Hey guys!
How are ya? Holy f***ing shit! I HAVE SO MANY DAMN PROJECTS. I guess our teacher have this little group meeting and this is probably how the conversation goes: "oh, you have a project too? Okay, let's make it due on the same day as every other project we are giving them so they won't get it done on time.""Such A great idea, we should do this before every other break we have too." "all has been decided, let's assign it guys!"
fucking hell, lay off teach.
I am trying to draw and write fan fiction before Christmas and projects ain't gonna help me. I hate you all.
Thank you for listening to my rage, and now serious talk.
so, you will see in this chapter Eren is talking to the kids, and this came to me today and I thought I should just let it out; never take your freedom for granted. Until someone thoroughly explained that to me today, I never thought it was that important. My daily words of wisdom o.o
only one more chapter! And I will warn you, this one isn't this good since I'm sick and have been working on projects dawn to dusk. Please life with it ;_; I will give my ALL for the last one.
Thank you for all the favs, follows, and reviews! It means a lot to me! Thank you L. Kagamine-sama, calleyrose, Pucaroo, and soundless-victory for reviewing the last one ;)
thank you for reading, and enjoy!
"What did you say, Ash?" A boy said from the top bunk, rolling over.
"It's nothin, Josh. I'm just starting to see Eren-kun again."
"Oh. How long has it been anyway?"
"Almost a year. It's gonna be our birthday soon."
"Right." Joshua rolled around, looking at the door. " Ash, there are people at the door!" He noted, alarmed.
Ashley turned to see other people at the door also. "Oh yeah! Thea's out for food bout now, so I'll take em." She noted, pulling a knife out of her pillow. "Here we go-"
"... What's wrong, Ash?" Joshua asked, concerned.
"... I ran into Eren-kun."
"What?"
"I said I just ran into him. Like, he seems sorta... Real..." Ashley explained, examining him. Eren couldn't have his smile any wider. He leaned down to Ashley, startling her.
"... What if I am?" Eren said, Ashley's eyes widening and Joshua lurching over the bed at his words.
Ashley screamed like a girl, throwing her arms around him. She could reach his waist now, and starting crying while snot was going down her face. "ERRRRRRRREEEEEN!" She screeched, sobbing.
Joshua fell from the top bunk, a huge thunk on the wooden floor in result. He immediately got up and ran over, jumping onto Erens back. "Eren..." He whispered, as if he made sure it was him. He held back his tears, eyes watery. "You're here..." He said shakily, his whole body shaking.
Levi and the crew watched this happen, and it was like a movie scene. Eren looked ridiculously happy; and he was. He felt that his body was floating, and that most of the chains wrapped around his body had been broken vigorously.
The kids continued to have their reunion for five minutes, before Ash finally stopped screeching Erens name. She looked up at him, the left part of his waist now covered in tears and snot, and said "We missed you..."
Eren smiled, kneeling down and bringing Joshua in to hug them both. "But I kept my promise, didn't I?"
Josh nodded. "... Yeah... I guess so..." He said, hugging him back with an iron grip. Hanji and Mikasa quietly walked in, but Ashley seemed to notice immediately.
"Who are they?" She said with distaste, giving them a look of anger. Josh also turned at this point, and seemed to find out who they were by intensely glaring at them. Eren chuckled, standing up and turning around.
"Guys, These are some of the people that I've become every attached to, before and after I came here. That's Mikasa, my sister, and then Armin, who was and still is my best friend before I came here. Then there's Hanji, who is a good friend of Levi, and this is Levi, who is..."
Hanji coughed once quickly, then murmured, "His boyfriend." And then coughed again.
"Hanji, keep your shit to yourself."
"Language Levi!" Eren noted, covering the kids ears. "They'll hear you."
"Don't worry." Josh noted, taking Erens hands off his ears. "Thea says them when she's angry or has to throw away the food because it spoiled. " He commented, making Eren murmur something under his breath.
Ashley carefully walked over, carefully examining each person. When she got to Levi, she murmured "He looks suspicious." To Joshua.
Joshua noted this, and walked beside Ashley. "Well first off, he looks emotionless and is shorter than the average height." He noted, making Levi twitch.
"Watch your mouth, kid," he said sternly, trying not to yell. "And second off, I have a very good relationship with Eren, so you better get used to me."
The kids groaned, and Eren rolled his eyes playfully. He heard the door from outside open, and he walked into the hallway.
"Hey kids-" she started, then dropping her bag. She looked much more mature now, and seemed to hold some responsibility. She ran over, and hugged Eren tightly.
"Oh my gosh!" She stated, squeezing him tightly. She came back, looking at Eren and putting her hand on his shoulders. "You're back!" She exclaimed, smiling. "I can't believe it!" She said, hugging him again. He smiled, hugging her back and patting her on the back.
"Hey Thea!" He commented, letting go and smirking. "How've you been?"
Thea sighed, looking behind Eren at the others. "It's been fine, really. Ever since you left, it's actually been a bit calmer, no offense." She noted, pointing at Mikasa and the group. "New friends?" She asked.
"New ones and old ones," he commented, picking up Ashley, who had just ran up to him. "The kids been good for ya?"
"They've been fine. They talked about you every single day though, and that gets annoying after a while." She stated, smiling. "But I think they've grown on me."
Eren smirked, walking back to Levi with Ashley still in his arms. "That's good." He noted. "Because were leaving."
Ashley and Joshua were very confused, but Thea understood it completely. She covered her mouth with both of her hands in shock, and starting sobbing in happiness. "... I can't believe it..." She murmured, making Ashley confused.
"I'm confused. Where are we going?" Ashley asked innocently, making Erens heart break. They had probably never seen the outside. They had only lived in hell.
Eren put her down, and crouched down to Josh and Ash. "We're going to a place where green grass is free, and were red liquid isn't poured as much. Where we can go and eat at fast food places and I can finally give you a cheeseburger. A real, good one." He commented, making the kids excited. "A place were it isn't always cloudy, and you can meet other people your age. Somewhere from Joshua's book, where you guys can be safe. Be truly safe." He stated, making their faces brighten.
"Really?!" Josh exclaimed, one of the rare expressions on his face. "I want to go! Right now!" He exclaimed, jumping up and down with Ashley.
Thea just walked outside, and Eren noted that Hanji wasn't with the others. "Where'd glasses go?"
"Taking care of Erwin. Letting the others have at em, so we don't know his fate. I guess that's the best way." Levi noted, walking over to Eren. "Then the people here can get out. Felice mentioned something about letting them go."
Eren rolled his eyes. "She just feels guilty. We have one more stop before we go back to New York, though."
Levi stopped, looking at him funny. "And where is that?"
Eren smiled, starting to guide the kids out the door. "The Hunt."
Now the helicopter was really cramped.
Ashley was sitting on Mikasas lap, and Josh was sitting in Armins. Eren was flushing as he sat on Levi, who complained that he already did this earlier. Felice was now in the passenger seat along with Thea, not knowing where Eren had told Hanji to go.
"Now, we have to blindfold you."
"Why?" Felice asked incredulously to Eren.
"Just cause."
"I've already seen the outside world, Eren."
"Will you just suck it up and put it on? Damn." Levi grunted, making Eren sigh. The kids would have to get used to his language.
"... Fine." Felice grumbled, shamefully putting it on. Eren smirked, telling Hanji to lower the helicopter.
Eren had gotten out first, letting Mikasa lead Felice and Thea play with the kids for a bit to keep them entertained. He ran out in the forest, making sure something was there. He smiled when he found what he wanted, and grinned wider when he saw who was inside. He carefully took Felices shoulders and walked her over.
"Hey!" He yelled into the cave, making the man turn at the same time he removed the blindfold, and both eyes were widened.
"... Felice?!" Hannes exclaimed as she ran over and hugged him tightly.
"... Hannes..." Felice whispered, Hannes smiling and rubbing her back.
Eren smiled, letting them have their reunion for a little bit as he walked away.
Levi was just sitting on a log in the middle of the jungle, while everyone else was occupied. He sat down beside him, and Levi surprised him by putting his arm around Erens shoulder.
"... So what now?" Eren asked.
"Hmm? We go back."
"Yeah but..."
Levi roughly grabbed Erens chin and whipped his head around. He slowly kissed him, not letting Eren speak. They continued to kiss for a few moments before Eren went back to catch a breath.
"No buts." Levi noted. "You'll be free, you'll have your kids, and you'll be happy."
"Yeah... I guess..."
"But before that, I am renting a hotel. Tonight."
Erens eyes widened. After a few seconds, his eyes dimmed. "Oh..."
Levi sighed. "Your taking this wrong. This isn't a one night stand." He noted, staring into Erens eyes. "I plan on doing it many more times." He slivered out, making Eren blush furiously.
"Where?"
"Your house. My house. When I'm with you."
"I love you, you know that?"
Levi smiled. "I know, but you might regret telling me that. Because now, I'm not letting you go."
Eren put a hand on Levi's face. "I got it."
Levi looked away so he wouldn't blush, mumbling,
"I've gotten such a shitty brat."
Happy laughter filled the dense air.
