Hi guys. I have nothing better to do so I thought, "Hmm... why don't I just post a story?"

I apologize for how short it is.

Anyway, enjoy. And no, I do not own MFB.

"Dad… I don't want to go!" The seven year old boy clung onto his father's legs.

"But Gingka… Don't you want to go? Sleep outside under the stars with all your friends?" Ryo kneeled down and took his son's hands.

His eyes widened. "But I'm scared. What if a bear eats me?"

"No bear is going to eat you. Your teacher will fight the bear if off." Noticing the young boy seemed tenser, he added: "But no bear is going to come anyway. He probably will be sleeping in his cave."

Gingka thought about that for a moment. "What if I'm hungry and there's no food?"

Ryo got up and took a package out of the cabinet. "Here. I bought you some marshmallows." He lowered his voice to a whisper. "But don't tell Hokuto. He might try to steal some while you sleep."

"What if I have to go to the bathroom? I can't bring the toilet out there with me."

Ugh. How was he supposed to explain what he was to do? "Gingka… what are you afraid of?"

"I don't… I don't want to leave you. What if you get lonely without me?"

"You're going to miss me, right? That's why you don't want to go." Ryo raised his eyebrows and looked at the boy.

"Um… Well…"

Ryo took Gingka's hand and led him to the window. "Look, see the moon?"

"Dad, it's daytime! There's no moon right now."

"Right. But when the moon comes out look out and always remember that no matter where you are, we're both looking at the same moon." Ryo grinned. "When I say that way, we're not so far apart, eh?"

"So… You'll look at the moon when I'm gone and think of me?"

"Right."

"And I'll look at the moon and know that you'll be looking at it?"

"Correct."

The boy looked up at his father. "Promise you'll look at it every night when I'm gone?"

"Promise."

"Every time I'm not home?"

"I promise."

"Say the whole thing!"

Ryo sighed. "Cross my heart."

Gingka raised an eyebrow. "And?"

"Gingka, if I hope to die, how am I going to look at the moon every night?"

"Oh yeah."

"Gingka, come on! We're going to make s'mores!" Hyoma grabbed Gingka's hand and began pulling him towards the campfire.

"Wait a minute."Gingka looked up at the moon. It was bright in the sky.

I miss you Dad. But I'm having lots of fun.

Gingka smiled. "Good night Dad." He whispered.

Holding his cup of milk, Ryo stepped out onto the porch and looked up at the sky.

I wonder if the moon is bigger where you are? Anyway, make sure to keep on having fun and I miss you too.

"Sweet dreams Gingka." Ryo said softly as he opened the door and stepped inside.

And thaaaat's the end. How was it? Please leave a review! :)

Have a great day! (If it's day where you are. It's evening/night where I am) If it's night or the evening, good night and sweet dreams!
