Chihiro POV:
The sky was growing dark as we flew back to the bathhouse. Though the thought that I just left Zeniba and No Face there without any help didn't seem to sooth my troubled mine. It scared that maybe I was the worst monster her than Miyazaki. Though I had to remind myself that I couldn't of been any help if I was chained to that freak for the rest of my life.
I winced pulling closer to the dragon I loved. I knew I could rely on Haku to come up with a plan. All I wished for was to be no fighting. I couldn't handle it knowing that Miyazaki was only doing this due to him hating Haku. Hate was a neutral thing that everyone felt, even spirits. I was a part of life. For some reason Miyazaki was jealous of Haku. Though I did wish that Miyazaki didn't.
"Haku... Thank you." I whispered softly.
I knew he heard me even if the wind was whipping at us. I closed my eyes and slipped off into a dreamless sleep.
When I woke up I was on a futon with the rest of the girl spirits. I laid there the world outside the walks dark. Everything was coming back to me and I closed my eyes tight. I sighed softly getting up quietly. I walked around the other girl spirits and out to the balcony. I sat down my legs hanging over the edge. I was still wearing the kimono and the light breeze was raising goosebumps on my arms.
I heard something land behind my softly and I didn't need to turn to know who it was. The walked over to me and sat down. I turned to look at Haku who was eyeing me worriedly.
"I'm fine Haku..." I muttered softly.
He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close. I was shocked at first and then I started relaxing after a few minutes.
"We have to go back to save them you know..." I whispered and he sighed.
"I know." He said and I looked up at him from the place my head was resting on his chest.
"What are we going to do?" I asked him and he moved his hand so he could place it on the side of my face.
"Your going to rest a couple of days that is what you are going to be doing. I however am going to come up with a plan and hope to fight-" He said looking up at the sky.
"No Haku wait." I said sitting up looking at him with wide eyes.
"Chihiro?" He asked confused.
"Don't fight Miyazaki." I said and I never thought that he would ever get mad about it.
I was dead wrong.
Haku POV:
I stared at the girl in front of me. How could she say that she didn't want me to fight this man? After all the stuff he did to her? I wanted grab her and shack her but I took a deep breath and looked away.
"Haku... He's jealous of you. He-" She was saying.
"Does that matter! He dragged you into this like a prize that he just won! He went home then did that to you! You say you don't want me to fight him after all of that?!" I told her taking her wrists and empathizing what I meant.
"...that was my fault..." She whispered and I stared at her.
She was looking away from me and I huffed standing up. I begun to pace growing more irritated with each passing second.
"I was tied to the bed Haku. I was trying to get away and that is what happened." She told me after a moment and I whipped around to face her.
"He. Tied. You. To. A. Bed." I growled out.
"Haku please just calm down it's not that big of a deal. He only did it because he's jealous of-" She was telling me standing up.
"Him being jealous does not mean he has to bring you in. He has always hated me just because I was working for Yubaba. He wanted to over power Yubaba and take over her place as owner of the bathhouse. I was smart enough to know not to. He however was not. He was transformed into the thing he is today for that." I told her and her eyes widen.
She turned away from me with a confused expression. I stared at her a long moment before I walked over to her and turned her to me.
"...Listen can we not get into this right now. I just got you back and I don't want to spend the night fighting with you." She said and I smiled slightly.
I bent down and kissed her lightly on the lips and the pulled back.
"Alright." I told her.
