Regan looked back at the ship that was currently sailing away, "Looks like they got him to follow them."

Ace nodded as he followed her in the shadows, "Drake seems pretty dedicated to capturing you ladies."

"I think he is just mad the captain knocked him away, and then when he started chasing us Mina sank his ship."

Ace smirked then quickly pulled Regan against him as a marine walked past them, "We need to be careful."

Regan nodded and then held out her hand, "Ready, love?"
Ace kissed her and grabbed her hand, the contact sending a thick fog around them, "As I'll ever be, let's go." The two pirates quickly made their way into the marine's base. "Alright, you take care of their armory, I'll find Jabor."

Regan nodded and then kissed him, "Be careful, I will come to you as soon as I can."

Ace nodded and watched as she slipped away, "Be careful." He turned and then slipped through the halls searching the rooms for Jabor. He came across a room that seemed, to be a little more regal and slipped in. As he searched the room he realized it was Jabor's. He quietly went through and searched the marine's things looking for anything interesting or useful why he waited. "This is the perfect place to get revenge…I told him I would kill him if he ever touched her." He whispered to himself as he heard someone approach the door. He waited and then heard them continue on talking about the bizarre fog that had rolled in out of nowhere.

"What happened?" Someone asked as a man ran past the other marine.

"I don't know someone broke into the armory!"

Ace froze and felt terror go down his spine, "Regan." He sat back and thought what to do when he heard someone struggling through the halls. He quickly pulled back into the shadows when people began to enter the room.

"Tie her down!" Jabor yelled out to the men who were trying to hold down the slim pirate girl, "You are never going to get out of here alive, girly. If you think I will let you go again, you are mistaken."

"You won't let me go that is for sure, because I will kill you!" Regan snapped back as she was her hands were cuffed to the bedposts.

Jabor slapped her and crawled over her and grabbed her jaw forcing her to look at him, "If I were you, I would be trying to make myself useful."

Regan glared at him and then spit in his face causing him to grip even harder onto her jaw. "Let go!" She forced out as the pain grew.

"Get out of here!" Jabor ordered as he forced her jaw up and started placing wet kisses down her jaw and collar, "You are mine and you know it. Why else would you come slinking back here in the dead of night."

Ace felt fury rise up and watched as the rest of the marines left. As soon as they had exited he stood up and bolted the door shut as the flames rolled off. "Get your dirty hands off of her."

Regan gave a relieved smile to Ace then turned to see her terrified captor. She quickly turned and raised a small thin leg in between his legs capsizing him. "Take that." She said triumphantly as she used her feet to find the keys for the seastone cuffs.

Jabor sat back up as she retrieved the keys, "You little bitch!" He yelled as he pulled out a gun and faced it at Regan with a cruel smirk, "I will kill you! You can't phase through a bullet in those handcuffs!"

Ace roared in rage and lunged, tackling him as the gun went off. Ace grinned then when he saw Jabor under him terrified. "I told you I would kill you!"

Regan removed the seastone handcuffs and looked over to where Ace was beating Jabor in. She heard the door then, "Ace someone is trying to get in!" She looked back as the door groaned under the pressure they were putting it under, "Ace! We need to go! The crew is waiting for us!" She turned back to see the door groan again. "It's not going to hold up…" She whispered then turned back to see Ace still punching Jabor. She slowly got up and made her way over to the door and focused. The door burst open, but the marines who attacked were washed out of the doorway and down the flight of stairs nearby by a gust of water. Regan walked out of the door and began clearing out the marines careful from the traps that had captured her earlier. When she had removed all of the threats for the time with slick stairs she turned back and went to Ace. "Finish him now, Ace! We have to go now or we will get trapped by Drake!"

Ace finally stopped his attack satisfied with the disformed body before him. "Let's go." He grabbed her wrist and dragged her along as his body spread flames through the building. "They won't be able to use this place when we are done with it!" The closer they got to the shore the more he realized Regan was struggling. "Come on love we are almost there."

"I can't…go on without me." She breathed out heavily as she slipped her hand away and folded her hands over her stomach. "I feel sick."

Ace gritted his teeth as he saw the marines chasing after them from the flaming base. The good news was they wouldn't be able to save it, the bad news they knew that and they were out for blood. "Damn it," he muttered as he quickly scooped up the girl and carried her to the flame powered boat they had used to get there. He began to start out but the marine ships were looking for them, "Regan we need to make fog again."

Regan nodded, but not before they were shot at. Regan felt pain shoot up her and then rage, "Screw you!" She screamed as the ocean water shot up at the marine ship that shot at them destroying it.

Ace quickly took care of two others when he saw Regan sway. He quickly put an arm around her waist when he felt something hot and sticky. He looked down and saw the blood on her shirt. "Regan?!"

"I'm fine, let's get out of here."

Ace nodded and quickly speed out to see the Devil's Kiss floating out a ways from them with a marine ship sailing towards the base, "Drake is retreating, we got him away."

Regan gave a tight smile, trying to hide the pain. "Good, he's been a pain the past month."

Ace kissed her forehead, "I'm sorry, you got hurt, but now we have a chance to slip away and recover."

Regan nodded as she looked up, they had gotten up beside the ship and Ace leapt up with her, "Hey guys." Regan said with a tired smile.

Rose quickly stepped forward, "Give her to me."

Ace handed Regan over and watched as Rose carried her away, "I'm sorry I let her get hurt."

Chesha walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder, "It is not your fault. However, thanks to you we got a break from Drake's attacks. She can rest peacefully for a bit."

Ace nodded and then sat down outside of the medical bay, "Ya, I just hope she's okay."

"She's fine, the bullet just grazed her." Rose said taking off the bloody gloves she had on. "She's resting now, however, that bullet shouldn't have slowed her down or weakened her as much as she is."

Ace stood up then, "What do you mean? Is she sick, poisoned?" Ace started asking as he paced nervously.

Rose rolled her eyes, "She's fine. She is just a bit tired. After all, she is pregnant."

Ace froze and looked up, "She's pregnant?"

Rosaleen groaned aloud then, "The idiots going to be the father…that child is going to be an idiot."

Everyone laughed then minus Ace who had a happy grin on his face, "I'm going to be a dad!"

Chesha gave a rare smile and walked to the bow of the ship, "Well let's get moving to somewhere safe. We can't let anyone know where we are. After all, when the marine's hear there is a baby going to be a born that holds both the Pirate King's blood and Whitebeards, they won't be too happy."

Ace froze as he remembered what it was like to be a pirate's son. He did not want that life for his child. Arianna noticed and walked over to him, "Don't worry about it. Your child will be protected and happy. We are all excited, none of us ever thought we would be able to have children. So, Regan having one is pretty exciting, we are all looking forward to being aunts."

"She will be hunted down though…"

Arianna gave an unladylike snort, "You act like we won't be there with her. She will be safe from harm, and that monster woman will make sure she knows how to defend herself." Arianna said referring to Rosaleen.

Aymi smiled quietly and went off to stand beside her sister, "So what's the plan?"

Chesha gave a bored shrug, "Keep an eye open for marines and get to a remote island. There we can remove our mark until we can set sail again."

"How long will that be?"

"It might be a few years, so we will have to train ourselves." She looked over to Ace and saw him still worrying about the entire thing. "That boy is still worrying." She adjusted the captains jacket around her arms and walked towards him arms crossed. "Do you not have faith in my abilities?"

Ace looked up and saw the captain glaring down on him, "No, I'm sure you can handle anything! You're powerful."

"As is my crew, so quit this annoying worrying and go watch over Regan before I throw you into the ocean."

Ace felt a smile go to his face as the emotionless captain walked off. He stood up and entered the room to see Regan in bed, with a bandage on the side of her hip. "Regan?"

Regan turned over and gave a smile, "Ace, did she tell you?"

Ace nodded and sat in the chair beside her, "Yes she did. Arianna told me they are all excited to be aunts."

Regan laughed as she began to sit up, "I'm excited too. I've always wanted my own family." She said as she put a hand on her still flat stomach. She looked up at him and placed a hand on his cheek, "Our child will be fine. With us as parents, and Whitebeard as a grandfather-"

"And Vice Admiral Garp, sort of. He watched me in place of my father."

Regan just gave a grin and kissed him, "They will be fine, everyone will be watching out for them."

Ace pulled her into his arms and kissed her head, "I can't wait to see you get big."

Regan scowled and hit him lightly on the chest, "You idiot."

Ace lowered her back down and kissed her forehead, "Get some rest, after all you have another person to take care of."

"Aye Aye, Sir."
