15. Who is going to say I love you first, #1 (Count D) or #9 (Honlon)?

I interpret this as Shuko and Kanan. None. Because they both would be too busy fighting and pretending they don't like each other although they do. And I don't mean the incest way this time.

But Count D? Let's see…

Sisterly Competition

It was common that siblings didn't always get along fine. It was completely common that sisters quarrelled and fought and screamed at each other. And it wasn't any different with the three Honlon sisters, though of course it was mostly Kanan and Shuko who fought, while Junrei cried and tried to calm them. However, their fights might be harsh and even dangerous, but never mean, because they were never based on dislike, only on different views of the world.

If there was any hard feeling between them, it was a faint, hidden jealousy for which the Count was more responsible than Honlon. No one could deny that although he respected Shuko and spent hours playing with Junrei, it was Kanan he loved most.

So these two sisters were quite surprised when one day the Count embraced all three of them, whispering, "My dear girls" and meaning all of them equally.

But then, that was the day Leon returned to the shop.

A/N: So, as I said, I want to get this posted in this year - hence the new chapter. Enjoy!
