My eyes slowly flutter open and the small lights around temporally blinded me I quickly shut them close and rub them with the palms of my hands. When I open then again I look around and it hits me "Where the hell am I?" I mutter then quickly shoot up to a sitting position but it feels like a new weight is holding me there I look down to my waist and see there is an arm around me I'm about to throw it off when Jason's husky voice breaks through the air, "Sunshine?" then I remember, 'Damn I fell asleep.' I think to myself I look back to when he starts moving to get up. "Sorry I guess I was a little tired." I say slightly embarrassed, "Well apparently I was to." He says with a soft chuckle as he stands up and stretches.
He reaches down to his pocket and pulls out his phone and a small light flicks on his face when he activates it his brow furrows, "Shit I'm late for work I got to go." he states hastily, "Oh… well um I can find my way home." I say meekly before I mentally berate myself for sounding so pathetic. "Don't be silly, I'll drop you off on my way in. Anyways can't have my pretty lady wondering around and getting lost." He says with an arrogant grin and sticks his phone back in his pocket and sticks out his hand I roll my eyes and take it he pulls me up but keep a hold of my hand all the way out of the building.
When we get to his motorcycle he hands me a helmet I strap it on and hop on the back and wrap my arms around his waist and lay my head on his back. It was a quick ride to my building mainly because Jason loves to go past the speed limit. I got off I was about to walk away but in a last minute decision I leaned over and pecked where his cheek would be on his helmet, "Bye." I say softly before I turn and hastily head towards my door.
I get to my door I look back and see that he's gone I reach into my pocket to pull out my keys when my phone beeps I pull it out and look at the message. "See you soon Sunshine. - J" I smile then put it back and open my door. I head in and throw my keys and phone on my bed I look around for a towel and something to wear to bed then go into the bathroom to take a shower. I step in a wash up then turn off the tap and get dressed ten minutes later I'm curled up on a chair in front of my small T.V.
I grab the remote flipping through the channels kind of like the boys use to I smirk a little at the thought then keep flipping. A news report catches my attention so I pause for a bit. A blonde anchor woman was in what looked like the middle of jump city running to what looked like a scene of an exposition. She talks quickly saying, " I'm here live at the scene where are favorite super hero's get in a bit of trouble when going after the villain Red-X there was a supposed bomb planted that went off just a few minutes ago!"
She's suddenly cut off by a bright green star beam flashing by and the camera is quickly moved to a fight between Red-X and Starfire. Red-X is trying to fight her off and it seems like she's about to win but X throws her off then dashes off into the crowd they zoom in on him, he's running pretty fast but its noticeable that he is slightly limping and there is a huge gash across his chest and other sizable cuts scattered on him. The camera turns back to the woman but I shut of the T.V. before she says anything I stare wide eye at the black screen 'I have to find Jason.'
Guys I hope you enjoyed this R&R for my cat! ^._.^ I hope I don't sound like a crazy cat lady when I say that at the end of my fan fictions… O.o Anyways…
