Artemis kneeled and ran her fingers through a powdery substance on the floor.
"It isn't sulfur," She told Percy. "What could it be?"
Percy kneeled next to her and examined the powder, "Collect some in a bag, we'll examine it later. For now we should follow this path."
"I wouldn't do that," Ace said snapping a couple photos. "It could be a trap."
"It isn't like we have much of a choice," Lucifer said standing up after putting some golden blood in a bag. He dusted off his pants and took a lead.
"Then what do you suggest?" Ace asked crossing his arms.
"I'll go in first, if I don't return in five minutes assume I'm dead and get out of here." Lucifer offered, his voice was determined.
Ace took Lucifer's wrist and tightened his grip on the other boy. It was a sacrifice they had to make and Ace knew it. They couldn't walk away from such a huge lead without trying.
Lucifer cupped Ace's jaw and pecked his lips once. Ace loosened his grip and watched as his love walked into a different room.
"We should continue searching," Ace began only to be cut off by a blood curling scream, he looked at the doorway just in time to see Lucifer fall to the ground covered in blood. A masked woman stood over him with a katana in her hands. Her focus was on Lucifer.
Lucifer met Ace's eyes, the desperate plea to run. Ace stayed frozen as he watched the woman raise her weapon and plunge it into his lover's back. Lucifer's eyes became blank.
Percy and Artemis grabbed Ace and teleported them back to Abel.
Just one more man down.

Long white hair flowed elegantly behind pointed ears and graceful cheekbone. Bright unnatural blue eyes scanned the surroundings before settling on some bushes.
"Show yourself," A soft voice flowed beautifully out of rosy pink lips.
A young boy stumbled out of the bushes, wide unnaturally green eyes gazed at her.
The blue eyes softened and pale hands reached out for the boy to take.
"Sister," The boy's voice was scared, "They told me our Goddess would never come back."
"Mistress Celtic will return to us." The girl reassured. "She must."
"She wouldn't let the humans take us?" The boy asked.
"Don't worry Sora, you need wings to get here. The humans may have metal contraptions but they lack the ability of true flight." The girl smiled at the boy.
Sora frowned, "But Skylar, they got our mistress. Didn't they?"
Skylar bit her bottom lip. "It's time for dinner," She said sitting up and spreading magnificent blue wings.
"I think we should get help from the good humans. They are trying to stop the bad humans. Then we can get our Goddess back."
"What can we do that they can't?" Skylar asked, she didn't want to get in the way of the good humans.
Sora smiled and stretched green wings, "We can fly."

Hazel groaned and blinked her eyes open sleepily. She tried to stretch but her arms were trapped. She frowned when she noticed her legs were tied up as well.
"Hey! She's awake!"
Hazel's golden eyes flickered over to a pretty white haired woman and an equally pretty brunette. "Who are you?" She questioned.
"I'm Calypso and this is Celtic."
"The titan lady Percy met?" Hazel blushed when she realized what she said.
Calypso looked downed sadly, "I'm afraid so, is he okay?"
"He's a God now," Hazel managed to say. "Where are we?"
"Prison."

"Melody! Come, we must leave." Demetri told his sister. Russeues was next to him along with three guards.
"Yes brother," She took his hand and they disappeared.
The weather was hot and uncomfortable. A man dressed in a full black suit approached them, he offered them a smile and bowed, "Right this way."
They followed him to an open chasm. Two identical boys stood in the center of the room.
"Welcome to Hell," The boy on the right said in a monotone voice.
"What brings the Angel's here?" The boy on the left spoke this time. His eyes flirted over his guests, "And the purgatory boy is here. Say, where is your sister? She is my wife after all."
"I don't know," Russeues admitted. "Theophilia wasn't here when I returned."
The boy's face fell, "I see. Quite disappointing really." He turned his back and left the room.
"Don't mind Zaine, he just misses her is all." The remaining boy said. "Onto more business, I believe that is my fiancé you have there."
Melody ran up to the boy and jumped on him. Her young body aging rapidly until she was a sixteen year old girl. She placed a playful kiss on his cheek. "It's nice to see you again. He has been very demanding and five Angels died in the past month. With Heaven closed it's hard to judge anymore and no new souls are entering."
"It's the same down here. I just want this war to end. Heaven and Hell should never be shut down. With the underworld shut there will be nowhere for all the souls to go."
"We can't do anything or he will kill us all." Melody said sadly. "Raven, we can't do anything."
Russeues spoke up, "We could help the humans, I've been working with them over the past couple centuries."
"Is that where you've been all this time?" Raven asked. "How are the humans?"
"They're dying out." Russ said. "He's killing their Gods and slowly killing them."
"This is going to be a bloody war. I guess we should pick sides." Demetri said.
"Purgatory is siding with the Humans." Russ said quietly, "I don't want to be under his rule any longer."
"Me neither, Angels will side with Purgatory," Demetri declared.
"I guess there's no choice then," Raven said. He gave a small smile.
"Let's start a war."
