Harry was ecstatic to see Teddy after so long. He picked Teddy up from the chair, not caring that the applesauce was getting on his shirt. He jumped him up and down a bit, saying, "Who's my little hero? Who is it? Who is it? You are, Teddy boy! How are you, you cute kid? Giving trouble to Nana yet? Of course not, because you're the most precious child in this world!"
He felt Andromeda look at him and looked in her direction to see her giving him a proud look. She realized she was caught and said, "It's nothing…just, it's been almost three months since you met him and he still takes to you immediately."
Harry immediately cooed, "Because he's a clever boy, isn't he?" He then looked at Tonks' mother and told her, "I think it's in his genes. Nymph and I became really close friends almost instantly, despite the somewhat big age gap between us."
He looked at her get a little teary and immediately announced, "So, I have a brilliant godfather-godson day planned!"
Andromeda wiped her tears and gave Teddy a kiss on the cheek as she said, "I'll make dinner tonight? Seven?"
Harry smiled softly at her. "No, I'll make dinner. It'll be ready by seven, I promise. And don't worry, Teddy's in good hands."
She grinned, and Harry realized where Tonks' mischievous smile came from as she said, "Oh, I'm not worrying. Don't get too caught up in his cuteness. He knows it and takes advantage of it."
Harry wondered what she meant.

Harry had looked at various parenting books, websites and the like to see what was healthy for Teddy, what games were appropriate and so on. It was like he was becoming a father himself, especially due to the fact that he wanted Teddy to have a person he could look up to.
He had never thought about having a family while in school, especially after his fourth year, because Voldemort was always hunting down people, and he didn't want his husband, or Merlin forbid, his children to go through the same thing as his parents. However, after the war, taking care of Teddy made him realize, that he might just adopt a kid someday, maybe a kid who had been treated badly, like he had been in his childhood.
He shook his head, trying to get rid of the negative memories, and instead looked at Teddy. He then picked him up again and took him to the guest bedroom, also known as his bedroom when he came to stay.
Harry got Teddy to be almost horizontal, making aeroplane noises as he carried him to the middle of the bed and put him down with a little force, so as to make him bounce on the bed.
Teddy started giggling, and Harry did it again. He knew he looked like a weirdo, and after a while would have to stop it, but it had been so long since he had heard the kid laugh, and it just warmed his heart.
He put on the laptop and waited for the screen to input his password patiently. He knew technically magic did not allow electrical devices to work in the area. However, Andromeda lived in a remote area and didn't use a lot of magic. Also, since his laptop was on flight mode, he could use it till the battery ran out.
He logged in, and pulled Teddy onto his lap. His laptop wallpaper was a picture of him hugging Kurt from behind the chair at Coffee-holics. It was a candid, for Kurt at least, and both of them looked crazily happy. As if he could feel the happiness, Teddy clapped his hands and laughed. His hair then changed to a brown coif of hair, a fairer face than usual, and beautiful blue-green eyes. Harry immediately took a picture of the two of them, wanting to show it to Kurt if and when he told Kurt about the Wizarding World.

Around noon, he stopped reading the storybook and went to the kitchen, and got out a box of macaroni. He knew he had hit the jackpot when Teddy screamed in joy, "Maccy, maccy!"
Harry knew he regressed to baby-talk around Teddy, but he couldn't help it. The kid was just too cute. He laughed at his godson as he said, "Yep, your uncle's famous Mac and Cheese, with extra cheese because I'm great like that."
He sat Teddy on top of the counter and put a light Sticking Charm so he wouldn't fall down accidentally. He had learnt that the hard way when he heard Teddy babbling continuously one day, and ended up using his Quidditch skills to pick Teddy before he fell down.
Harry put on the radio. He had missed Celestina Warbeck, he mused, as he sang along with her on the radio. Teddy made noises, and he looked back at him only to see him shaking from side to side. He laughed as he realized that was Teddy imitating his moves.
He fed mashed mac and cheese to Teddy, and then finished reading the book. Around two thirty, Harry was fast asleep with Teddy on his chest, a blanket fort around them.

During the night, whilst chatting with Andromeda and Percy over dinner, Harry thought out loud, "I'm thinking maybe I should spend some more time with Teddy. Can I take off tomorrow as well? Take Teddy shopping, maybe some sight-seeing."
Andromeda had a thoughtful look and Harry brought out his version of the puppy-dog eyes. Teddy looked at his godfather's face and imitated the same, down to the scar on the right side of his forehead.
She immediately caved in, and even Percy smiled a bit at the duo, as he said, "Then you'll have to go out for a publicity lunch with Draco and Narcissa again on Saturday, and maybe a speech in the Ministry of Magic on Sunday?"
Harry concluded, "Deal." He didn't mind talking to the Malfoys and anything was okay if it meant he and Teddy could spend some more time together.

End of Chapter 40! Whoosh! Just 10 more to the half-century.
Next week, we'll have Harry skyping with Kurt. We'll have Finn make a new friend who might not like Kurt that much. Karofsky somehow gets his just desserts.
Let me know what you thought of it!
