We have finally come to the ending of this story my dear readers. :) I must say that I had fun writing this, and I will have even more fun writing the sequel to this story as well. I have a few chapters done already with the new story, but I'd like to have a couple more chapters done before I post them up here.

Thank you guys who have been reading this story and those of you who review. I greatly appreciate it! :D

We pull up to the Beacon Hills Warehouse District. Isaac opens the door and gets out, leaving it open for me as well.

Mr. Argent turns in my direction and says, "You shouldn't be here Meladee. You should be back home, where it's safe."

"To be honest Mr. Argent, I'd rather be here. I'd be home all by myself, or with Julie and we'd end up coming here anyways because we'd be too antsy. So then you'd have me and my friend to 'look after', as you put it. I'm actually capable of handling myself. I'm pretty good with a gun, my uncle taught me to shoot when I was younger, and I've been in Taekwondo and Jujitsu for a very long time now. I'll be okay," I rant.

He shakes his head, "Just be careful Meladee. I don't want anything to happen to you."

I give a soft smile, "I'll be fine. I've got Isaac and Scott here to help me if need be."

"Uh, guys, I think… I think he stopped moving," Isaac announces.

We look around the vicinity before Mr. Argent asks, "Where's Derek?"

Running can be heard from down an alley. I turn to look and point in the werewolf's direction, "There he is."

Derek stops in front of us, stands, and glares at Chris.

"I'm here for Jackson, not you," he says.

"Somehow I don't find that very comforting," Derek snaps. He glances at Scott and Isaac and retorts, "Get him inside."

The boys both nod before getting the bag.

We're standing around the bag, wondering where the others are.

"Where are they?" I ask.

Derek looks around and asks, "Who?"

My eyebrows scrunch together, "We all made a plan: Peter would go get Lydia and they would be here when we got here. Where are they?"

He shrugs before walking towards Jackson, crouching down and unzipping the bag.

"Whoa, wait. You said you knew how to save him?" Scott asks incredulously.

"We're past that point now." Comes his harsh reply.

Scott throws his hands up, "But what about-"

Derek cuts him off, yelling, "Think about it Scott! Gerard controls him now. He's turned Jackson into his own personal guard dog. And he set all of this in motion so that Jackson could get even more bigger, and more powerful."

Chris shakes his head, "No. No, he wouldn't do that. If Jackson's a dog he's turning rabid. And my father wouldn't let a rabid dog live."

"Of course not. Anything that dangerous, that out of control, is better off dead."

I gasp when I turn to look who said that. Allison's grandfather. What is he doing here?

Derek's claws come out and he steps over Jackson, ready to strike, when Jackson's hand lashes out and lands in Derek's chest. Jackson is fully awake now, with Derek still in his grasp. He picks Derek up from the ground and hauls him over his head, throwing him farther inside the building.

Gulping, I step closer to Isaac and take a hold of his shirt. I hear him say that he won't let anything happen to me and I nod. What the hell? Okay, now is not the time to be a damsel in distress. You can do this Meladee, you can do this!

"Well done to the last, Scott," replies a nodding Gerard.

My gaze lands on Scott's form. What is happening?

Allison's grandfather walks forward, "Like the concerned friend you are you brought Jackson to Derek to save him. You just didn't realize that you were also bringing Derek to me." He stops in his tracks as an arrow flies past Scott's head and lands into my boyfriend's shoulder.

I scream, "Isaac!" I try to hold Isaac from falling, but I end up going down with him. Hearing him groan, I pull his head into my lap, and stutter out, "It's okay. Scott, help me pick him up!"

"Allison?" replies Scott, confused as to why his girlfriend is here in the first place. He turns and quickly makes his way over to us. He grabs my hand, grabs onto Isaac's shirt and hauls him to his feet. "Come on."

Shots are fired behind us. I let out a soft squeal as Scott helps us get somewhere safe.

"I'm okay. I'm fine Meladee," Isaac manages to say – hoping to calm my nerves, if only just a little. He lets out a soft groan as Scott tears the arrow from his shoulder.

I watch in awe, as the hole quickly heals. "Yeah, I see that."

Running.

"Meladee, stay away from Jackson, you got it?" Scott says hastily.

Nodding, I let go of Isaac's shoulder and kiss his cheek. His eyes lock onto mine, and I know that he's telling me to be careful. I smile softly, before running off behind a few crates. I hear them run off to help Chris and Derek. My eyes scan the surrounding area. There has got to be something here that I can protect myself with. If only I had my katana or I could find a very sturdy- My smile widens when I catch a glimpse of a metal rod poking out from under a pile of trash. Bingo!

I lift my head and see Scott kick Jackson from behind before he can go after Derek. Jackson doesn't find this amusing because he turns around, grabs Scott's throat and throws him into a far wall. I flinch when I hear the impact and gulp. Hopefully they win… Derek lunges at Jackson once more, only to get scratched. Or not…

Isaac gets up from a thing of crates, hatred behind his eyes. But before he can get anywhere Allison comes from nowhere and slashes his chest. My eyes turn to slits. That bitch! How could she do that to him when she knows how much I care about him? I'm going to kick her ass! I get up from my hiding space and dash towards her. I see her stab both of her knives into his back. He falls to the ground.

Before she can do any more damage, I jump over Isaac's beaten body side kicking her in the abdomen. I hear Isaac moan my name.

"Meladee?" She mutters.

Glaring in her direction I spit, "You will pay for that." I get in a defensive position and spin the metal rod between my hands.

She laughs, "You think you can take me? I'm a hunter."

"You shouldn't get too cocky. That could get you killed," I reply darkly. Hair in my eyes, I look up in her face and meet her hard glare. I jab the rod in her direction; she jumps out of the way just in time. I spin the metal rod to my left hand and go for a neck attack. I strike her just below her chin and she falls back, stunned that I could do such a thing. "You wouldn't think that little ole' me could protect herself, could you?"

She stands up and walks forward, only to stop when Scott yells at her. She glances at him. Before she can say anything, Jackson pop up from behind and grabs a hold of her neck. Allison freezes when Jackson's scaly hands touch her skin. She looks to me for help.

I give her my answer. I drop the metal rod and back up to where Isaac is. Crouching down by his side, I notice that his wounds are starting to heal. I turn him around on his back and say, "Sorry. She pissed me off."

He laughs weakly, "I noticed." Isaac's face softens as he replies softly, "I'll be okay. They just need time to heal."

I feel something wet go down my face and I realize that I'd been crying. Gulping, I nod and bring his head closer to mine.

"Not yet sweetheart," Gerard says while walking in our line of sight.

Now he comes out of hiding. What a coward!

Allison is shocked, "What are you doing?"

Her grandfather looks at Scott and nods. Scott nods back and replies, "He's doing what he came here to do."

"Then you know?"

Allison replies, "What is he talking about?" She's confused as to what's happening – we all are.

Gerard glances back and forth between Allison and Scott. "It was that night outside the hospital wasn't it? The night I threatened your mother. I knew I saw something in your eyes. You could smell it couldn't you?"

While I help Isaac get back to his feet, he says, "He's dying."

He looks over in our direction, "I am. I have been for a while now. Unfortunately, science doesn't have a cure for cancer yet. But, the supernatural does." His gaze hardens when he looks down on Derek.

"You monster," Chris finally speaks.

His father smiles evilly, "Not yet."

"What are you doing?" Allison questions.

He looks over and Jackson instantly squeezes her throat tighter.

Chris chokes out, "You'd kill her too?"

"When it comes to survival, I'd kill my own son!" He clenches his jaw, glaring at his child. He looks at Scott, "Scott…"

What the hell? Scott? Why… what's going on?

He glances at Derek, turns back to his human self, and looks around at the people around him. He then walks towards Derek, and grabs him on the back of his neck.

Derek coughs, "Don't. Scott, don't. He's only going to kill me right after. He'll be an alpha."

Gerard glances at both Scott and Derek, a satisfied expression planted on his face, "That's true, but I think he already knows that. Don't you Scott? He knows that the ultimate prize is Allison. Do this small task for me and they can be together. You are the only piece that doesn't fit Derek. And in case you haven't learned yet, there is just no competing with young love." After his little speech, he takes his jacket off and walks to Scott.

"Scott don't," Derek replies harshly.

"I'm sorry. But I have to," says Scott. He pulls Derek's head up to where Gerard can put his arm between the alpha's teeth.

I watch as Gerard gets bitten by Derek and watch as he stumbles back, knowing that he's going to turn into a werewolf. He holds his arm up for all of us to see and we watch as black blood starts to ooze from his wounds and nose. He glances down at his arm when he realizes that we're all staring at him.

"What is this? What did you do," he exclaims, glaring in Scott's direction.

We all glance at Scott and he looks down at Derek, "Everyone said that Gerard always had a plan." He looks over his shoulder to the old man, "I had a plan too."

Realization finally dawns on the grey haired man. He pulls out a medicine case and pours the contents into his hand. "No, no," he stutters. He reflects on how he got tricked. Gerard squeezes his hand, furiously snarls out, "Mountain Ash!" He falls to his knees, blood pouring from his eyes and more coming from his nose.

I gasp and Isaac pulls me closer. We all stare in shock.

Gerard looks up and starts convulsing before throwing up a huge amount of black blood. He then falls to the ground.

Derek stares up at Scott in wonder, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because you might be an alpha, but you're not mine," Scott replies back.

Movement from the side. We glance to see who it is – Gerard. He spits out more blood before shouting, "Kill… Kill them all!"

The grip is loosened on Allison's neck. Before anything can happen to her, she elbows Jackson in the face. He stumbles back and is ready to pounce, but something crashes behind us. We're dazed before we realize that it's Stiles and Lydia. Stiles' jeep lands right against Jackson, causing him to fall from the impact.

"Did I get him?" screams Stiles.

Scott smiles at his friend's actions. But it doesn't stay on his face much longer. Jackson hops onto the hood of the jeep and growls. Both Lydia and Stiles dash out of the jeep, screaming. While Stiles runs over to Scott, Lydia stands her ground.

"Jackson? Jackson!" She yells. Her ex's claw is ready to strike, but she holds up a key. He moves his head from side to side before taking the key from her delicate fingers. He stares at the key before he starts to change back into a human.

He glances up at her and steps away from her crying form.

Derek and Peter run towards Jackson and they both jab their claws into his body, removing them quickly. Jackson's eyes go wide and he falls, only to be caught by Lydia.

We all move back to give the two space. This is their moment.

Jackson stares into Lydia's eyes and stutters out, "Do you… do you still…?"

"I do," she shakes her head, "I do still love you. I do… I do still love you."

Jackson nods his head and falls onto her shoulder.

Her hands wrap around his head as she holds him against her body, crying. "I do, I do still love you," she gasps out while laying him gently down on the ground.

We watch as his face turns back to being normal. I lean against Isaac and cry silently because Lydia shouldn't have to go through this. No one should have to go through this – to have the love of their life die in their arms.

"Where's Gerard," Allison questions suddenly.

"He can't be far," replies her father.

Lydia stands up, wipes her tears, and turns around.

Scraping.

Isaac and I move forward, as does the rest of the group. Is that Jackson? Is he… is he alive?

Jackson, who was just recently 'dead', opens his eyes, stands, and growls loudly.

Lydia turns around, mouth agape. As Jackson turns back from werewolf form to human he trembles when he sees Lydia staring at him. She lunges into his arms, engulfing him in a tight embrace. He clasps onto her for dear life.

Scott looks behind him at his best friend, who seems to be crying, and raises his eyebrow. Before he can say anything Stiles says that he scratched his cheek and walks off.

I feel Isaac kiss the top of my head and I wrap my arms around his torso, breathing in his scent. I hear him whisper that he loves me; I smile and kiss his lips, "I love you too."

It's morning, a few days from that night.

Isaac, Derek and Peter walk to the front of the burnt house.

Peter sighs, "You haven't told him everything, have you?"

"What do you mean," the teen asks.

Peter leans against a tree, "Why do you think Derek was in such a hurry to build his pack? So eager to strengthen his power and number. There's a new alpha, people take notice."

"People like who?" Isaac points at something marked on the front door. "What is this? What does this mean?"

Derek walks forward, "It's their symbol and it means that they're coming."

Isaac asks, "Who?"

His alpha quickly speaks, "Alphas."

"More than one?"

Derek takes in a deep breath, "A pack of 'em."

"An alpha pack," Peter remarks. "And they're not coming. They're already here."

"Are you really going to Germany to visit some relatives?" my best friend exclaims.

Nodding, I reply, "Yeah. I mean, I'm happy we're going to go see them, but I haven't told Isaac yet. I don't want to leave him, Jules." I sit cross-legged on her bed.

She glances up from her magazine and says, "I know, but you guys love one another. I'm sure he'll understand. And plus, you guys have phones so you'll be able to text and talk to each other. Or write. You're going to text me when you get there, right? Oh, and pictures! Lots and lots of picture taking."

"Yeah, yeah. I know. You gave me your good camera Julie," I reply with a chuckle. "But in all seriousness, how am I going to tell Isaac that I'm going to Germany for the entire summer?"

Sighing she says, "Mel, just tell him already. I told you, he'll understand. Tell him that your parents already made the trip final – that you have to go whether you want to or not."

"I'm going to see him tonight. I guess I could tell him then. Better late than never… right?"

Isaac steps up to the front door of my house and rings the doorbell. My father opens up the door, guiding Isaac inside.

"How are you doing Isaac? I haven't seen you in a long time."

My boyfriend nods his head, "I'm doing great Mr. Daniels. And yes, it's been a while. Meladee told me that you and your wife were on your anniversary and then had to go on a business trip right after that. She was upset about it, but I took her mind off things."

My father's eyebrow pops up in question.

Isaac shakes his head, "I didn't… I didn't mean anything by that. I just… I didn't…"

"It's fine Isaac. I know what you meant," my father holds up his hand to stop the rambling boy.

Isaac blushes and turns around when he hears me coming downstairs. "Hi Meladee," he pipes up when he sees me heading down to the living room.

Smiling I reply, "Hey." I turn to my dad, "Are you giving him a hard time dad?"

"No…"

"Sure you aren't."

My mother comes to greet Isaac and tells us to be careful on our date. We both nod and head out the door to my car.

"So where to?" I ask excitedly.

He laughs, "I don't care. We could go to that Asian restaurant that you like."

I told him.

I hold my hands up, "Wait, you aren't mad at me for leaving?"

Isaac eats a spoonful of fried noodles before answering, "It's a vacation. It's not like you're leaving for good… right?" He looks up from his plate questioningly.

Shaking my head furiously I reply, "No. God no! I just thought that since it's going to be summer in two days, and me telling you that I'm leaving in those two days, that you'd be mad at me for the late heads up."

He smiles, "Well I have to tell you something too, and it's late as well."

Cocking my head to the side, I raise an eyebrow inquiringly before asking, "What did you have to tell me?"

"Derek… he wants me to help him and Peter in finding Boyd and Erica. He thinks that another group of werewolves have them hostage," he replies hesitantly.

Putting my fork down, I ask quietly, "What? Another group?"

He nods, "A pack of alphas."

"You'll be okay, won't you? I don't want anything to happen to you, Isaac."

His hand snakes its way over to mine and he rubs his thumb gently on top. "I'll be fine Meladee. I promise."

"You don't have to make any promises that I know you can't keep. If another group is here, them all being alphas as you say, then it won't be easy. Just try to be careful is all that I'm asking."

I squeeze his hand gently.

"I'll try my best."

Nodding I reply, "I know. I love you…"

He squeezes back, "I love you too."

The day of our departure and I'm a nervous wreck.

"Honey, you will be just fine. It's only for a few months," replies my mother.

"A few months away from Isaac," I grumble, pouting my lips.

Stiles, Scott, Julie and Isaac all laugh at my face. They said that they were going to see me off today. And I'm really grateful. My father comes over to me and tells us to hurry up with our 'goodbyes' because our plane will be leaving shortly.

He walks away and leaves me standing alone with my friends. Stiles and Scott tell me to have fun and to be careful. Jules hands me her $2000 camera in its case and says to take a butt load of pictures for her. I nod and tell her that I will. She also asks me to text/write to her when I get there. Nodding, I say that I will. The three of them all give me hugs and go wait outside, leaving Isaac and myself alone.

I shift from my left foot to my right and wait for him to say something.

Isaac coughs softly, "Well…be careful…and uh… text me when you get there."

Raising my eyebrow I smirk, "You nervous or something? You never act like this."

"Your dad is looking over here…I'm afraid that he'll kill me if I do anything," he admits.

Laughing, I throw my arms around his neck and give him a soft kiss to the lips. He groans softly before pulling away with a smile on his face. Smiling back, I whisper, "Be careful."

"I will. You too."

"Meladee, honey, our plane is boarding," my mother calls.

Biting my lip, I nod in her direction and let go of my boyfriend. I turn around to walk in the direction of my parents before Isaac grabs my arm and pulls me to him again. Gasping, I feel his lips on mine once more and pull away seconds later.

Isaac whispers, "I love you." He lets my arm go and he watches me turn around to walk to my mother and father.

As I walk away, I mumble 'I love you too' under my breath, leaving my satisfied, werewolf boyfriend.

This is going to be one long trip.

I think I kind of rushed the ending a little. And I'm too lazy to go back and spruce it up a bit. XP

I hope you guys liked this as much as I did. Stay tuned for my sequel to this story and another story that I'm writing as well. It's a Hemlock Groves story and I'm excited about it! :) Hopefully you guys will check it out as well.

Again, thank you for reading my story.
