Sorry it has taken me so long to update this story but got a little upset over a review that someone say "Fuck you" to me all because I say I have to reread this story to remind myself where I was going with it and that person thought I say I was going to re do it that person needs to apologize for that, anyway I am over it and here is my new update

Regina had made lunch and coffee for both herself and Emma

"so what brings you to Storybrooke?" Regina asked not really knowing what to say to Emma Swan her favourite author next to James Patterson of course

"I was at my lake house for a little get away" Emma told Regina as she did not want to mention any thing about her new book to a fan who may turn psycho on her, she have seen misery and this situation was too much like that film.

"really? I guess all the best author need to get away to relax and renew" Regina say with a sweet smile on her face

Emma smile back at Regina "so is it just you here in the hotel?" Emma asked Regina trying to get to know more about her new hostess so she could find out if this woman was a crazy cat lady or not, well she had a dog so that was close enough.

"its just me and Molly" Regina say as she picked up her coffee and had a mouthful "so how often do you go to your lake house?" Regina asked Emma, very much enjoying they little chat and getting to know the woman behind the books.

"not as often as I would like" Emma answer not wanting to give too much away before getting to know this woman a little better but felt she should give the woman who save her life a little more than seven words "I come out to my lake house at least once a year, I normally come out in the summer time but could not make it this summer as I was in London at the time" Emma tells Regina a little more then she had plan to but nothing to personal.

Regina was happy that Emma had opened up a little more to her, Regina guess that with Emma being famous she might of put up some walls, but Regina had six months to get through Emma's walls so Regina had time to earn her trust.

"so tell me to mind my own business but how did you get that scar on your upper lip?" Emma asks Regina as she was a little curious as to the story behind it

"I was very young when it happened so I don't remember" Regina answer but Emma could tell Regina was not telling her everything but she was not going to push Regina into telling her

"Well it a cute little scar" it was out of Emma month before she could stop herself, so she try to avoid eye contact with Regina so Emma just pick up her coffee and took a mouthful

"thanks, I guess" Regina say putting her hand on top of Emma hand trying to make Emma look that her, when Emma finally looked Regina in the eye, Regina give Emma another little sweet smile letting her know it was alright.

Emma Smile back at Regina, leaving her hand where it was, Regina also left her hand on top of Emma's as they both fall into a comfortable silence as they looked deep into each other eyes, Emma was amazed at how brown Regina chocolate eye were, Regna also loved that Emma's blue eyes was as deep as the ocean.

Emma snapped out of it and pulled her hand back from Regina "I need to go lie down" Emma say getting up from the table, Regina also stood up

"let me help you back upstairs" Regina say going over to Emma to help her, Emma was going to object but the pain in her body was overwhelming, Regina after seeing Emma was struggling to stay standing let alone walk by herself tried again to help Emma.

So Regina put her arm around Emma waist, while grabbing Emma arm and making Emma put her arm around her shoulders, then very slowly walked out of the kitchen into the hallway, when they got to the stair Regina made Emma sit down on the stairs before going back to the kitchen to get her a glass of water.

"thank you" Emma say taking the glass off Regina

"Do you want me to run upstairs and get your pain killers?" Regina ask as she saw Emma in a lot of pain

"no that alright, I will take some after we get upstairs" Emma say before having another mouthful before pulling down the glass and getting up with Regina help of course before they started climbing the stairs.

When they got to the top of the stair Molly come running up and passed them before running into Emma bedroom, when Emma and Regina walked into Emma's room they find Molly on the bed

"Molly get off the bed" Regina tells her dog as she helped Emma over to the bed, Molly did jump down off the bed as Emma sat down on the bed before Regina helped her into before handed her some painkillers and a glass of water.

Regina want to give Emma a kiss on the forehead but caught her on the lips instead, as Emma lifted up her head toward Regina right at the same time.

At first they were both so shocked that they lips were touching that neither one of them moved, they left they lips on each other's for a minute or two before Regina decided to take a chance and started to move her lips.

Emma against her better judgement put her hand on the back of Regina head and stated to kiss her back, when oxygen became an issue Emma pulled back "WOW!" was all Emma could think of to say

"I could not of say it better myself" Regina say before moving in for another kiss but this time it was just a little kiss "you better get some sleep, we can talk about this later" Regina say before giving Emma another light kiss on her lips "Molly stay!" Regina order Molly before getting up and leaving the room.

"I can't believe I just kissed Emma Swan" Regina say before doing a little dance then running down the stairs and hitting play on her CD player before picking up a print brush and continue to print the wall while dancing to the music with a big smile on her face.

As tired as Emma was she could not let herself fall asleep she just kept thinking about that kiss she had share with Regina, there was no doubt that Regina was a very beautiful woman, but Emma did not really know anything about her.

But Emma knew she had a lot of time to get to know Regina, a six whole months to be exact, Emma did not know if she wanted a relationship or not, she had not even dated in years the last date Emma went on was two years ago when her mum had talked her into a "win a date with Emma swan competition" but a relationship was a whole different ball game.

Emma wanted to kick herself, how did she go from a kiss to a relationship? That was quite a jump, but then was it really? This last year Emma had been thinking a lot about settling down with someone and starting a family, but never had time to find someone or her mother would get in the way.

Emma couldn't fight the painkillers any longer and fall into a deep sleep but not before promising herself that whatever was happening between her and Regina she would talk Regina into taking things slow and to get to know each other better.

Sorry for the long wait for this update, I hope to update again soon in the new year
