The Diary of Sophie Lupin-Black.
September, 1st 2011 - Thursday.
So today, I arrived at Hogwarts for the first time. I was up at 8am, I slept in late! I normally get up for 7:30am. I packed all of my belonging's last night with Tad's help of course.
Tad wasn't able to come and see me off at the platform because it is the Full Moon tonight but I promised that I would write tomorrow so that he knows how my first day went ad who my new friends are but if I'm being honest, I don't want any new friends. I'm happy with the ones I've got.
On the way to school, I sat in a carriage with Melissa, Will, Sam and Matthew. We were joined by Ron Weasley and Harry Potter who recognised me from Diagon Alley yesterday. At the end of the journey, we were interrupted by Hermione Granger who was looking for a toad that belongs to another new kid, his name is Neville Longbottom and he seems like a bit of a klutz.
The Sorting Ceremony was over fairly quickly, there was 12 people sorted into each house. I'm in Gryffindor with Chloe. Harry, Ron and Hermione are in Gryffindor too. My main friends, Will and Melissa have been sorted into Ravenclaw and I'm going to miss them but I will make some new friends with the people in my house, in my year.
I am sharing a dorm with 5 other girls called, Lavender Brown, Hermione Granger, Parvarti Patil, Katy Staples and Chloe Squires. (who I already know from Muggle primary school)
The feast was absolutely fantastic, I am not a big fan of eating but I ate enough and Tad will be pleased to know that. I can see the full moon shining clearly in the sky as I look out of the window and it makes me worry about Tad but I should get to sleep now because I have a busy day tomorrow.
