Chapter 23:
Percy ahead to make sure there was a clear path for his warriors. The Hunters and Abel's forces left early in the morning before the smaller kids had woken up. They didn't need the smaller kids sneaking off to battle.
"Clear!" Percy declared. Twenty warriors raced after Percy holding out their weapon.
The war had started violently. The two side faced each other in a large field where they would try to intimidate the other into surrendering.
The enemy was strong and managed to separate the entire army into four vulnerable groups. Percy had taken charge of the twenty warriors he saved. Of them only three were archers and the rest were swordsmen.
Percy closed his eyes and concentrated, "Everyone! Climb a tree!" He hissed. The warriors nodded obediently and followed instructions.
A long, ugly beast appeared. It had a long, furry snout and four graceful long hairy legs.
"Stay quiet, don't attack!" Percy whispered.
The creature growled and sniffed the air. Everyone held their breath as it's face turned towards them. The creature paused before lunging towards them. "Everyone, get higher!" Percy commanded.
Blake hesitated and threw his sword at the beast. It bounced harmlessly off it's fur. Blake froze as the beast turned towards him and lunged, Blake cried as it bit his leg hard.
Percy ran to his hunter and stabbed at the beast until it detached itself from Blake's leg. The creature growled and started to attack again but stopped when a loud whistle blew through the air.
Percy frowned as he removed Blake's pants. His left leg was slowly turning black and going by Blake's screams, it hurt; a lot.
"We need to amputate it," Percy mumbled sadly. He turned towards Dante, "You think you can do it quickly?" He asked.
Dante gulped and nodded. He rushed to Blake's side and started to drag him to a safer area.
Percy glared as the beasts master appeared. A beautiful woman with size D breasts walked into the scene. She had a tiny waist and long blond hair and two long, and deadly looking blades on her hips. But what caught Percy off guard were the wings on her back. Not like the pretty white ones Demetri has or the tattered black ones Raven had or the black ones Russ had.
No, hers weren't like any of those. She had two ugly brown pillow looking wings. They were fat and square. Not elegant at all.
"Wingless ones?" The girl questioned, a sneer on her face.
Faith growled something in a different language and drew her weapon. She attacked the girl fiercely. Her swift graceful movements surprising the enemy.
She managed to land a fatal blow to the girls chest. The girl growled and stabbed Faith in the back before removing the blade in her bosom.
Blue blood flowed from her wound. "I'm not like you!" She spat, "We may take your form but we aren't you. I don't have a heart. I have no need for one." Her wound slowly began healing like Percy's does when he's in water.
As if to prove her point she stabbed Faith three more times. Faith stopped moving and stared blankly at the heavens. Her eyes dulled over and her pretty red lips open mid scream.
"We can't win," Thalia whispered backing away slowly.
"Any last words?" Jason joked.
Thalia kissed Nico on the lips fully before pulling away. Both blushing fiercely.
Reyna kissed Jason on the lips in a similar fashion. She was 27 while Jason still didn't look a day over 16.
Nico turned towards Jason and kissed him.
Percy raised his eyebrow, "Really?"
"I love you Nico!" Thalia confessed.
"I love you Jason!" Reyna blushed.
"You do know we're dating, right?" Jason asked. "Though, if we do survive this will be really awkward."
Percy frowned and crossed his arms, "Have you now? Why didn't I know of this?"
Nico and Jason blushed and looked away.
The girl looked annoyed, "If you are done, I'm going to kill you now."
"We go down fighting!" Percy declared earning loud cheers.
The beast was about to lunge again but was stopped. A beautiful young girl and a small boy appeared and waved the humans back.
The boy spread beautiful leaf shaped wings and flew at the beast. The girl did the same with the enemy girl.
Percy stared at the two beautiful creatures battle powerfully and clash with intense emotion.
The enemy growls and retreats.
"Who are you?" Percy demanded.
"My name is Skylar and this is Sora. We're pixies." The girl said. She spun in a circle and shrunk until she was a foot tall. Her brother did the same. The two flew over to Percy and landed on his shoulder.
"We want to rescue our Goddess. Don't think we're helping you humans," Sora said.

There you go! The start of the war. Please review, and yes I am going to kill off people because that is how war is. Faith IS dead and she isn't coming back. Poor Abel and Cain. Blake is one of Percy's hunter incase you forgot.
Anyway, right now everyone is free game. You want someone to live or die review.
I'll let you choose: I need to kill someone and if I don't, well lets say I have no problems killing off Hinata, Acai, Dante, Claudia, and Haru.
