Master awesome: I know, I took way too long to publish this chapter. In my defense, I am drowning in homework right now... in fact I probably should be doing that instead of this but I will not keep you guys waiting for any longer!
Like I said, this chapter took too long and I suck. Now that we've covered that, let's get to the actual chapter!
(P.S. Does anyone else think that Frank is going to die in the new book? I mean just read the Son of Neptune people, it's so obvious! I love his character, but after he dies maybe then Hazel and Leo will get together... ^.^ Sorry, I'm a big fan of Lazel... No offense to the Frazel fans)
"No suggestions? Well, then... I guess I should do..."
"... Past Power."
"Past power?" Piper tilted her head. "What?"
"Oh I already used in another episode, but this time I'm going to use it for getting you two together again, and not breaking Travis and...I mean, um, other people apart."
"So you're the one who made Travis and Katie so mad at eachother. I could hear them shouting at eachother from my cabin." Jason complained.
Aphrodite shook her head, a grin plastered on her face. She pointed at the TV and snapped her fingers. "Just do what your generation seems to be experts at doing and watch the television!"
Piper was about to protest, but her mouth snapped shut when she saw what the crowd was watching. It was the memory from the bus. Her thoughts ran at the bottom of the screen like captions for a movie.
Her cheeks went pink. No one was really talking, and so she had been thinking about her and Jason's first kiss.
Mostly about when she was going to get another one.
She could hear some laughter fromt he audience, some 'awww' -ing, and her blush got impossibly worse.
Jason was smiling softly, his own face slightly red but otherwise he was keeping his cool. He looked almost... pleased?
"I think we've seen enough of that." Aphrodite smirked at the two demi-god's expressions and snapped again. This time it was Jason's point of view.
Jason knew what the memory was within a split second. He had just finished playing basketball, and he was watching Piper come out of the Big House.
"...she's so pretty. I wonder if I can ever get up the guts to ask her out. I don't care about Reyna the way I used to, thanks to Juno, and maybe if I can be the brave guy she thinks I am I can get up the guts to ask her out. But why would she ever want to date me? She's so perfect..."
This time the crowd was cheering. Either they agreed with Jason or they needed some excitement.
Aphrodite figured it was the latter. She needed some romance action, and fast.
Piper and Jason were avoiding eye contact, though. She could see that the only think holding them back from spilling out their emotions was a tiny little wall.
She needed to break it down.
"Okay, boys and girls, here's where things might get interesting." Aphrodite clapped her hands, and everything went dark. There was a split second of pitch darkness, and then she clapped them again and the lights came back on.
Now Piper was really blushing. When the lights had turned off, she had been teleported to Jason's chair. She was now being forced to sit on his lap.
"Mph." Jason squirmed slightly, his mouth full of Piper's hair. This was not how he had planned on spending his day.
"Mom. Get me off of him." Piper said through gritted teeth.
"Not until you two talk this out."
Jason spit out a few strands. "She's right."
Piper sighed in defeat. "Fine. Go ahead Grace, convince me that I'm wrong."
"You're not wrong. It was awful of me not to admit to Reyna right away that we were going out. I can't believe I did it myself. It was a cowardly move. I'm not telling you you're wrong, I'm going to ask you to forgive me."
Piper did her best to turn around and look Jason in the eye. "I do forgive you."
The crowed cheered. Piper leaned down and captured Jason's lips in a soft kiss.
Aphrodite smiled. She was always right.
