Sunset in France

'Where is that damn Scorpio?' thought Camus, standing near the entrance of the beach. Milo couldn't get lost here, they were walking on the street heading straight to that place after all! Even if Camus told him to go alone, it was impossible to get lost!

He checked the nearest part of the beach, but as far as he could see there wasn't any person on the warm sand. Milo's cosmo was close, so it didn't seem like he got lost in the street. Was he hiding?

"Camus!" The cheerful voice of the blue-haired man reached the Aquarius.

Milo was waving to him, coming out from the small street, with paper bag in his hand.

"Where have you been?" asked Camus. "I thought you got lost."

"Lost?" chuckled Milo. "On the straight path to the beach? Camus, it would be the stupidest thing to do. I believe I'm smarter than you think, darling."

Something wasn't right. The cheerful tone of Milo's voice was pretended to be so cheerful. And in his bright blue eyes was hiding a shadow Camus couldn't recognize.

"I just went to the winery. I thought it would be a great idea to drink the wine on the beach, watching the sunset."

"A wine? I think it is forbidden to drink a wine in the public places."

Milo shook his head.

"Camus, there is no one expect us. Soon it will get dark. Besides the wine will add the proper mood," answered the Scorpio with his wide smile. "It is like a romantic date, don't you think? A wine is necessary! And look, I bought your favorite wine!"

The aquamarine-haired man looked at his lover with surprise. He never expected Milo to think that way. The romantic evening fit perfectly to the human girls, which are waiting for their knights with the white armor and pure minds, but… It fit Milo too. It was adding him some kind of charm.

But this shadow… Camus still could see it, deep inside the bright, blue eyes. What happened to the Scorpio during that short time?

"Let's go." Milo caught Camus' hand and pulled him in the beach's direction. "We will miss the sunset, Camus," said the Scorpio with smile.

The big, orange sun almost reached the horizon. Milo was right; if they would wait any longer they would miss that chance. Camus smiled to the Scorpio and still holding by his warm hand, they entered the beach.

The sunset on the French's beach was really spectacular. Camus couldn't remember when the last time he had such a beautiful evening. The orange sunbeams were falling softly at the gold sand, making the long shadows of everything around. The hum of the waves were spreading loudly everywhere, making a nice melody, fitting perfectly to the mood of the approaching night.

The Aquarius could feel the nice warmth inside his body. In the really short time he drunk almost the whole bottle of his favorite wine; his thoughts were unfocused a little and the hum of the water was distant. Actually this state for a person like him should be really shameful, he was the Gold Saint of Athena, but Camus didn't care. Life was exactly for making a few mistakes every day, right? And he felt really good, having his lover Milo by his side, being able to touch him every moment he wanted to. He could feel the Scorpio's warmth in his eyes, making him happy, making him forget about being the Saint of the Goddess. It was… It was nice to be with Milo.

Camus took another sip from the bottle and moved his eyes from the horizon with the spectacular sunset, and looked at his lover, Milo. The blue curls were arranged softly around his young, Greek's face like the dark aureole. The sunbeams were making his face to look really pretty, like the face of the porcelain doll; his skin was perfect without any defect, and it seemed to be fragile, so Camus was almost scared of touching him. He never thought that his friend's face could look so pretty just because of a few sunbeams. Like they were in some Wonderland… And this shadow from Milo's eyes… It seemed to be gone…

The Scorpio twitched a little, and looked at him with hazy eyes.

"What's wrong?" he asked with smile.

Camus didn't respond, he just raised his hand, and touched slightly his lover's cheek, trying to make sure that it wouldn't break under his fingers. Then he sunk his hand into the blue curls, approached Milo's face and placed the shy kiss on the warm lips of the Scorpio.

But before this small kiss became something more, Milo moved away from him, turning his eyes from Camus to the sand.

The Aquarius Saint didn't understand. It was something beyond his imagination. Milo never, never run away from their kiss, usually it was him who wanted to kiss almost all the time. But now… What happened?

"Milo…?"

The Scorpio grabbed some of the golden sand, allowing it to fly down between his fingers.

"Camus, I wanna knew something," he said still not looking at his lover. "Who was she?"

Who. Was. She.

So finally Milo asked about her. Camus sighed with the resignation.

"She is just a friend…" he answered quietly, wondering if he could lie to Milo about Claire.

But Milo snorted with disbelief.

"Friend, you say? I didn't know that you are kissing with all your friends. So, I'm just your friend too?" Milo said with the anger and irony. He looked at Camus with almost furious eyes.

The Aquarius could feel as his blood was turning ice in his limbs. He never expected these words.

"You spied me?! How dare you?" Camus almost screamed in Milo's face.

Milo laughed empty.

"Yes, I did it," snarled the young Scorpio. "I did it because I was curious what are you hiding again from me. Because it seems that I'm still nothing more that just a fellow for you."

"You didn't have the right to spy me, Milo! I think, I made sure I will tell you everything later!"

"You never said that. You never said, that you will tell me. You just avoided all my questions… Like always."

Camus blinked a few times. Actually… Milo was right. He never told Scorpio that he would tell everything about Claire… Shit, he made serious mistake. Again.

"Shit." Camus said to himself, hiding his face in his arms, grabbing his aquamarine hair and almost tearing them out of his skin with the sick frustration. The hot tears filled unexpectedly his eyes, almost falling down his cheeks. How he could do that again? How he could make Milo think that he is just some man in Camus' life? Just an ordinary brother-in-arm. "Shit!"

Milo looked at that unexpected behavior of his lover. Usually Camus would scold him really strongly for spying, for pocking his nose in Camus' business. But now…

He caught gently Camus' hands and pulled them out of the aquamarine hair. The Aquarius twitched a little, didn't expect Milo's touch. He raised his head, but didn't look at his blue-haired lover.

"I met her weeks ago…" started Camus with quiet voice. "It was the time when I wanted to end our friendship, when I was just running away from us…."

Milo twitched unwillingly. He remembered these weeks, after that stupid quarrel, regretting all his words he said to the Aquarius that day.

"After I complete my mission I asked the Pope for a few days of duty. I wanted to think a little as an ordinary human… And I met her in this town. She was really talkative, really smart and so pretty. And she had the bright blue eyes." Camus looked finally at Milo. "She had the same eyes as you."

The Scorpio with some imagination could tell now how this story ended. But he waited for Camus words.

"We spend the night together, Milo. In her bed… It was so nice there. And then I stayed with her for a few weeks. It was really nice to be with her, we could talk about many things, and we could have the walks around this city. And we could be really close every night. She… She helped me to forget about someone far away from me, someone I hurt really badly, and someone I missed so much…"

Camus clenched his finger on his own arms, digging his nails into the cold skin. At the same time the sun hid behind the horizon finally. Milo knew that at the other side of the darkening sky was shining the moon alongside with the stars that were slowly appearing above them

"Back then I thought it was something I really wanted. I was sure that if I wouldn't be the Saint of Athena I could stay with her to the end of my life. But she said… She said something that was inside my mind for a long time, something about you, and at the end I wasn't sure if I did the right thing to leave you alone in the Sanctuary."

Milo's heart twitched. There were so many emotions in Camus' words. The Scorpio never expected him to talk like that. For many years Camus was hiding his true feelings towards everybody, but now his words were filled with everything he felt right now. It was like a dream.

"And she told me that she loves me."

Camus silenced for a while. His eyes were pointed at something far, far away. The Scorpio wasn't sure if he wanted to hear anything more, actually it was Camus business if he kissed her, or not... He just didn't want to see his lover with that sad face.

"So I run away from her. I didn't want to hear something like that; I didn't want to be loved by her. These words were too strong for me…"

The Aquarius took one, deep breath. It seemed he finished his talk.

"So… Why did you want to come here? To see her?" asked Milo, placing his warm hand on Camus' shoulder.

"As I said, I run away from her. And since I know I love you, I wanted to say her goodbye properly. That kiss… It was just a farewell to a person, which made my life easier…"

Milo bit his lip. For all this weeks when Camus was trying to end their friendship, he believed that he was the person most hurt. He couldn't understand why his friend was treating him so harsh; sometimes he was really angry at the Aquarius. But he never thought that for Camus it was really hard to live far away from the Sanctuary. Even after Mu told him all the reasons, why the Aquarius tried to end their friendship, Milo never had any thought, that in fact Camus was hurt as well.

He sighed deeply.

"So… It seems that I made a fool of myself again…" said Milo with the slight smile on his lips. Camus looked at him, trying to focus his sight on the bright, blue eyes of his lover.

The Scorpio smiled widely to him, raising his hand from Camus' shoulder to his cold cheek covered by the red blush. The dark eyes of his lover were shining like the stars above their heads, looking at him innocently. He never thought that Camus could look at him this way.

Milo couldn't bear this kind of look on Camus' face. He caught his chin firmly and kissed his fragile lips strongly. After a while he felt the cool hands sinking into his blue curls, and then the hot tongue touched him. He shivered from the pleasure, allowing his lover to get inside his mouth and waiting with his own tongue. It was making him to feel really good; the heat was spreading around his whole body causing the loud moans to escape from his mouth. He deepened their kiss, letting his tongue to dance greedily, hearing their moans, and feeling Camus' fingers in his blue, soft curls.

The sky was dark already, filled with the stars when they finally ended this pleasure with quiet sighs escaping from their mouths. Milo smiled widely to his lover.

"I really like our kisses, Camus. I would die if I had to live without them."

Camus chuckled slightly, emptying his bottle and reaching the next one. So what if he would get drunk as never before? Sometimes it was necessary…

He took another few sips of the wine, feeling the nice warmth spreading around his limbs. With the edge of his eye he could see that Milo were drinking too, his second bottle were already half-empty. But it seemed that he wasn't affected by the wine as much as the Aquarius. Actually Camus rarely was drinking so much; in fact in the past he did it just once. In that town, with Claire.

The aquamarine-haired Saint put the bottle on the sand, and looked at the starry sky.

"Antares…" he murmured.

"Huh?" Milo looked at him, not understanding what Camus was saying now.

The Aquarius stretched his swaying hand, trying to point at something.

"Antares… There… On the sky," added Camus with quiet voice.

Milo took a look at the sky, where Camus' hand was approximately pointing. Indeed, he could see the main star of his constellation, shining above their heads. Then he looked at his lover again. He could see the red blushes on Camus' cheeks and the shining eyes focused on the sky. Milo never saw his Aquarius in that state.

He chuckled.

"Camus… you are drunk."

"So what?" murmured Camus, and he took another sip of the wine.

The Scorpio smiled.

"Darling, have you ever drunk so much alcohol earlier?" he asked, observing the disappearing in Camus' mouth wine. He knew that probably he would have to carry him to the hotel, if it would continue like that.

"Actually… not that much…" murmured Camus, putting the bottle on the sand and again looking at the sky.

Camus was really beautiful in the moonlight falling at him softly, with his red blushes and shining eyes. Milo knew that he wass able to adore his lover for the rest of his life. It would kill him, if someone would take his Camus away from him…

Milo caught gently Camus' hand.

"Camus…?"

"What's wrong?" the Aquarius looked at him.

The Scorpio took one deep breath and said:

"Don't leave me again. Never."

Silence. Milo focused his eyes on their linked hands, waiting for another 'don't be a child, Milo'.

But then he felt the cool fingers on his cheek, and Camus forced him to look inside the dark eyes of his lover.

"I won't, darling." The Aquamarine-haired man touched Milo's lips with his own, gently, slightly. His hand sunk into the blue curls of the Scorpio at the same time, when his hot tongue broke into his lover's mouth.

It was their first kiss passionate in that way. Of course, they had many kisses before, shy kisses, deep kisses and greedy kisses. But they never had kiss so delicate, almost eternal, and at the same time deep and lustful. Milo couldn't think and it seemed that Camus lost himself in that pleasure too. After a long while he felt like his lover, Camus was pushing him. With really deep kiss they lay down on the warm sand; the Aquarius even for a short moment didn't stopped kissing him, holding gently Milo's hand. The Scorpio moaned loudly, feeling the other hand of Camus, slipping under his shirt, and touching his warm skin, making him shiver from the pleasure.

Finally, after all this time it seemed that his Camus was ready.

And it really looked that way; Camus was kissing him with the lust, playing with Milo's hard nipple, and moaning quietly.

But when the cold hand slipped down to Milo's pants it was Camus who suddenly stopped everything.

"Milo, we can't do that on the beach!" he said, scared, that he didn't think about it earlier. "It is prohibited!"

"What? No!" murmured Milo really disappointed. "Why we can't make love in romantic and beautiful place like this?"

"Sorry Milo, we could go to a jail, if someone would catch us."

Milo gasped angrily.

"Then… Wanna back to the hotel?" he asked, placing the delicate kiss on Camus lips.

The Aquarius smiled, accepting this offer. Now, when his lust was freed, he really wanted to continue what they started here. So what if a few hours ago he was sure it is too early to make love with Milo? He was ready, now on that beach, under the starry sky.

Milo sat quickly, going to run all the way to the hotel, carrying his lover on the back if it would be necessary. If Camus was ready, then he couldn't let this chance go away…

"No, Milo. I changed my mind." he heard quiet voice. "Sorry, but I…"

"Yes, I know. You are not ready yet,' murmured Milo with the resignation. Damn all this stupid laws that were prohibiting people to make love on the beach. "I told you, I will wait for you as long as you need."

Camus chuckled slightly, kissing quickly his lover.

"I'm glad to hear that, but it isn't what I mean, Milo. I'm ready. And I really want to do that with you, darling. But not in that hotel."

"Huh?" Milo was surprised. He wasn't expecting these words.

Camus took Milo's face in his hands, rubbing the warm cheeks.

"I wanna do that only in your Temple, Milo," said the Aquarius, moving his hand to the blue curls of Milo and playing with them gently.

"What?"

"I want to make love with you, Milo," repeated Camus. "But I want to do that in your bed."

The Scorpio gasped in the surprise on this declaration. It touched his heart really deeply.

"Then… Let's do that, Camus. In my Temple," he said with the smile, and kissed his lover passionately.

He could wait.
