Hey. It's me. Yea. I just called to tell you that... a chapter is posted. Yea.

"The invasion begins." Rose finished.

"Invasion? What invasion?" asked Let.

"Their invasion. The destruction of the Earth." explained Rose.

"We need to talk." said a voice inside Barb. "Now."

"Hold on a sec..."

"NOW!"

"Alright alright. Sheesh." thought Barb and said out loud: "I'll be right back guys." as he walked out of the room.

"Alright what do you want?" asked Barb.

"Do you remember what happened to Mars?" said the voice.

"Of course. How could i forget?"

"Do you want that to happen to earth?"

Barb stayed silent. Of course he did not want that.

"That's what i thought. If you want to protect Earth you need to get stronger."

"But how? Aren't i using my full power?"

"No. You didn't use your full power since you were 0.2 years old."

"Wait so i did use it sometime?"

"Correct. Though you were too unstable. You couldn't control it and you went on a rampage a lot."

"So how am i suppose to get stronger if i can't control my power?"

"That happened a long time ago. Maybe now you are ready."

"Alright then. Teach me how to use it."

"I cannot. In your body there is a keeper of your power. Even i cannot use it."

"What the hell?! What are you talking about?"

"When you were very young and couldn't control your powers, your parents put a keeper in your body to harness your power. It was the best solution though there was another one."

"And that was?"

"Death. You were too unstable to keep alive. There were only 2 choices and your parents picked one of them. As you see you're still alive."

"Wait... So there's a keeper in me? Well then let's go meet him and make him give my powers back."

"It's not that easy. Sig is the total opposite of you. You won't be able to easily take that power."

"Sig?"

"That's his name. If you are certain that you can control your power and you are ready to face Sig... Then let's go."

"What? Where to?"

"The gate to your power. SIG!"

Suddenly everything went dark the only things that you could see were Barb and his martian self.

"Did you call me?" said someone appearing in the darkness.

"I did. He wants to try to control his power."

"Ah? I see. So this is the brat i was suppose to keep from destroying the whole Mars? By the way where are we? Why aren't we on Mars? Did i do something wrong and this kid really did destroy it?"

"No. He..." Barb's martian self wanted to say something but Barb interupted him.

"Listen you smug jerk, you better hand me those powers because Earth will destroyed soon and i need them. So you better lower your ego and give them to me."

Suddenly Sig got a really serious look on his face as he said:

"Do you even know who you're talking to? If i would want i wouldn't even give you any powers at all. If you keep talking to me like that i think i might consider to take away ALL of your powers. So you better watch your mouth."

"Come on Sig. Just hand him some of his power."

"No. By the way. You didn't tell me what happened to Mars. Why are we on Earth?"

"The people of Mars were... all killed.I managed to escape here."

"So you just ran away like a coward while everyone died? Do you even what your life could've changed if you wouldn't had ran away? You pathetic fool."

"YOU BASTARD! It wasn't my fault. Mars was probably destroyed by the same who are gonna destroy Earth. I made a mistake once okay? I don't wanna make another one like that again."

"Heh. Well you kid have guts. Alright. Tell you what. If you can beat me right now, i might consider giving you some of your power after all. Deal?"

"Tch... Just watch. Ready?"

"I am always ready you fool."

Barb ran towards him and threw a punch that Sig blocked. Sig leaned back a kicked Barb in the stomach.

"Shit..." said Barb as he fell.

*Some time later*

"Damn it..." said Barb as he fell down again.

"Just as i thought it's useless. He will never be able to do it. Take him back. I don't care if Earth is destroyed. I don't want to hand the power to some pathetic little kid. So you can run back to your worthless friends and..." he stopped.

Barb ran towards him. Sig went for a high kick but there was nothing there. Barb was behind he spun his leg through Sig's leg that was the only one left on the ground. Sig started to fall down. Barb grabbed him by the neck raised his fist and... stopped it almost hitting Sig's face.

"You can say all you want about me. But if you say anything about my friends i will destroy you. I don't care anymore about the power. I will try to save the Earth with the power that i have. Let's go."

"Heh. You really aren't so pathetic as i thought. I'll lend you some power. But if you mess up again... You can forget about any power."

"Yea. Yea. Just give me the power."

"I'll give it to you, when the right time comes."

"Huh?"

"Go now."

Suddenly Barb was back in the real world. He was surprised no time had passed.

"It was probably because it was all in my head." thought Barb as he walked back to the room. "I don't really feel stronger physically, but i feel stronger mentally. And that is what i need most."
