"Yellow-senpai! Yellow-senpai! Please, wait!" Gold called out as he followed her on his bike.

But Yellow wasn't letting up one bit. She pedalled and she pedalled. She doesn't care anymore. She doesn't want to hear anything after her heart got broken. Tears ran down from her cheeks and she cried like she'd never cried before. The words that Red told her were like daggers that directly stabbed her heart. She continued to pedal away until a bump caused her to fall down from her bike.

"Yellow-senpai! Are you okay?!" called out Gold, who went immediately to Yellow's side.

Yellow continued to cry as pain and grief consumed her and all of that is because of Gold. Gold is the one that caused this. She vented out all her anger and frustration at Gold, who have suddenly hugged her like he cared, crying out while pounding on his chest.

Gold took all of Yellow's blows. He knew that he had caused this to his senior and although he did want to get Red, he didn't want it to be like this. So what he did was take all of Yellow's frustrations inside him so at least he could feel how his senior felt. What could he do other than that?

"Fuck you, Gold! Fuck you!" Yellow cried out.

Gold was surprised that his senior could even talk like that. For all he knows, she's the kindest and sweetest person among the dex holders. He just realized how immense her senior's anger was to him. It was so intense that even a girl as sweet as her could cry out curses at him like it wasn't her first time doing it.

After Yellow finally calmed down, Gold led her to the side of the road and they both sat there. Gold wanted some closure with Yellow. After all, he's the one who broke them up and got her senior's now ex-boyfriend.

"Yellow-senpai, please, listen to me," Gold said as he wiped a tear from Yellow's cheeks. "I want to say sorry. Sorry for the pain I caused you. Sorry for getting Red-senpai from you. But I hope you understand. I love him. And as the same as you, I would do anything just to be with him."

He said this as frankly as he possibly could. He's not going to lie anymore and he wants to make his point very clear. He wants Yellow to understand that he truly does love Red and he would fight for him come hell or high water.

Yellow stared straight at him, with eyes still somehow swollen, but she could see in Gold's amber eyes just how much the olive-haired boy was in love with Red. Just as much as her, or maybe, even more.

"You may probably hate me for this, but I don't care," Gold continued, now staring at the clear blue sky above them, "I just want you to accept us, me and Red-senpai, being together. I know that this must be the most ridiculous and offensive thing that I have said and requested you, but I really want to still be friends with you."

Yellow thought of Gold's proposition for a while. Of course it offended her when Gold asked to accept him and Red to be together but it seemed as if Gold's words were really genuine. There was no hint of anything malicious on it and it really showed just how much love he has for Red and how much he values their friendship.

Yellow sighed. It was her defeat. And although she discovered that ultimately, Red loved Gold more than her, she was still thankful to have both known both of them and be by her side. Even now, after Gold had hurt her, he still went after her, just showing that he really does care.

"Gold... I'm sorry too..." Yellow finally speaks, "It just really broke my heart that Red said that, to my face even. And I couldn't help but be angry with you as well because after all, you took my boyfriend from me..."

Gold looked at his senior who had somehow finally spoken to him, not with a very aggressive tone but like how she talked to him in the past and this relieved him. He breathed out a sigh of relief.

"But Gold..." Yellow continued, "What about him? You know that he's waiting for you, right? He already confessed to you and all."

Gold turned his head down. He knows who Yellow was talking about. He admits that he had a crush on him when they first met but along the way, things have just gotten sour between them. Eventually, he had hurt him most and even though he said sorry and confessed to him, it just wasn't enough anymore. The spark was gone. Though he did say to wait for an answer, it's just Gold's way of saying not to expect anymore, but of course, he, up until now, is still waiting for Gold.

"I just... I feel like it's not going to work out between us..." Gold told his senior, "and through all those times, when he was beginning to hurt me, the one who comforted me the most was Red-senpai."

"I see... So from the beginning, Red really did care for you, huh? Well, this sucks," Yellow said with a stifled laugh at the end. "Well, it looks like I really lost this time. Take care of Red, Gold, and make sure that he will be happy."

Yellow then stood up placed both her hands on Gold's cheeks. She then placed her lips on Gold's forehead and gave him a kiss, making the olive-haired boy look at her stupidly and blush.

"Come on, Gold," Yellow said with a laugh, "Don't be blushing now. You already have Red. It's bad to two-time you know."

Yellow then ran back to the road and got her bike up.

"Well then, Gold. Good luck and take care!" Yellow said as she sped off, waving back at her junior.

As his senior finally vanished from the horizon, Gold couldn't help but smile.

'She really is kind. If this were to happen much earlier, I could've gone and scooped her up myself...'

With that, Gold propped up his bike and went back to his home, to where his beloved senior is waiting for him.

After a few minutes, Gold finally came back home. He parked the bike by the stairs to the porch and quickly went inside the house, rushing to the living room to find his beloved senior still there, dazed and sitting upright like he left him. It was good that no one saw him in that state. He instantly gave a peck on the cheek to his beloved senior. So many things happened today and every problem he had has been resolved. Now, the only thing left to do is release Red from the hypnosis and hope for the best that in the end, he would confess to him.

He then clothed Red, who was still naked after the ordeal. After all, it would be really awkward if Red woke up with no clothes. After everything has been set, Gold gave a final kiss to his senior and finally snapped his fingers. Red's eyes flickered for a moment until it turned back to its lively ebony color.

Red still looked dazed as Gold saw him and thought it was just fatigue so he left him be for a while. He was tired himself and would like to be fresh when Red finally comes to so he went upstairs first and took a shower, leaving Red by the sofa.

"I'll be back, Red-senpai," Gold told his senior as he went up.

Red felt like he was hit by a truck and his head really hurt so much. He let his eyes wander for a while, thinking of where he was until it finally registered that he was at Gold's. But as he finally gains consciousness, he felt a sting right at his heart and tears just escaped his eyes. He didn't know what happened but he just got this aching feeling that he did something bad. He doesn't know what or who may be affected about what he did but he just felt terrible. So terrible that the only thing ringing inside his ears were to commit suicide about what he did.

He felt really bad. He tried to remember about what he had done but he couldn't. He thought that maybe it was just so terrible that it's really not worth remembering but the pain in his heart was telling him that it really was bad.

At a loss about what he had done, he stood up and slowly walked outside with tears still flowing down his cheeks. Maybe it is just right that he should die, he thought. But he wouldn't kill himself in his friend's home. For what terrible things he did, he wouldn't want anyone knowing about his death, not even his friends, and especially, not Gold. Maybe that's why he was at Gold's. For all he knew, maybe he ran there to escape and Gold offered him shelter.

If only it hadn't come to this, he could've been happy staying at Gold's, he thought.

But all of this had to end and even though he doesn't know why, there's this thing that kept telling him to go die. As he continued to walk to what he thought as the most perfect place to die, he kept having regrets. He looked back one last time at Gold's home before leaving and wished that he should've talked to Gold first. Maybe he could've saved him. He hadn't even confessed to him, the one person that he loved so much, and now he's going to end his life just like that.

"Well, it wouldn't matter now anyway," Red said to himself, "...but I do want to at least kiss him before I die..."

Gold finally finished his bath and quickly fixed himself up after. He was just so excited to be with Red. He had thought that maybe he should make the first move and surprise Red or he could just kiss Red right when he comes down. He's like an excited little school girl on a field trip. But when he went down, he found that Red wasn't in the living room.

"Red-senpai? Where are you?" he called out.

But no one answered his calls. He suddenly felt worried.

"Where could have Red-senpai gone?" he said to himself.

When he turned to his side, he found the door slightly open. Maybe he just went outside to get some fresh air? He then rushed outside to look for him but he was nowhere to be found. Incidentally though, he found Crystal who was just about to enter her house with a bag of groceries.

"Crystal! Crystal!" Gold called out. He leapt from the porch and ran to his neighbour.

"Oh, Gold!" Crystal called back cheerfully, "What's up?"

Gold wheezed and panted, catching his breath first before finally being able to reply.

"Have you seen Red-senpai?" Gold asked with a worried face.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I've seen him. What's up?" Crys asked.

Gold's face suddenly lightened up. He really thought something bad happened to Red.

"Do you know where he is?" Gold asked, not seeming to mind the question that Crystal asked him.

"Hm... I think I saw him heading for Tohjo Falls. I called out to him when I saw him but he looked really lost in thought and didn't seem to notice me. What nerve, huh? By the way, is something the matter? Why are you so worked-up?"

Tohjo Falls? What could Red be doing at Tohjo Falls, he thought. There's nothing but a dead-end there.

"Okay, Crys. Thanks!" Gold thanked his neighbour.

He then rushed back to his house to get his bike and then pedalled swiftly to Tohjo Falls. He couldn't help but get worried because there is an inkling feeling inside of him telling him that something bad is going to happen, he's just hoping he was wrong.

"Hey! Wait a minute!" Crys called out as Gold went past by her. "Is something wrong?"

But Gold didn't answer back and just headed straight to Tohjo Falls. Crys became very suspicious but didn't mind it. It was Gold after all, he could handle everything. But a little caution wouldn't do any hurt. After going inside her place and putting down her groceries by the kitchen, she picked up the phone and called the only person that would only care when it comes to matters concerning Gold.

"Hello there, Silver!" Crys greeted cheerfully.

Gold was midway to Tohjo Falls. He kept on thinking why on earth would Red go there. The only place he thought that Red would be going is either his home or Mount Silver. He racked his mind about why would Red suddenly go to Tohjo Falls when it suddenly dawned on him. And when he finally knew why Red would go to there, he pedalled as fast as he could, as fast as anyone.

'Shit! Red is gonna kill himself! I have to stop him! Please god let me reach him!'

He remembered, though not intentionally, that Yellow, in her fit, told Red to 'go die.' That's why he's feeling that something was off. He hadn't thought that Red would recognize that as a command and that he'd really do it. But what could he do now that he removed the hypnosis from him? He couldn't just put Red on trance again and tell him to not follow the orders. And how the heck could he explain something like that in this situation?

When he finally reached Tohjo Falls, he finally caught to Red who was inching closer to the edge of the twin falls that separated Kanto and Johto.

"Red-senpai! Don't do it!" Gold called out.

Gold leapt from his bike and ran as fast as he could to Red but as he went closer, Red himself stopped him.

"No, Gold. Stop right there. This is for the best."

Gold stopped the instant Red told him. From the looks of Red, he was really serious on jumping off the falls. If he ever did as to inch closer, maybe Red could've jumped.

"Stop it, Red! Don't do this!" Gold cried out, now with tears flowing down his cheeks.

"And why shouldn't I?" shouted Red, his voice barely audible from the raging falls, "I feel like I have done something terrible. This pain in my chest... it just won't go out. I feel so terrible... and the worst part, I don't even know what I did! This really sucks, huh?"

Gold could see Red was also crying. He really felt bad about what Red is going through. This is all his fault. If anything, he should be the one jumping off of Tohjo Falls and not him. He's the one who put him through all of this. But that doesn't matter now though, he has to save Red somehow.

"No, Red! You've done nothing wrong! Please, Red! Don't do this! Come to me... please... I love you!"

Red let out a snicker.

"That's funny... the last thing I'm gonna hear before I die is that one phrase I've always wanted to hear from you. I love you too, Gold, and that's why I'm gonna do this. I don't want to hurt anyone anymore, and especially you. Please, take care of yourself."

With that one last statement, Red closed his eyes then smiled.

'I have no more regrets,' Red thought, 'Gold loves me back. I could die right about now.'

And with that, Red finally jumped.
