Okay, time jump. Last week ended on 25 March, 2011. It's 13 April now. So yeah, they miss each other a lot.

Harry felt satisfied as he walked back into his house. England would always be home to him, but there was something about living independently in his own house that he loved. He walked up to the table, where he saw a note.

Hey Harry, I got a service to clean up your apartment because I don't know how late you'd be, but I didn't want you to come back to a dirty house. Guess there are advantages to being given the house key.

Kurt xoxo

Harry smiled widely as he realized there were no cobwebs anywhere. Whoever Kurt had employed had done a really good job. His happiness reduced slightly as he remembered what Kingsley had told him.

~!~!~!

See, Harry, technically you are not allowed to tell him unless he's your spouse, as I told you earlier. However, I spoke about it, not mentioning your name of course, and they said you would have to inform us if he doesn't take the news in a good way so we can erase his memory without damaging it. I know you can perform the charm proficiently, but using it on Muggles is a bit more complicated.

Harry didn't want to put Kurt through the Memory Charm, and he also knew Kurt wouldn't go babbling his secret to everyone. But he needed one last confirmation.

Which is why he didn't call Kurt as promised, but walked to Artie's house. He knocked on the door twice, and the door was answered by Artie's mom, who gave him a polite smile.

He said, "My name's Harry. I'm Kurt's boyfriend?"

She smiled in a friendly manner as she said, "Yes, Artie has mentioned you. Sit here, he'll be here in a moment."

Harry felt awkward in a stranger's home, but he needed some reassurance, and seeing how Artie was the only one with magical and Kurt connections, he was the only option.

He didn't even realize he was still wearing the tie, much less twisting it, when Artie rolled in. Artie snickered. "Whatever did that tie do to you?"

Harry also laughed a bit. "It flirted with some girl's bowtie, so it had to be punished."

Artie laughed again, then said, "Should we talk here, or outside? My mom will keep making excuses to come in if we stay here."

His mom immediately poked her head in. "Don't tattle about your parents to guests."

Artie pointed, "See?"

She walked into the room and slapped his head. "Are you sure you're my son?"

Harry smiled a bit at the exchange, but then decided to walk outside with Artie. He slowed his pace so they could talk and Artie's hands wouldn't hurt moving the wheels.

He suddenly stopped. "I spoke to one of my friends in the Ministry about revealing the magic part to Kurt."

Artie clapped. "I'm so happy for you, bro. Kurt does deserve to know the truth."

Harry scratched his head, not caring about the mess it made. "But will he freak out?"

Artie said, "Typical Kurt Hummel behavior reactions mean that he will freak out first, then think about it rationally."

Harry was frustrated. "This is what I'm worried about. On one hand, he shouldn't tell it to anyone else. On the other hand, he might be upset that I never mentioned it to him."

Artie patted his knee. "All you can do is try. He loves you, Harry. I'm pretty sure some magic won't stop that."

Three hours later,

Harry had changed into a suit and tie, having texted Kurt to dress up nicely. He knew not saying anything more would drive him crazy.

He took a cab to Kurt's house, vowing to learn how to drive the car. He walked up to the door and reached out to knock, but the door was opened by Finn, who gave him a large smile.

"You gave me so much entertainment for the evening! I've never seen Kurt so bothered, and he once dressed up in a skirt and pants in our Junior Year."

Harry was curious, but didn't ask Finn for details. He walked in to see Burt in the living room, waving. Burt told him, "Come sit here. The girls are with Kurt and he'll never forgive you if you ruin his entrance."

Harry almost whined, "But I missed him."

Burt gave him a stern look, and he sat down immediately. However, Finn looked excited as he said, "I'm gonna tell Kurt you said that. He would be so happy!"

Harry tried to catch Finn, but he was too fast. He ended up watching Deadliest Catch till he heard a sound behind him. He turned around, and it was like a romantic movie, when your loved one walked down the staircase and you realized how perfect they were, and how much you loved them. Harry then decided he would tell Kurt that he loved him and that he was a Wizard that night.

Kurt immediately ran towards Harry, who caught him mid-run and hugged him as tightly as possible. He almost lost track of time, but heard a cough. He looked up to find a smirking Santana and a smiling Brittany. Before he could say hello to them, Brittany walked towards him, pulled him to a corner, and whispered, "I know you love him. And I have connections with people in the sewers. If you hurt him, I'll set them on you."

Harry held her hand and said, "I promise you I'll intentionally never hurt him. Can I take him out now?"

She nodded and actually took his hand and put it in Kurt's. They both smiled, and then left the house. Over dinner, they did small talk, exchanged pleasantries and asked about their time while the other was a whole continent away. Harry had decided to tell him in his house, so that Kurt would be able to leave if he wanted to. He hated that he had to make such strategic decisions, but he had to keep it in mind.

He asked Kurt, "I have a pint of chocolate chip dough ice cream in my freezer. Want to help finish it?"

Kurt excitedly nodded as Harry gave the money for the dinner and they drove to Harry's place. As they walked in, Harry said, "Thanks for getting the apartment cleaned up. I never thought about that while I left."

Kurt just gave Harry a small kiss and then walked to the freezer. He got out the pint and two spoons for them. He asked, "Can I borrow some sweatpants? These jeans, though fashionable, are too tight for ice cream binging."

Harry said, "Sure, but I'll give you a bag. Put your jeans in your car so you won't forget them."

Kurt laughed. "I can always come get them later."

Harry just smiled as Kurt went about his business. He got out the bottle of Ogden's Old Firewhisky left in the freezer and left it out. It would prove his point about magic, seeing how it had an animated dragon blowing flames on its label. Kurt then walked down and they sat on the couch, cuddling against each other.

Harry felt happy as they fed each other ice cream. He then decided to start, "Kurt, I have two things to tell you. I'm hoping none of them would make you run away."

"Please don't tell me you cheated on me when you were with your friends."

Harry was flabbergasted. "Of course not. Okay, first thing, you don't have to say it back, but I can't stop myself from saying it anyway. I love you, Kurt Hummel, and I think I have since there was no place at a café and you let me sit at your table."

Kurt had tears in his eyes. "Oh Harry, I love you too. I wanted to say it when we were on Skype, but thought a face-to-face statement would be better for celebration." He then put the pint of ice cream down, and brought his face closer to Harry's.

Harry didn't lean in and continued, "I haven't told you the second thing yet. Once I say it, you can think over it, and talk about it later. But I need your promise that you won't tell anyone about it."

Kurt looked worried. "Please tell me already."

Harry took a deep breath, then said, "Kurt, magic is real. I am a wizard."

He then took his wand out from the holster in his right sleeve and pointed it towards Kurt, handle side.

Kurt looked more curious then upset. "This could just be a prop. Is this a joke? It's funny, sort of. The wand looks really authentic."

Harry wasn't sure which way Kurt would go, but incredulity wasn't one of it. He immediately walked into the kitchen and got out the bottle. He showed it to Kurt, "See the dragon?"

Kurt said, "It's a nice dragon. But the joke is over, Harry. It's not funny anymore."

Harry immediately took his wand back and said, "Wingardium Leviosa!"

The table in front of him flew up about a foot. Kurt looked at it with surprise, which turned into fear as he stood up. "I have to leave."

Harry knew this was going to happen. Kurt then said, "I still love you. I need to think about this though."

Harry nodded. "I hate to say this, but please don't…"

Kurt said, "…tell anyone. I got it."

The only sound Harry heard was the closing of Kurt's car door as he drove out of his house.

And little angst! I won't prolong it though, I promise. You get to see Kurt's reaction next week!

Tell me what you think!
