" Since Luke is now awake he don't need that much medical attention he's been gettin' here ". explained doc
" Now Doc I don't exactly have the money that it would cost to send Luke to a place like that". said Jesse
" Don't worry about the money Jesse they have a payment plan that will give Luke the care he needs for free". said doc
" Besides Unca Jesse you can't send Luke to a place like that he'll give up ". said Bo
" Bo I think what the doctor is sayin is that we don't really have much of a choice". explained Jesse
" I still don't like the idea of sendin' him off to place filled strange people". explained Jesse
" Jesse I hate to say this but I don't think you realize what your gonna be dealin' with". explained doc ApplebyM
" Now this place is used to dealin' with patient's in Luke's condition they can get him back on his feet faster".Doc Appleby
" Doc can't we just take Luke home and maybe get back to ya on it?". asked Jesse
" Jesse with the way Luke is now I don't think it would be wise ". said doc Appleby
" Where is this place located at that you say could help him ". asked Jesse
" It's located in Atlanta Luke could be transported there by ambulance by tomorrow". said Doc Appleby
" All i want is for Luke to have the best care possible so just do what you think is best". replied Jesse
After the Dukes finished talking with Doc they made their way down to hall to Luke's room".
Jesse slowly walked over to Luke it about broke Jesse's heart to see Luke look at him like he was a stranger.
"Luke I don't know if you can understand me but I really want you to know that I love you". explained Jesse
Meanwhile Bo who was standing by Doc. Applebee was tryin' to be brave but he was havin' a little trouble .
Unfortunately Luke was lost in his own mind he can't remember who any of these people are .
Doc Applebee asked Jesse if he could speak to him outside for a spell about Luke's condition while Bo visited.
" Jesse I really am beggin' you to let me send Luke to this place it will help him out a great deal." begged Doc
" I just don't wanna send Luke to a place that is filled with strangers won't be able to help him ". explained Jesse
" Jesse with the way Luke is now you wouldn't be able to deal with him in the shape he's in now". explained doc
So as Jesse and kept talking about Luke's condition , Bo was dealing with alot of guilt about Luke's accident.
" Luke I'm really sorry about this I didn't mean what I said about you never comin' back". explained Bo
Unfortunately all Bo got from Luke was a dazed expression on his face on account of he can't talk at the moment.
" Luke I really wish that you could give me a sign that ya hear me?". asked Bo
Bo kept sitting by Luke's bed holdin' his hand that didn't have the IV in it and he was hoping for a response but nothing.
Meanwhile Doc. Applebee was still trying to convince Uncle Jesse about how good it would be to send Luke to that place.
" Please Jesse It would be the best thing for everybody Luke would be back on his feet faster ". explained Doc
" Proper care cost money that I don't and I don't like the idea of sendin' him to a place filled with strangers". said Jesse
" Jesse I assure you it'll be the best for everyone please consider". begged Doc Appleby
Finally Jesse agreed with Doc Appleby even though in Jesse's heart he wished that he could take Luke home .
Meanwhile in Luke's room Bo was still tryin' to get Luke to talk to him and look at like at him like he wasn't a stranger.
" Luke it's me Bo your cousin don't you remember me please tell me you do ?". begged Bo
" I ... , I... sorry I don't remember you ". Said Luke
" Luke please don't leave me alone I need you cousin don't leave me come back to me ". asked Bo
Unfortunately no matter what Bo did it wasn't working he was starting to fear the worst.
So he just sat down in the chair beside Luke's bed and he prayed that Luke would come back to him.
Meanwhile Uncle Jesse and Bo had decided to finally leave the hospital around 8:00 as they started the drive back to the farm Jesse silently prayed that Luke would somehow pull through this mess and be his oldself again.
" I'm really worried about Luke he sure don't seem to be okay ". said Bo
" Well Doc. Appleby told me that this place can give Luke the help he need's that we can't". said Jesse
" I just hope this place can help Luke get back on his feet faster I can't stand to see him like this". said Bo
A few days later Luke was sent to the Seabreeze rehab center to help him in his recovery process.
It took a few days for the people at the Rehab clinic to for them to get Luke settled before the Dukes could come visit.
2 weeks later Uncle Jesse received a phone call from a nurse and she said " y'all can come visit Luke now if you want".
So later on that day Bo, Daisy, Jesse drove down to Atlanta until they came to a place that had a Dolphin out front.
After Jesse parked the pick-up truck they all made their way inside and Jesse talked to the nurse at the front desk.
" Excuse me m'am my name is Jesse Duke were here to see my nephew Luke Duke who was brought in this morning .
So the nurse checked her computer and she saw that Luke's name is in the computer and he is in room 109.
" Your nephew is in room 109 if you go down the hallway it is the first room on the your left ". said Ruthanne.
So Jesse, Bo , Daisy all walked dwon the long hallway to Luke's room and they were surprized to see how much this place
didn't look so much like a nursing home it even had a fountain in the middle of the hall , flowers, music,.
" Maybe this place ain't so bad after all Uncle Jesse maybe Luke'll get better faster here"?. said Bo
" Well I still don't like the idea of him bein' here but all I want is my boy back". said Jesse
A few minutes later they arrived at Luke's room and he was asleep at the moment so Jesse walked on over to his bed
And he shook Luke a few times until he noticed that Luke's eyes was opening and his heart was filled with so much joy.
" Well hey Luke we's here to visit ya boy it's me your Uncle Jesse ". said Jesse
Luke just looked at Jesse stunned he didn't know who this guy was but he figured he would smile at him anyway.
" So Luke did Jesse gave him a big hug and told him how much he loved him .
Next it was Bo's turn to visit with Luke and so Jesse and Daisy stepped outside in the hallway while the boy's visited.
Bo sat by Luke's side and he picked up his hand and he rubbed it a few times hoping Luke would give him a sign of some kind.
" Luke can't you please tell me you remember who I am it is killin' me that you don't know who I am ". said Bo
" Dangnit Luke why can't you just talk to me like we used to I miss ya cousin please come back to me". said Bo
As Bo sat their and stared at Luke he silently prayed that Luke would one day come back to him.
