"Inuyasha?" His sons name! Without a second thought he left. He ran toward to east while Inuyasha and his mate went toward west. What's planned for the three groups? Was this fate? No one could know for sure.

Chapter 31

Kagome moaned lightly as she started to wake. She didn't open her eyes but felt strong arms around her. Her eyes opened to meet amber of Inuyasha's eye. He gave her a charming smile seeing her look around. They were close to the castle of her mates.

"Good morning sleep head," he said with a wide smirk.

"Leave her alone. It's good that she slept," Kikyo said from up ahead. She stopped causing Inuyasha to rush up to her side. "Someone's here." Her voice was cold as venom. Inuyasha's smirked had already been replace with a darken frown.

"Who's there?" Inuyasha growled.

There was a laugh as Inu no taisho appeared in front of him. "Hello Inuyasha, and Kagome," he said looking down at Kagome. He went to take Kagome but Inuyasha move out of his reach.

"Who are you?" Inuyasha growled out.

"Let me down," Kagome said before Inuyasha let her onto her feet. She still was tired and fell right into Inu no taisho's arms. Her eyes closed once again.

"She must still be tired," Kikyo sighed moving closer to check Kagome.

"I'll take her to the castle," Inu no taisho said turning to go but Inuyasha step in his way. "Her pups need her."

"Who are you?" Inuyasha snapped hating to be ignored.

"Inuyasha this is your father," Kagome sighed closing her eyes listening for what was to happen next but instead there was wind blowing on her. Her eyes opened to see trees fly pass her head. "Where are you bringing me?"

"I'm bringing you to your pups. They cried of hunger," he said moving faster. She closed her eyes letting sleep claim her once again.

Sesshomaru went toward the village were his half-brother lived but smelled his mates scent leaving another direction with the half breed. He frowned at the idea. What was Inuyasha doing with his mate? He knew that he had feeling for the girl but there was no way he was letting Inuyasha be with her.

He also smelled another scent that was close to his mates.

'Who's with her and Inuyasha?'

'Less thinking more finding,' his beast growled. It was not that pleased.

'You're the one, who hit her,' Sesshomaru growled and went off following the scent of his mate. He soon realized that it was heading back to their castle. He was so close the scent was getting closer and then he saw black hair.

He stopped and said, "Kagome?"

She didn't see him and he was so close. The girl turned around and smiled, "Hello Lord Sesshomaru."

"Kikyo," he growled remembering all that she has done.

"What do you want Sesshomaru?" Inuyasha growled sitting under a tree.

"Where is Kagome?" He growled.

"Why did you hit her?" Inuyasha yelled back not daring to answer his damn brother.

"My beast did. I wasn't in control," Sesshomaru growled out in anger.

"You the powerful Sesshomaru lost control?" Inuyasha asked in disbelief before he broke into laughter.

"Laugh it out little brother," he hissed.

"Now boys, could we please be nice," Kikyo said as she sat down looking at them. "Lord Sesshomaru to answer you first question we have no idea where your mate is."

He glared at the Miko. "Her scent was here," he said. He then picked up on his father's scent in the air.

"Dad took her," Inuyasha said relaxing against the tree he sat by.

"You let her go with him?" Sesshomaru yelled.

"Well she chose to go with him," Inuyasha replied.

"She said that you were ashamed to have her as a mate," Kikyo said with a frown.

"At is not the case Miko," he said coldly.

"Dad said that he was bringing her to her pups," Inuyasha said watching Sesshomaru's eyes widen.

"He… what?" Sesshomaru growled before taking off to his castle.

"I think he's pissed," Inuyasha said standing up.

"You think?" Kikyo said getting up. "We better go and help Kagome."

"Yes, I think she might like to get the really you for once," Inuyasha said before kissing Kikyo on the lips. She gasped at how quick he was to get there. Her eyes closed in no time and she deepens the kiss.

He pulled away and smirked at Kikyo' frown, "We better get going."

"You better watch your back Inuyasha," Kikyo warned.

"You're not going to kill me," Inuyasha laughed rolling his eyes.

"You'd be surprized what you can live through," Kikyo said before walking in the direction Sesshomaru disappeared in.
