"Besides, with him gone, I can finally assume command."

Cloud wheeled around and punched Genesis.

"There is no way in hell I'm letting a freak like you take command," Cloud said. "This is my team now."

"Then how about we start by taking out this dragon boss?" Cissnei asked.

Cloud nodded and then smirked.

"Cissnei, catch," Cloud said.

He threw his sword as hard as he could over Bahamut SIN. She chased the sword and caught it above Bahamut then shot downward and drove the sword into its head. The moment she pulled it out, Bahamut smashed her off of his head with its right hand. it's left arm was a huge blade. It swung this straight down at Cissnei who was only about halfway down and was unconscious. Genesis unfolded his wing and ran his fingers along his blade coating it in energy as he flew to Cissnei. He flew over her just in time to block Bahamut SIN's blade. Cloud caught Cissnei and set her on the ground then picked up his sword and turned back toward Bahamut. He ran at it and just before he got there, it stomped on the ground and the shock wave sent him flying.

He landed on his stomach and felt his left shoulder explode into pain then the pain disappeared as suddenly as it appeared. He stood and looked back at his shoulder to see a black wing sticking out of his back.

"Yikes," Cloud said. "I guess I'll take it."

Cloud flew into the air to where Genesis was still holding Bahamut's blade back. He flew past Genesis to Bahamut's face and slashed his eye. It roared in pain and swatted at Cloud but Cloud avoided his hand and slashed his other eye. It roared in pain again then caught Cloud.

"CLOUD!" Tifa screamed.

Minerva appeared beside Cloud and stabbed Bahamut's hand. The wound glowed gold but the light faded almost immediately. Bahamut screamed in pain and threw Cloud skyward then smashed Minerva into the ground. Cloud flew down to Genesis and swung his sword at Bahamut's blade. The moment his sword hit, Bahamut's blade shot upward and both Cloud and Genesis flew out of the way. The blade swung back down and imbedded itself into the ground with a huge crash and a two point eight earthquake.

"Damn this thing's strong!" Genesis said.

"Who summons a Bahamut SIN?" Cloud asked.

"Seph..." Genesis stopped when Sephiroth floated down and stopped at eye level with them.

This was just another copy but it was the only perfect copy. It looked similar to the real Sephiroth but not exactly. This one had two bat wings.

"I'll handle Sephiroth," Cloud said. "Cissnei! Help Minerva and Genesis with Bahamut SIN!"

Cissnei flew up to the others and nodded. Just then an Angeal copy floated down beside Sephiroth and pointed at Cloud's Buster Sword.

"No way dude," Cloud said. "It's mine!"

"No it's not," Angeal said. "You can have these."

He tossed Cloud five swords and Cloud instantly recognized them as fusion blades. He put them together then put the Buster Sword over his back.

"Thanks for the spare sword dude," Cloud said.

Angeal drew Zack's sword and Cissnei froze and began to tremble as tears ran down her cheeks.

"So you two were together," Angeal said. "Such a shame he had to die."

"That's enough," Cloud said. "Genesis-"

He was cut off by Cissnei flying past them and attacking Angeal. She didn't use her Shuriken, she used the Buster Sword that she had grabbed on her way past Cloud. She was a very skilled fighter and was able to hold her own against Angeal. Cloud attacked Sephiroth and Genesis and Minerva flew up to Bahamut's head and began doing anything they could to kill it.

Angeal swung mainly at Cissnei's wing so that she would fall to her death but Cissnei was able to keep away from him. At the same time she was able to keep him dodging her attacks as well. Sephiroth and Cloud moved too fast to keep track of as they traded blows. Eventually Sephiroth pinned Cloud against Bahamut by driving his masamune through Cloud's right shoulder.

"Weak," Sephiroth said. "Now you-"

"Die," Genesis finished before removing Sephiroth's head and freeing Cloud. "Here."

Genesis handed Cloud a healing potion and Cloud drank it then flew up to where Minerva was blasting Bahamut with ever spell she knew. Bahamut howled in pain with every one and finally swung his sword arm at her. Cloud blocked it and Genesis drove his sword into Bahamut's right eye until the blade was completely inside Bahamut.

"This thing doesn't die very easily!" Genesis said.

"It will soon enough!" Cloud said.

Just then Cissnei screamed in pain as Angeal landed a direct hit and removed her wing. She fell on the edge of consciousness until she felt herself land. She didn't land anywhere soft but it was soft enough that she wasn't injured. Her vision focused and she saw that she was in Zack's arms. He wasn't looking at her, though. He was staring up at Angeal who was staring back as if daring Zack to fight him.

"Yuffie!" Zack said as he landed.

Yuffie ran over and Zack handed her a materia and explained that it could reattach Cissnei's wings if she had Tifa hold the wing in place then used the materia. Then he took the Buster Sword and rocketed at Angeal. Angeal blocked the first swing but Zack was beyond pissed and thus easily bisected Angeal with his second swing. He caught his sword as Angeal fell and Cissnei flew up next to him.

"Here," Zack said. "You'll need it for this."

Cissnei took the Buster Sword and the two of them flew to Bahamut.

"You're late Zack!" Cloud said as he narrowly avoided Bahamut's blade.

"Suck it!" Zack said as he flew past Bahamut's hand arm and completely removed it with one swing.

Bahamut screamed like a nail on glass but stopped when Zack threw Sephiroth's masamune down its throat then floated back next to Cissnei and just watched. Bahamut began to choke and trying to cough the sword back up but to no avail. After a couple seconds it gasped when it needed to inhale and the masamune shredded its way down Bahamut's throat to his left lung then Bahamut coughed again and the masamune shredded its way out of the lung and through the heart then finally out through Bahamut's throat.

"Better than the fourth of July," Zack said.

Bahamut shone light blue for a moment then faded. Then Zack sighed and turned toward Cissnei. The moment he did, she kissed him. He kissed her back for a moment then she pulled away and slapped him.

"DON'T YOU EVER DO THAT AGAIN!" Cissnei said sobbing.

"I'm sorry," Zack said his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm so sorry."

Cissnei buried her face in his neck as she sobbed and he held her close to him. Finally she managed to stop crying and pushed off of him.

"C'mon," Cissnei said. "We should move on. We still have three people to kill."

"True," Genesis said. "Hojo and Mr. Shinra should be together at the moment but will likely be heavily guarded. Zack, you Cloud, Minerva and myself will go after Sephiroth since he will likely wake up."

"I'm coming too," Cissnei said.

"Are you sure?" Zack asked.

"Yes," Cissnei said.

"Fine," Genesis said. "Now let's go."

They all formed two groups and Genesis led his toward Sephiroth while the others headed toward Hojo and Rufus Shinra. One way or another, it was about to be over.
