One Day for the Girls

The thump on the cushion gave proof that the human had finally managed to emerge from the Crystal Palace. D rolled over sleepily and wrapped his arms around the human. "Was Honlon happy with her present?" he mumbled and heard a tired snort.

"Happy doesn't even touch it, D. Junrei was practically overjoyed, and Shuko took the chance to get everything back at me for creating Kanan, and Kanan…" Leon broke off, hid his head in his hands and groaned. "D, please tell me I'm not like her!"

The kami chuckled and propped himself up, eyes glittering. "Well, a certain family resemblance cannot be denied…"

Leon made a desperate sound and buried his head in the cushions. "Please tell me I'll never have to give her a Valentine's Day present ever again!"
