My son had gotten home around 2pm on Sunday after his trip with his girlfriend and their friends.

"Did you have fun?"

"It was…something…" he answered awkwardly.

"Do I want to know?"

"Probably not. I'm gonna go unpack, shower, and then finish up my homework for tomorrow," he said and ran upstairs to his room.

He had thrown his cell phone on the end table in the living room. I walked timidly over to it and grabbed it quickly. I turned it on and scrolled down to Becky's number to memorize it. I turned off the phone and placed it down in the exact same spot that Noah had put it down in.

I ran to get paper and scribbled her number down.

I searched for my phone. I put her number in there. And then I sent her a text.

TO BECKY: Hello, Becky, this is Mrs. Puckerman. I was hoping that we could talk. How about we meet at the diner tomorrow after school for dinner? My treat. We don't have to mention anything to Noah. Our little secret.

And then I sent the message.

~ Becky ~

When I looked at my cell phone after coming home, I saw that I got a text message. My mouth dropped open as I read what it said. I wasn't comfortable with not telling Noah, but his Mom said not to. I needed someone else's opinion. I loved Santana, but knew she'd bring out Snixx a little. Rachel was going to get too emotional. Britt, bless her heart, wouldn't have understood. Quinn, I thought, was the best choice.

I sent her a quick text.

TO QUINN: 2morrow at school could we chat? I need help with something. Thanks. Lil B.

I put the phone down to only pick it up a second later.

~ Quinn ~

I had stopped at a red light when my phone chimed.

I read it and immediately texted:

TO BECKY: u ok?

I was happy to read that she was so I texted her back.

TO BECKY: As long as you're ok I'll c u 2morrow. Night.

I was looking down at my phone when the light changed to green.

"Baby, it's green!"

"Oh, thanks," I said to my wife.

I dropped the phone and continued to drive to my house. When we got closer I got a funny feeling that something else was about to happen to us.

~ Mrs. Fabray ~

I looked out the window and down the street. I saw their car approaching so I yelled, "They're almost here!"

Britt's parents and me and my husband ran outside to greet them. They pulled into the driveway. They looked at each other and then cautiously got out of the car.

"Welcome home, Britt and Quinn!" we yelled at our two daughters. Then we pulled them both into separate hugs.

"Hi, Mom, hi, Dad, what's going on?" Quinn asked suspiciously.

"Yeah, what's happening," Brittany asked to her parents.

"Well, we've come to a decision," my husband said, "and we all have decided that newlyweds should not sleep in separate houses."

"Yes, that's right," Mr. Pierce seconded.

"Yay!" Brittany yelled happily.

"So how are we going to solve this," Quinn asked still suspiciously.

We had guided her and Brittany to a side door next to the garage.

"We've decided that you two should move in here," I said as I pushed the door open.

My daughter and Brittany turned their heads and looked into the room with amazed expressions on their faces. We had, within a very short period of time, moved all of my daughter's stuff into this apartment while Britt's parents did the same with her stuff.

"Are you serious," Brittany asked dumbly.

"Oh, we are very serious. This way you don't have use a duffle bag every week to be with each other," Mr. Pierce said and smiled.

Quinn walked slowly into the room. She was flabbergasted at what she saw. She saw photos of them together and some separate. She saw all of her clothes, dresser, her bed, and their desks in the room. She couldn't believe it.

"Quinn, are you okay?" I asked as I walked up behind her.

She flew around and grabbed me for a tight hug.

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting us," she whispered into my ear.

"Aww, you're welcome. We're your family…and now we're Britt's too," I whispered back.

"Hey, Quinnie, it works," Brittany yelled as she turned on the stove.

Quinn twirled around and looked at her. The flame she had created was a little too high.

"Britt, turn it off," she said lovingly to her wife.

"Oh, okay," Brittany said and turned off the stove.

Quinn walked over to a piece of paper which sat on the breakfast table in the middle of their kitchen. She picked it up and read it.

"On this day, Quinn Fabray willfully took Brittany Susan Pierce to be her wife. They are now and forever more Quinn and Brittany Fabray."

Her father walked over to her with a pen in his hand.

"Here, it needs your signature…"

Quinn quickly grabbed the pen from his grasp and signed her name on the line that was for her.

"Britt," she said and handed Brittany the pen. She signed where it indicated. She threw the pen down.

She ran up to Quinn and picked her up to spin her around several times. We all looked at them and smiled. I've never seen my daughter as happy as she was in that moment. I owed that all to her wife, Brittany.

The next morning at school I was at my locker alone, which I was okay with since I needed to talk to Quinn.

She snuck up on me and tickled my side quickly. I jumped.

"Hey," I said because I didn't know who it was. I batted her with a heavy textbook.

"Hey, slow down, it's me," Quinn said as she dodged the flying book.

"Oh, Q, I'm sorry," I apologized immediately, "I didn't know!"

"No worries," she said and smiled at me.

I let the breath I didn't know I was holding in out.

"So, how may I be of service?"

I put the book into my locker and grabbed my cell phone. I unlocked it and found the text message from Mrs. Puckerman.

"The first time I met his Mom, she 'hated me'…."

"How is that possible," Quinn said with a sad face.

"I know right. I'm da bomb!"

She smiled brightly.

"It was the same day that Noah and I…ya know," I told her.

"That's…" Quinn said and looked at me.

"Say no more. I got it," I said and smiled, "Anyway, yesterday I got this…"

I handed her my phone for her to read the text message.

"Hmm," she said thoughtfully.

The bell had rung so we started to walk slowly to class.

"This is interesting. What do you think?" she asked.

"First, I don't like having to hide this from Noah," I said as I held up a finger to show her that I had more to say. "Second, I don't know why she'd invite me out and not to her house…"

"Maybe cuz Noah would be there," Quinn offered to help me think it through.

"Good point," I said and shyly smiled.

"So…are you gonna show up to talk with her?"

"I need to work this out with her, but what do you think honestly?" I asked her.

"Well," she started as we arrived at the door of my classroom, "Do you love Noah?"

I nodded my head up and down.

"Aww…then I assume that you'd like to create a relationship with his Mom," she concluded.

"Yes, I would. She doesn't have to love me…I'd like her to appreciate me and appreciate what kind of man Noah is now since we've been dating. He's changed…"

"Yes, Becky, he has definitely changed. So what if I drop you off at the diner today after school?"

"That's kinda why I asked to talk to you. Do you mind?" I asked.

"Not at all," she said and smiled at me.

"Thank you Quinn. Could you not tell Santana or Noah we talked? I love Santana, but I think she might overreact. And Noah, for the obvious reason…"

"It'll stay between us, how's that?"

"Perfect!" I said as I threw my arms around her to hug her tightly. She hugged back and kissed the top of my head. Then we released each other.

"I'll see you at your locker at the end of the day, Little B!" Quinn said before she walked away.

~ Brittany ~

I may or may not have started a wedding rumor when I first got to my locker that morning. By the time I was in my first class without my wife, my phone buzzed.

I pulled it out of my pocket.

I read.

TO BRITT: nice rumor starting… ~ S.

I smiled and typed back, "I just want everyone to know."

I put the phone down and almost immediately it buzzed again.

I picked it up and read.

TO BRITTANY: Hi…um, I'm hearing 'round school that you got married this weekend. Is it true?

I smiled to myself.

TO QUINN: why yes, it is. I got to marry the most loving, caring, giving, beautiful, gorgeous, generous, and sexy woman I know. I am totally and utterly in love with her and I'll always be.

I hit the send button as quickly as I could.

In a few minutes, my phone buzzed.

I picked it up and saw.

TO BRITTANY: she must b one lucky woman to b loved by you. who is she?

I blushed, but texted back.

TO QUINN: it's you, silly. I love you, baby, and can't wait to have sexy times in our bed which is in our apartment as soon as we get outta here.

I sent it and then put the phone down.

It buzzed and I picked it up.

TO BRITTANY: we def will, but Becky needs my help right after school. I promised I wouldn't tell anyone, but I'm counting the seconds until I'm lying in ur arms. I love you sweetheart. Now pay attention to your class!

I smiled and then did just that.

~ Coach Sylvester ~

I was walking confidently down the hallway as people parted for me to pass when I overheard some freshman saying, "Did you hear Quinn Fabray and Brittany Pierce got married this weekend?"

I whipped my head in their general direction.

"What did you say?" I asked meanly and authoritatively.

"Um, Quinn and Brittany got married," the freshman said as he coward in fear of me.

"Lie! Where did you hear that?" I demanded.

"It's all around this place," he said.

He wasn't useful to me anymore so I jogged away from him and to the nearest loudspeaker

I yelled, "Will Quinn Fabray and Brittany Pierce immediately report to my office? MOVE…MOVE…MOVE!"

Then I ran to my office and waited. They arrived a few minutes later, but before they entered my office, Brittany pulled Quinn in her arms and they kissed passionately.

"I missed you," Brittany said as she broke the kiss and let go of Quinn.

Quinn smiled brightly at her. Then she grabbed Brittany's hand and walked into the office.

"You sent for us," Quinn asked me.

"Take a seat," I said.

Brittany picked up the chair and said, "Where to, Coach?"

I blinked at her in surprise.

"No, sweetheart, she meant sit down," Quinn corrected her with a light laugh.

"Oh," Brittany said, put the chair down, and plopped down into it. As soon as Quinn sat down, Brittany reached for her hand to hold.

"So, I've heard a rumor and I thought that if my two Cheerios were considering something as big as marriage they might seek out my counsel first…"

"It's not a rumor," Brittany yelled in excitement. She obviously didn't get what I meant. I knew Quinn did.

"Coach, have you ever been spontaneous?" Quinn asked me.

"Never! Every action I've ever had was thought over intensely and executed to perfection. That's what makes a good leader," I stated boldly.

"Well, that's the difference between us, I guess," Quinn said.

"Go on," I encouraged.

"You see, Coach, Britt has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Our friendship had grown into something more. I gave her a promise ring and told her basically that we'd always be together. Then during this past weekend, I realized that I needed to show that I knew we'd be together forever. So I married her," Quinn said.

"And I married her," Brittany said and raised her left hand to show me the rings.

"Did you intend on getting married this past weekend," I asked.

"I didn't," Brittany said and smiled.

"I knew I was going to do something this weekend. I asked her parents ahead of time and my parents knew as well. They want us to have a ceremony for our friends and families soon. So did I know that was going to get legally married? Not exactly. Only if I felt so inspired to. Is it the best decision I've ever made? You have no idea how much I think it is!"

"Do I need to tell you that marriage is a big commitment?" I asked.

"No sir, um, ma'am," Brittany said and looked down. Quinn squeezed her hand tightly.

"No, Coach, we already know this," Quinn said with a smile on her face.

"Well, are you a Pierce," I asked and looked at Quinn quickly. "Or are you a Fabray?" I asked and looked at Brittany.

"I am a Fabray…proudly so," Britt said happily.

I looked between the two of them sternly for a few seconds. I sat back in my seat and crossed my arms.

"Come on Coach, it's just love," Quinn said exhaustedly.

Then I smiled a bright and huge smile at the two of them and said, "Congratulations!"

They looked shocked, but Quinn smiled first and said, "Thank you."

Brittany jumped up and ran around to my side of the desk. She pulled me into a sideways hug. I tried to brush her off, but her grip was super hero tight. "Thank you, Coach!"

Quinn laughed and then pulled Brittany off of me. She grabbed her hand and pulled her out of my office. Once they were in the hallway, Britt picked her up again bridal style and walked back to class.

"Geez," I said and shook my head as they disappeared from my sight.

I found Becky at her locker after school.

"You ready?" I asked as I walked up to her.

Just before she answered, Noah walked up to us.

"Hey," he said as he pecked Becky on her lips.

"Oh, hey, Noah," Becky said nervously.

Before Noah could sense something was not right, I grabbed Becky's hand and pulled her to the opened school doors.

"Girl time," I yelled behind me to Noah.

"Call me later," he yelled to his girlfriend.

"I will. Love you," Becky yelled back.

Once we got in my car and shut the door she asked, "Was that supposed to feel normal?"

"No," I answered her honestly.

"Good, cuz it didn't," she said and frowned.

"Ok, cheer up," I encouraged. I started to drive towards the diner. It was a silent ride. Becky looked like she was thinking so I didn't want to disturb her.

When we were in the parking lot, I shut off the ignition and asked, "How are you getting home?"

"I haven't thought that far ahead yet," she answered honestly.

"Maybe Mrs. P can take you home," I said.

She smiled a little.

"Thank you, Q, you're a good friend," she said and smiled at me.

Then she grabbed her stuff and got out of my car.

"Good luck," I called out.

I watched her walk up to the staircase and take a big sigh. Then she began to climb up the stairs.

Knock her dead, my friend. I know you can do it! I thought.

Now if you thought that I'd just drop her off and speed home you were mistaken. I had only met the woman once, but even I felt like I'd gotten the cold shoulder from her.

I wanted to make sure that Becky weathered the storm that was Mrs. Puckerman with as minimal harm as possible. I drove into a parking spot and turned off the ignition. No matter how long it took, I intended to wait for my friend, Becky.
