She lunged at me with what seemed like a wild attack. I quickly side stepped her and smirked. My plan is working after all, I thought to myself as the purple haired kunoichi hurtled past me.

But, more quickly than I had expected, Anko landed, pivoted and jumped right at me again. She was much faster than I had initially thought. All of a sudden, I saw a glint of metal in her hand. Holy hell, she brought out a damned kunai in a sparring match.

I quickly drew my own kunai and parried her attack. Right after I parried it, Anko dropped down and kicked my feet right out from under me.

That's when I realized my stupid mistake; I'd completely underestimated her. Of course I'd known that she was a competent fighter. But I never knew that she was actually this competent.

When I hit the ground, I rolled backwards before flipping myself back onto my feet. Almost immediately, Anko dashed towards me while slashing and stabbing with her kunai. I back pedaled as fast as I could but ended up backing into a tree.

All of a sudden, her kunai was thrust towards my face. I was just barely able to avoid it so that it impaled itself on the tree behind me.

After a small, and silent, sigh of relief I roughly shoved her backwards to give myself some breathing room.

She glared at me as if thinking that I actually had some nerve to avoid that kunai….

"If you're planning to beat me…now's the time to actually get serious." She said in a dangerous voice, her eyes never leaving me. Right after she said that, she crouched and prepared to lunge at me once again.

That look she had at the moment was a look that a predator had when hunting its prey. But, little did this predator know that the hunter was about to become the hunted.

Without any prior indication of what I was about to do, I lunged at her. I struck with quick and precise strikes, my kunai blurring with the speed at which I used it.

Although she was initially surprised that I'd actually attacked her first, she quickly parried not just one or two, but all of my strikes.

All of a sudden, I found myself in a desperate striking battle with the kunoichi. Stab, stab, parry, dodge, slash, leap, strike, parry, strike, parry and start all over again.

It was a dangerous and at the same time enchanting dance as we fought there locked in seemingly mortal combat. It was odd how, during this time, I noticed many small things about her. I noticed that she was slightly flushed from the exertion. I noticed that the nails on her fingers that held her kunai were slightly long and needed a cutting. I even noticed that her trench coats collar had a small stain, which I presume is dango sauce.

Time to end this, I thought, before someone gets hurt.

Right before our kunais struck, I infused my kunai with lightning element chakra. When our kunais met, it sent a small, but still painful, surge of lightning into anko's kunai.

She yelped and quickly dropped her kunai.

As I moved forward to capitalize on my temporary advantage she raised her hand and out came about a dozen snakes.

I quickly leaped back and made several hand seals. I took a deep breath and blew out a ball of fire, Katon: Gokaryu no Jutsu.

The snakes were quickly consumed by the fire and burned to ashes…but damn did burning snake skin smell horrible.

After the smoke dissipated, Anko was nowhere in sight. I closed my eyes and concentrated. The smoke was clouding my sense of smell but…there, I heard a large object moving in from above.

I opened my eyes and jumped to the left, throwing a couple of shuriken as I went. A moment later I heard metal clanking off of metal as Anko deflected them using shuriken of her own.

I let out a breath and thought for a short while. When was the last time I'd fought such an opponent in a friendly sparring match? It would probably have been Guy.

Then again, Guy was very, very different from Anko. First of all Guy was rather predictable. He only used tai-jutsus for one. He always had to close in on you. Admittedly though his attack patterns were very varied and complex. But at least by knowing that he absolutely had to get close to me gave me a slight advantage when it came to planning a fight.

Now Anko on the other hand was completely unpredictable. She attacked with calculated ferocity and skill. Sometimes using more powerful but less accurate swings and smoothly transitioning into quick and accurate jabs.

She was a tough opponent, even for me. But, I could still handle her, even without my sharingan. Though she was harder to predict compared to Guy, she was slower and less powerful as well.

She growled…not just a regular angry growl but an animalistic and wild one. I looked into her eyes and what I saw there chilled me. She had there a look of bloodlust. I could feel the urge to kill just radiating off of her.

She was lost in it. She was drunk on the desire to kill. When I saw her like that, I knew that reasoning with her would be pointless.

Enough is enough I decided. If this escalated any further, it would result in only one outcome: Death.

I pulled up my headband and opened my eye to reveal my sharingan.

With an animalistic roar, she threw herself at me once more. But this time, her attempts were completely futile. I predicted everything that she was going to do.

With barely any effort, I knocked her unconscious with a swift yet heavy chop to the back of her neck.

After making sure that she was unconscious, I picked her up bridal style and carried her back to my apartment.

Of course I just poofed back to the apartment. It would have been quite weird to carry her back on foot.

After unlocking the door, I gently placed her on my bed and waited for he to regain consciousness.
