As Jason had seen the mutants, he had to be careful so he wouldn't get caught.
"Jason, come on we need to run some tests on you to see what had happened." Mothra was looking for Jason. "Hey Rodan, have you seen Jason?"
"No I haven't." Rodan was just as curious as Mothra was. "I thought he was with you."
They didn't like the thought of Jason being gone like this. They had to look for him.
Back to Jason...
He followed Destroyah and Biollante back to the mutant base to see what they were planning.
"I told you he wouldn't follow us." Biollante was very hesitant about this plan. "He would have shown himself if he had followed us."
Jason froze where he was. What did Biollante mean by "he would have followed us"? Jason had to stay hidden behind the rock he had found.
"He has followed us." Destroyah was more then happy to have Krystalak and Obsidius go and find him. "In fact, he doesn't even know I know."
That was it. Jason had to leave, but he was to late. They had found him.
"DIE SCUM!" Krystalak was more then happy to attack Jason.
"Burn puny human." Obsidius was sending lava from every direction.
Jason couldn't get out. A crystal had cut him in the right arm and the blood was coming out to much. The lava was to widespread for him to jump in his state. It looked hopeless.
Back at the GDF Base...
Mothra was real worried about Jason, due to the fact that none of them could find him.
"Mothra." Battra ran in with a scared look on his face. "We found where Jason is."
"Really." Mothra's face lit up. "Where is he?"
"Come see our new video message." Her smile disappeared. "You won't like this."
They were both running to the message room when Rodan saw them.
"What's wrong?"
"We found Jason." Battra was hesitating in getting there. "It's a video message."
"We'll let's go see it."
As the three of them walked in, Captain Gordon was there to greet them.
"It's from the Mutants."
Mothra was in shock.
"Here it goes."
"Hello defenders." Destroyah was the first to talk.
"We have something of yours, and we want to get rid of it." Biollante was laughing as she spoke.
They spun a chair they had around and in it was Jason, tied up.
"If you want your precious little fighter to live, then come find us." Destroyah was smiling at the thought of Jason dying.
End Message...
"We have to go find him." Mothra was on the verge of tears. "They've hurt him."
"We don't know where they are." Rodan was afraid as well. "We don't..."
"We know how to find them." Anguirus was fast to think. "Battra, aren't you still linked to them."
"Yes, so?" Battra was clueless.
"You can track them."
Everyone just gave Battra a look that called him stupid.
All Mothra could think about was getting Jason home safe and sound.
Back at the Mutant base...
"You do know what happens when they get here." Biollante kept on taunting him. "They will lose all trust in you. You'll have no more friends."
Jason couldn't deny the truth, he went against orders, and probably made Mothra worry about him. He would be lucky if they ever spoke to him again.
He would also be lucky if he could eat again.
"Eat this." Obsidius was offering Jason some food. "It helps hunger."
"Thank you." Jason was trying to wiggle a arm out so he could get the food.
"What're you doing, stupid." Krystalak hit his brother. "Let him starve."
"So mean even to your own brother." Mothra finally showed up.
"MOTHRA, LOOK OUT." It was to late, Biollante hit her pretty hard. "no."
That was the breaking point for Jason. He easily broke the hold Biollante's rope had on him.
"NO ONE HURTS HER!" He was pissed. "NOW YOU'LL ALL DIE!"
"You don't want to do that." Destroyah was still level headed.
"Why not."
"Because, she'll die." He held her by her neck like she was a stuffed doll.
That snapped Jason back to reality.
"Don't hurt her." Jason was afraid.
"Biollante, wake her up." Destroyah was getting tired of all this.
"With pleasure." She had her back hand smack Mothra real hard. "WAKE UP!"
"ugh." Mothra looked at Jason. "Why're you here?"
"Yes Jason." Destroyah was smiling. "Tell us ALL why you're here."
"I'm here..." He had to stop the tears from coming. "I'm here because I thought that they would lead me to Space Godzilla."
Mothra was just speechless. He stomped on their trust and threw it away.
"Jason, who are you?" She stood up in her anger. "Excuse us, we need to leave."
As Mothra left, Jason went to get Obsidius, but Krystalak was there to try and stop him.
"What are you..."
"Me go with human." Obsidius wanted to go with Jason. "He nice."
Jason was holding it all back and Mothra wouldn't turn around nor stop.
"C'mon Obsidius." Jason grabbed his wrist. "Let's go."
To Jason, this was one hell of a day. He had a new friend, and lost a old one. But the day that Mothra and Jason would see eye to eye again was the day that would define Jason for the rest of his life.
