste stood there.
Asher held his hand out. "Take my hand", he said.
Celeste hesitantly put her hand in Asher's.
They were suddenly standing in New York City.
"Where are we?" Celeste asked.
"Welcome to New York City, 20 years before you were born", Asher said.
"What?! You time traveled us!?" Celeste yelled.
Suddenly, a dark blonde walked past them.
"Gabriel?" she asked. She went up to him and found he couldn't see or hear her. She turned to Asher.
"I am the angel of the past and future. Particularly, your past and future", he said, "Let's follow him".
Asher moved to follow Gabriel.
Gabriel looked the same as he always did, down to the lollipop in his mouth. He walked past a coffee shop, when he stopped. He looked into the window and spotted a woman sitting in the coffee shop sucking on a lollipop.
"Mom", Celeste said standing next to Gabriel.
He smirked and entered the coffee shop. He walked right up to the table where the young woman was sitting reading her book.
She stopped sucking on her lollipop and looked up. "Can I help you?" she asked.
"Did it hurt?" he asked.
"What?" she asked, cocking her head to the side.
Gabriel thought it was awfully adorable.
"When you fell from heaven, cause with a face like that, you gotta be an angel", Gabriel answered.
Both Celeste and her mother rolled their eyes in unison, while smiling.
Tabitha (Celeste's mother) was blushing too and trying not to laugh.
"Cute", she said.
Gabriel smiled.
"Sit down, please", Tabitha said.
Asher snapped his fingers and the scene changed.
"This is 6 months before your birth", he said.
Gabriel was kneeling in front of Tabitha.
"I'm pregnant Gabriel", she said.
"No. No. Not possible", Gabriel said standing up, "This wasn't supposed to happen".
"Well it did and now I'm pregnant", Tabitha said standing up and placing her hands on her hips.
"You don't understand. The baby will be in danger if anyone finds out about it", Gabriel said.
"What is it?" she asked.
Gabriel couldn't find the words so he just released his wings. "I'm an angel. The archangel Gabriel. The one who appeared to Mary and told her she would become pregnant", Gabriel explained, "She'll be a nephilim. If heaven doesn't want her to live, they will send angels to kill you and the baby".
Gabriel walked up to Tabitha and kissed her forehead. "I love you. I also love our baby. Please name her Celeste", Gabriel said.
Tabitha smiled through her tears.
"Try to be happy. Find a man who will treat our baby like his own. Never tell her about me", he said.
She sniffled and nodded.
The fluttering of wings was heard and Gabriel was gone.
Asher turned to Celeste who couldn't believe her eyes.
Gabriel had left for her safety.
"No more", she said, "Please".
"I have one more thing to show you", he said.
He snapped his finger and they were standing in a kitchen.
A future version of Celeste stood by the stove chopping up vegetables and cooking meat.
The front door opened and a dapper looking Castiel entered the house.
"Celeste?" he called.
"In the kitchen sweetheart", she said.
He entered the kitchen and smiled at the sight of his fiancé with her hair thrown up in a messy bun and barefoot.
He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her.
"How was 'work' today?" she asked.
"Tiring. Vampires suck", he said.
"Haha", she said. Celeste turned around in his arms and said, "I have a surprise for you".
"Really?" Castiel asked raising his eyebrows.
She took a pregnancy test out of her pocket and handed it to Castiel.
He looked at it and then back to Celeste.
She bit her lip and nodded.
Castiel gathered her in his arms. "When did you find out?" Castiel asked.
"Few days ago. Gabriel dropped by and told me I was pregnant. You know, he went all messenger angel. I just took this today, because I wanted to show you". Celeste said, "And because I knew you'd be home today".
Castiel stepped back and placed his hand on Celeste's stomach that had begun to swell with the growth of their child. "This calls for some celebrating", Castiel said lifting Celeste up and setting her on the kitchen counter.
"What kind of celebrating?" Celeste asked, cocking her head to the side innocently.
Castiel grinned and said, "Shut-up". He grabbed her chin and kissed her.
"Okay. Enough of that", Asher said snapping his fingers.
They were back in the present time.
"Time to wake up sweetheart", he said placing his finger on her forehead.
Celeste woke up to find Gabriel standing over her bed.
"Have a good sleep?" he asked smirking.
She smacked him with a pillow. "You left. You left my mother", she said with tears in her eyes.
Gabriel sat beside her on the bed. "Sweetheart, I left to protect you. Michael and Raphael would have come after you if I had stayed", he explained, "I loved your mother. Very much. It's such a shame you don't look like her, but you have her attitude. I guess you met Asher".
"Yeah", she said.
"Well obviously he showed you about your mother and I. What else did he show you?" Gabriel was still smirking.
"You knew!" she gasped.
"Course I knew. Why do you think I pushed you two together so much?" Gabriel asked.
Celeste rolled her eyes and set her head on Gabriel's shoulder. "Why didn't you tell me?" Celeste asked him.
"I thought it would ruin our friendship", he said, "I didn't want it to change. I never wanted to be a father".
"I brought Cass back from the dead, why didn't you do that my mother?" she asked, "If you loved her so much".
"Because I don't mess with fate", he said, "She can be a real bitch".
