With a miserable sigh, Raivis stepped off the bus and started walking toward the main building of this chalked up day care for pre teens. He had been debating weather or not to avoid Peter today. On one hand he craved to find comfort in his boyfriend's arms, but on the other he wanted to be alone and not be asked any questions today.

Fate made up his mind for him though when Peter found the Latvian, the boy was waiting and searching for him. Peter nearly tackled the older teen to the ground from the force of his hug, appearing out of nowhere.

"Rai~ I missed you!" He nuzzled into Raivis' chest happily, like they hadn't seen each other in weeks and not a mere few days.

"I-I'm sorry Peter. I w-was...sick." He winced lightly at the powerful hug, but it was nothing to him really. Slender fingers ran through Peter's short blond hair, Raivis' other free arm went around the younger's waist.

Never one to turn down affection, Peter returned it ten fold. He cuddled up to the Latvian even more, glad that he wasn't worried about PDA for once. "Are you feeling better today than?"

"Better than yesterday." Raivis sighed. He wished he could have just gone home and taken Peter with him. Peter was his last comfort and he was running dangerously low on it.

"Are you sure?" Peter looked up at him and the worry in those stormy eyes made the Latvian feel guilty. He didn't want the younger teen to worry about him. "You don't look so good..."

"I'm fine, just takes awhile for it to pass. I'm okay now and its the weekend so I can just sleep the rest of it off." He rested his chin on Peter's shoulder, lightly nuzzling.

"Well I hope you do then! It's too bad that your parents are so stingy and don't let people over, cause than I could come take care of you! I'd make you all better!" Peter kissed his cheek, glad to see a smile creeping on to his boyfriend's face.

"I would like that so much." Raivis sighed, pulling his head back up. "Can...Can I have a kiss? I promise not to get you sick."

Peter smiled brightly, standing up some on his toes to close the distance that kept them apart. The kiss felt so different today, Peter felt something almost sad in the way Raivis responded. So Peter tried to bury it in his affections, pouring his heart into the kiss and he could feel Raivis responding to it gladly.

"Mm, I don't even care if I get sick, that was so worth it~" Peter grinned, his heart lifting when Raivis smiled back. "You are so cute."

Raivis blushed. "W-What? Oh hush." He looked away embarrassed, even after all these months they've been dating and he still wasn't used to Peter's compliments.

"You know I won't~ Oh! Yea, while you were gone, I meet these two really cool helper guys. I think you'll like them. And! They are from the Nordics! It's so cool!" Peter gushed, grabbing the Latvian's hand, dragging him off in search of his new friends.

"O-Oh? Teachers from the program?"

"Nah, they're students, high schoolers, apart of some big brother volunteer thing." Peter shrugged, waving over two older blonds.

"Hi Tino! Hi Berwald!" Peter chirped when they reached them.

"Hello sweetie~ How are you doing today?" The Finnish boy asked, ruffling the smaller blond's hair playfully.

Peter laughed and ducked out of reach, grinning up at the taller teen. "I'm great! Rai's here today!" He proclaimed, pulling the Latvian out in front of him as if showing him off.

"H-Hello..." Raivis greeted shyly, squeaking and rushing behind Peter after seeing another teen towering behind Tino, giving off such a menacing glare. "W-Who is t-that guy!?" He whispered scared.

"Eh heh, oh no, don't mind Berwald, he's harmless, really." Tino explained, not liking the deflated look coming across his boyfriend's face.

"Yea, Ber is cool guy, Raivis. He just looks like that cause he's always having really intense thoughts." Peter nodded in the Swede's defense.

"Aww~" Tino cooed, he was rather impressed how much Peter had picked up on so quickly about Berwald, that had taken him so long to figure out. Peter was such a bright kid.

"O-Oh...okay.." Raivis was still too scared to come out from his hiding place, the guy was so tall and intimidating, the Swede reminded him far too much of a certain Russian student he had to deal with. He kept behind his younger boyfriend, clutching the back of his shirt.

Berwald decided the best way to stop scaring the new boy was to just stop staring at him. He knew he had a very frighteningly intense expression usually and didn't want to drive away Peter's friend. The Swede was trying so hard to show Tino that he could be good with kids.

After high school they were going to move out on the money they have both saved up since they were kids. They we always able to find little jobs and do work for parents or their parents friends; and since neither of them went out much or had reasons to spend money they had a lot saved up. With that they were going to get a nice little place together and start collage. After getting good jobs and settling in they were going to get married finally, it would be a beautiful wedding. When they could, they would adopt a child, maybe even two. Berwald felt it should be two, neither he or Tino had any siblings and that could be so lonely.

Berwald's daydream of their life was picture perfect and he knew they weren't expectations that were out of reach. With them working together, Tino and he had always found ways to get over anything. When Tino was finally his wife, nothing could ruin anything for the Swede. It was all he had wanted since he had met the adorable Finn.

"Berwald?" Tino's voice interrupted the older teen's day dreams, blinking to attention. "Heh, what were you thinking about?"

"Uh..." Berwald blushed lightly, not wanting to let Tino know about half of the things he came up with about their life together. It was embarrassing and Tino still didn't enjoy him referring to the shorter blond as his wife. It wasn't like he was degrading him or thought of him as a woman, it was just something he thought of one day and it stuck. Beside, Tino would make the perfect wife.

"Well?"

"N'thing." He mumbled, looking away.

"Berwald! I wanted to know something..." Peter went into another large stem of questions for the older teen, dragging him off to a bench so they could sit while they talked.

"Oh gosh, again with that." Raivis mumbled, smiling affectionately watching him talking the scary teen to death. The Latvian noticed a slight uncomfortable look on the otherwise frightening expression.

"Berwald is really a big softie." Tino explained, noticing the younger teen's appreciate. "You just need to get know him better before you start picking up on things about him. Took me almost forever to stop screaming like a little girl when he came up behind me suddenly." The Finn laughed, remembering how silly he had been.

"O-Oh...I'm sorry...I'm j-just really, skiddish, you'd say..." Raivis mumbled. "How l-long have you known h-him?" He didn't feel very comfortable around strangers, but Peter seemed to like them and Peter was a great judge of character...so far.

"Oh Berwald and me go way back, since elementary school if I remember correctly. He was so shy and he's never been the talkive type. But we've been best friends for so many years and have been...ah...very close." He laughed nervously, Tino never cared about dating another boy, oh no not a boy, Berwald was a man. He just never knew how other people would react and didn't want to cause any problems at this job.

Raivis raised a brow in question of that weird pause, but just nodded. It sounded a like a great friendship, he had never known any one person for that long other than his parents. The Latvian felt like he had known Peter for so much longer than a few months though, it was inexpiable. Peter just seemed to know him on levels he didn't know how the Sealander could.

"How long have you known Peter?" Tino asked, a soft smile on his face that Raivis found comforting.

"W-Well...we met about...three months ago? We meet here, I've been g-going here since um...since I got into middle school. Feels longer. Peter makes it feel like we've known each other forever. Maybe cause he keeps asking all those questions, he knows everything about me." Raivis sighed softly, he didn't mind sharing with Tino, the teen gave off a very trusting vibe.

"Aww~ That's so cute." Tino cooed, laughing softly when Raivis blushed. "Peter sure does love asking questions, I've never met someone so curious."

"I like that about him, I think its a great thing, even if I don't always have the answers." Raivis looked over at the boys they've been talking about, smiling. "It seem Berwald is having trouble with that too."

"Oh yes, heh, Ber doesn't really like talking much so its...difficult for him get stuff out sometimes."

Raivis looked over at Tino, a sympathetic expression than back at the pair sitting. He could actually see that there was a sign of discomfort in that off putting face, it was hard to see but it was there.

"I should help..." The Latvian mumbled going over to them, despite the shaking that showed his hands. "P-Peter?"

The sea loving child stopped mid-sentence and devoted all his attention to the sandy blond instead. It was usually a simple task to get Peter to stop talking for Raivis, if he really wanted to.

"Yes Rai? Is something the matter?" That worry was back, had he been keeping it in the back of his mind? Peter liked to keep things tabbed that he would come back to later, it was impossible to really change subjects with him.

Raivis didn't actually have a plan, he just wanted to help! He couldn't think of anything to say. "Um.." He mumbled, shifting back and forth between feet. "I wanted to ask...uh...do you think it would be okay...if after this, I could come over?" The idea came from no where, but he really actually wanted to. He's been to Peter's house before and wasn't too fond of his parents, but he wanted to spend time with Peter more.

"Of course you can! I'll ask my parents right away! Excuse me, Berwald, I have to go call my parents." Peter jumped up to run off to the office to use the public phone. Before he could the Swede held up a hand to tell him to wait, which he did.

"C'n use mine." He offered, handing the boy his cell phone that he never really used in the first place. He might be the only teen that had one for emergencies only.

"Thanks!" He took it and went to find a place to make the call and not bother anyone.

Raivis nervously sat down next to Berwald, who looked away not wanting to bother the little Latvian. The younger teen cleared his throat and tried to keep his voice even.

"I k-know Peter l-likes to ask a lot of q-questions." He started, glancing over at the Swede, nearly squeaking when he looked back. Gotta focus. "B-But if you w-want him to stop, s-so you don't have to answer, just a-ask him about Sealand. It's where h-he was born and he's pretty obsessed about it."

Berwald blinked slowly, how did...? He looked over at Tino who was watching and making really cute faces at them...for some reason. The Finn must like that he was getting along with kids? Great! Then his plan was working so far and that was very nice of Raivis to tell him, his throat was getting sore.

"Th'nks." He mumbled. What should he do now? Shake his hand or something? That was too formal, maybe hug? No, to awkward and to familiar, he just met this kid and he seemed very easy to scare. So he settled on a soft pat to the head.

Raivis squeaked when the large hand landed on his head, eyes squeezing shut, expecting blindly for it to push down painfully. But it didn't, for such a large imposing man, it was just light gently strokes to his hair before leaving him. Raivis looked at the Swede and saw a lot going on behind his eyes and it made him feel guilty when Berwald seemed down trodden that Raivis was still scared.

The Latvian offered a small smile as his olive branch, he didn't want to be so rude and he was the ever people pleaser as well.

"It's no problem, it takes a while to get used to him." He was glad to see a very small what could be called a smile form on the Swede's face.

"Oh my gosh, that's so cute~" Tino gushed, he couldn't help it, his boyfriend was making so many new friends!

"What's cute?" Peter asked, returning from his call, looking over at his boyfriend and Berwald lightly chatting, mostly Raivis. "I'm happy they're getting along, Rai needs more friends. I think he's lonely at high school."

"Eh?" Tino was surprised, Raivis looked about Peter's age. "He's in high school?"

"Yea, he's a freshmen. He goes to your school. Oh! I know! You guys can check on him once and while right? Cause...He won't tell me, but I know something goes on there and I have a feeling its bad." Peter was concerned and he couldn't understand why the Latvian wouldn't tell him.

"Really? Oh my, well, I guess we can but I don't think he would like it if we spied. It would feel like we were invading his personal life. I'm sure its not as bad as you think, sweetie. High school is just a stressful place some times, but its not that bad." He messed up the Sealander's hair again, smiling reassuringly.

"I can't help it, I can't do anything for him there. I'm supposed to protect him!"

"Protect him? Why?"

"Cause it my job! You're supposed to protect and keep your boyfriend happy right? I just want him to be happy forever." Peter sighed, feeling powerless.

Tino's eyes widened slightly, surprised, but found it completely adorable. Thus why he nearly crushed the boy in the hug. "You are so adorable~ Both of you are."

"Eh? What the heck?"

"Hehe, sorry." Tino apologized, letting him go. "It's so sweet that you care so much for him, but don't worry, I'm sure it's nothing. But, since we do go to the same school, I don't mind checking on him. Just for you."

Peter lit up, grinning from ear to ear. "Thanks so much!" He hugged the Finn back, nearly crushing the air out of his lungs. Tino laughed returning the hugging, he had join this program because he always wanted a little brother or sister and Peter was just like that! He was so happy Berwald and he had joined here.

Raivis and Berwald looked over at their boyfriends at Peter's near squeal. Had the Latvian not known either of them he would have sworn they were related, they did even look rather similiar. He always knew Peter would be able to make friends easily, it was just so obvious he would. They looked like old friends or brothers.

"Oh Raivis!" Peter broke away from the Finn to latch to the Latvian instead, always the preferred snuggle option. "Mum and dad said it was fine, you could even spend the night if you like!" Raivis blushed when the younger teen planted a kiss to his cheek.

"Yes, I would like that." With his crumby week he'd been having, that would be the perfect thing. "I'll let my parents know."

"Do you want us to swing by your place to get some clothes and stuff?"

"Ah...no..I don't want to be a bother to your parents." Raivis mumbled, he didn't want Peter's parents to dislike him more than they already seemed to.

"Come on Rai, my clothes are way to small for you. We learned this last time. As fun as that was~" Peter grinned.

"Yea well...I'll just sleep in my clothes...I don't mind." Trying to close the subject.

"Rai, you can't sleep in your clothes, that's uncomfortable." Peter was always hard to argue with.

The older teens just watched the younger couple argue, it was rather amusing and the Nordic teens couldn't help but find it cute. It was obvious that Raivis didn't seem to be winning this argument but it seemed to cause him a lot of discomfort. Tino saw concern in Peter's eyes and understood where it was coming from, he could tell that the young Latvian was hiding something.

"Um..." The Swedish teen cleared his throat, he did love to help after all. "C'n drive you..." He mumbled, getting quiet fast when eyes were on him.

"Oh, yes we can, if you'd like~ And we don't mind at all, we don't have anything to do after this." Tino added, getting some of the attention off the embarrassed Swede. There was that deer in the head lights look Berwald always got when too many sets of eyes were on him, expecting him to say something.

After a little more protesting and Peter finally convincing Raivis, the teens found themselves outside the Latvian's house. They didn't have to wait long, Raivis seemed to have run in grabbed something and ran back out, if the shortness of breath was anything to go by.

"Rai, you didn't have to rush." Tino said, curious why he thought they minded waiting a little.

"I j-just want to g-get to Peter's is a-all." He panted, clutching the bag he packed tightly to his chest. "L-Let's go, please?"

Tino just nodded and they both got back into the car, Peter gave Berwald directions and they were off. Tino glanced back once in a while to see what the boys were talking about, finding them so adorable about the way they talked about all the exciting things they could over the weekend. It was just precious! The Finn even caught Berwald glancing at them through the rear view mirror.

"Thanks for the ride Berwald!" Peter cheered as they got out of the car. "You guys are so awesome!"

"'S no pr'blem." Berwald mumbled, faint smile playing on his lips.

"We'll see you guys Monday, okay?" Peter grinned, hugging his boyfriend.

"T-Thanks again...for everything." Raivis shyly smiled at them both as they talked through Tino's opened window.

"Of course, it was our pleasure. It was great meeting you Raivis." Tino smiled softly, they were to cute, really. "Now you boys have a good weekend, have lots of fun, but behave."

Peter laughed as he let go and took Raivis' hand, dragging him to the house. "Sure thing, mom!" He teased, waving them off as Berwald pulled away from the house.

Tino blushed brightly as the window went back up and covered his face with his hands embarrassed. "Oh god, that was motherly wasn't it?" He whined to Berwald, who was SO hiding an amused smile.

"'S alright." He assured his boyfriend, he wasn't all that surprised, Tino had always been motherly to younger kids. When they got married and settled down, they would adopt a child, maybe two and they will never be more loved. Tino was going to be the best mother ever, so caring and kind, Berwald just hoped he would make half as good of a father.

"But it's so embarrassing! I've only known Peter a few days, to do that...he must think I'm so weird!" He whined even more, totally missing the amused look on his boyfriend's face. "I don't want him to start not liking me cause I'm acting like his parents, kids get enough authority at home and school. I don't want to be another person telling him what to do!"

"'M sure he d'sn't, T'no. He l'kes you, I can tell." Berwald reassured him, glancing over at him briefly, needing to keep his eyes on the road. "Sh'ldn't worry so much."

Tino sighed softly, nodding, Berwald was right. "Yes, I know...I shouldn't worry about this, we barely know them, but still..." He trailed off in thought. "Raivis goes to our school, did you know?"

"No."

"He's a freshmen, he looked Peter's age or younger. Peter's worried about him and wants us to check up on him...ooohya! Just like parents! How horrible!" Spiraling straight back down his original problem.

Berwald chuckled softly. "W'nt to come to my house?"

"Eh? Oh...yes, I do." Tino's worried expression erupted into happiness, as if he had forgotten all about his worries. "I'm getting a little hungry, maybe we could cooking something together?"

"Ja." Berwald agreed, adjusting the route to take them to his house. Sometimes he wondered why Tino bothered going home at all, he practically lived at the Swede's home over the past year or so. It was more than he could ever hope for and loved every second of it. And Berwald's mother absolutely loved Tino, for many different reasons. The number one was surely that Tino had gotten her son to open up and talk again, it was wasn't very much but it was more than he had in years.

They were greeted by said happy mother the moment they walked into the door, Berwald's mother Monika was almost as talkive as Tino was and they would always share so many conversations. It made Berwald happy that she approved so highly of his future wife, so much so she would often mention when they planned on getting married. Tino and Monika talked all about the big brother project and how it was going while Berwald began looking through the fridge and pantry to come up with some ideas for dinner.

"Peter and Raivis are just so adorable~ Peter acts a bit younger than he is, but some times he seems older. He so curious about everything, especially history and cultures. It's so refreshing." Tino recounted, watching Berwald move around the roomy kitchen. "Raivis is very shy though, but I feel like he opened up a little for just meeting us. He's so polite and nice, but seems scared of his own shadow sometimes." The Finn paused, chewing on his bottom lip a bit in thought.

"What's the matter, sweetheart?" Monika frowned, she didn't care for the look that took over his face.

"It's just...I mean, I'm sure it's nothing..." He looked back at her, knowing he could easily confide in her with anything. "Peter mentioned something about him having a bad feeling that Raivis is hiding something about what goes on at school. When I was talking with him, nothing seemed to wrong, but when Berwald and I took him home to get some things...he ran in and out like he was running from a fire. It seemed like he really didn't want to be home at all."

Monika placed her hand over Tino's on the bar where they were sitting at, it was light and reassuring just like her smile. "There could be many reasons why he did that, excitement or even just not wanting to make you wait. I don't you want to worry so much until you get to know him more." Tino nodded, it must have been showing more on his face then he thought. "Your heart's in the right place,Tino, and it's so sweet of you to care so much so soon. You'll be such a wonder mother to Berwald's babies~" She cooed.

Berwald, who was pulling out some cookware, dropped everything in his hands with loud clanging noise and bracing himself against the counter so not to fall over from sheer embarrassment. There was a healthy blush over his cheeks as he looked at his mother indignantly. "Mor!"

Monika laughed, not all that sorry for making both the teenage boys blush, it was no secret to her of their future plans. Sometimes Tino wondered if Berwald got the habit of calling him the wife from his mother, he wouldn't be surprised.

"Come on boys, you know I just like to tease you both!" Monika laughed, her son picking up the things he dropped in hurried manner to try and hide the rest of his embarrassment. "But all kidding aside, I'm happy you are having so much fun at the program."

"Eheheheh...yea...U-Us too...I'm really happy Berwald made a friend on the first day!" Tino gushed excited, totally not missing the added shade of red to the Swede in question. "Peter is really good at getting him to talk too."

"Really? I would love to meet the tyke." A bright smile coming to her face, glancing over at her son who was pulling out some things to make a pasta dinner.

Tino went over to the tall Swede to assist him in preparing the things they would need to cook. Monika watched them, a warm smile on her face as they moved in sync, such perfect rhythm as they moved around the kitchen. Tino gave Berwald a look as they accidentally danced around each other, Berwald lifting the pot to boil noodles and nearly spun away so not to hit the fin. A smile was on both their faces, that smile only came when Tino was with her son. It made her heart swell and she would silently send up a prayer to her husband, letting him know their son had found so much happiness.

Monika sighed. "Such a shame, they would have such cute babies together." She mused aloud, completely unaware she verbalized her thoughts.

Both of the boys looked at her with reddening cheeks, stopping their cooking routine.

"Mor!" Berwald might not live till their wedding day if his mother was so hell bent on embarrassing him to death.

Monika snapped out of it and laughed, they were just too easy to tease. This was going to be such a fun and interesting school year, she could just feel it.

Now to start the next chapter, back through the other pairings and it might take me a while~

Thanks for sticking with me guys!
