It was a pretty awing ride to school after the bus driver left your neighborhood with equius just getting there as it left. Just remembering seeing him make that face that litrally said 'fuck' was to funny and you laughed at it with karkitty(karkat) saying 'poor guy'. After that gamzee and karkat bonded enough where you started to ship them in one of the pale quadrants you came up for your 'shipping game'. Before arriving though the bus had picked up dave strider (the ironic douchebag), aradia megido who asked where sweaty butt was which you replied with 'he missed the bus'. Eridan ampora, Feferi peixes, and Sollux captor who all lived in the same with the famous erisol boyfriends hate-friends bicking the whole way but you saw the how sollux would try to touch the royal frick where ever he could. You always shipped them from the start in maybe the black quadrant (Kismesiss) or red one (Matesprits) but it was nice how aradia,dave,or feferi would casually something like 'you two fight like your a married couple' and you agreed completely.
And when the bus got to school the rest of the group was there including equius who was pulled away from glaring at karkat by aradia into the school. Which you followed with karkat and gamzee till the cutie couple went a sparate way with gamzee who went to find tavros. And that is when you were left with karkat... Frick..
"Hey Leijon-" You were slightly confused by him calling you by your last name and interupted him to correct him. "Meeeeew can call me nepeta!" You said with a smile. He looked from left to right not turning his head at all and you realized he just rolled his eyes at you. Cute. "Well NEP-ETA. Could you not use puns around me I feel like it's fucking stupid that you'd even use CAT PUNS but whatever-" And the new boy started rambling, the whole time you just stood there staring at how he never even looked at you since he was about inch (like barely) taller then you.
That's when you started to chuckle at his rambling and he huffed then glared at down at you which made you snort and he kept telling you to 'stop' angryly. When you finally stopped he was about to walk away from you "I'll just find my classes on my own Fuck y-" "What? Oh what classes do mew have?" You asked, stopping him before he said fuck-whatever. He stopped looked at you "Cat-puns." He commented before shuffling through his backpack and giving you a pink slip, which you read and then smiled up at him. "We have all the same classes, except during P.E that's when I take chorus, but that's 3rd period and it'd just be outside the lunch room." You and him then started chatting about random things till the bang rang and he followed you to first period.
The day went along pretty well and you did make sure the new kid made it to P.E and met him inside the lunchroom. He'd somehow already made friends with John egbert and Dave in about the one hour they had together, Karkat met kanaya and rose (cute girlies in a relationship), vriska who'd made a move on him which he didn't take liking to and flipped her off. And basically the rest of the group, but during history the teacher actaully paired aradia,karkat, and you all up which you thought 'first day and you already have homework. That's highschool I guess.'.
You all planned to met up through the next two weeks the first aradia for the three more days of the week, at your's for the first half of the second week then karkat's if you all still didn't finish it. Which you all did but not before learning that aradia's older sister (Damara megido) brought home both girls and boys to her house and leading them to another room to what you imaged for sex. Karkat learned (aradia already knew) that your older sister was deaf , when he asked her a question and she asked him to look and him when she talked or she won't be able to understand it and explaining how she lip read. And seeing that karkat's brother (Kankri vantas) and eridan's (cronus ampora) brother started seeing eachother which you started to throughly ship and support.
You all got a A- which karkat complained that it should of been a A+ since you all worked on it so hard and that it wasn't fair so on and so on.
After about two months of karkat becoming part of your group of friends you realized that shit! - you have a crush on this guy.
