Chapter Nine: Belief

Jack landed down softly as snow started to fall, he saw Jamie in his Mothers arms, Sophie standing next to them, each looking down at Burgess, the town was in ruins, every inch of the town seemed to be on fire.

"We'll Manage" Mrs. Bennett told her children, "We'll survive"

"But we lost everything in the fire" Sophie frowned looking down at everything on fire beneath her,

"Its not bad, we can rebuild" Mrs. Bennett smiled again, in a flash of light Manny appeared next to the family,

"Greetings Bennett Family" Manny smiled to them and they turned to face him,

"Who are you?" Sophie asked,

"Me?" Manny asked almost in surprise, "My name is Manny, but many know me as, The Man-In-The-Moon"

"The-Man-In-The-Moon?" Mrs. Bennett asked, "You must be mad"

"Not quite yet" Manny replied, "But down to business, I have a few friends that you can stay with until more permanent residence can be found"

"Who?" Jamie asked,

"North, Tooth, Sandy and Bunny" Manny replied,

"The Guardians from my imagination?" Sophie asked,

"Not imagination, from reality, all you need to do is… believe!" Manny smiled and the moment Sophie turned around, blinking several times,

"Jack?" Sophie asked looking at the immortal teen.

"Hey squirt" Jack smiled looking over at Sophie,

"Sophie… who are you talking to?" Mrs. Bennett asked,

"Jack Frost" Jamie smiled, looking back at his mother,

"Impossible!" Mrs. Bennett frowned,

"Only because you believe it to be so!" Manny smiled,

"Oh fine, say Jack Frost does exist…. Where is the proof, if he is here…. Have him… freeze a tree!" Mrs. Bennett smiled, confidenet that it wouldn't happen, Jack sent an unimpressed look at both Jamie and Sophie, before flicking his wrist and frosting a tree nearby.

"He's real!" Mrs. Bennett collapsed backwards, now seeing the Immortal teen before her,

"Hello Mrs. Bennett, My Names Jack" Jack smiled offering his hand to help her up.

After a minute of staring at each other, a loud thump distracted Jack, Jamie and Sophie as they looked over seeing North, Bunny, Tooth, Sandy and Pitch nearby, Pitch just standing up, Jack guessed North or Bunny had thumped him into a tree for some reason.

"Hello guys!" Jamie and Sophie called rushing over, leaving Mrs. Bennett alone with Jack and Manny.

"Joyce Bennett, you remember the truths of your childhood, let those truths flow back to you" Manny told her,

"What truths are those?" Joyce asked.

"the Truth's you knew as a child, that it was Santa who brought you presents at Christmas, the Easter Bunny hid eggs on Easter, The Tooth Fairy collecting teeth, The Bogeyman giving you nightmares, The Sandman Bringing good dreams, Jack Frost summoning Winter magic among many others" Manny smiled,

Joyce looked around noticing the Guardian's standing talking with Jamie and Sophie, she leaned against a tree and breathed heavily,

"It's a lot to take in, isn't it?" Jack asked from above, she looked up to see him sitting in the tree,

"You could say that" Joyce nodded then remembered something, "When my children were young, they always said they had a secret Guardian watching over them… that wouldn't happen to be…."

"Me?" Jack asked, "I did spend a good few years making sure that Jamie and Sophie were safe, and when I couldn't do it, I had some allies to do it"

"How Many more spirits are there?" Joyce asked,

"Hmm?" Jack asked, "Thousands I reckon…. I've met around 800"

"Really?" Joyce asked,

"Yeah, a fair few are in Burgess right now, April Showers, Mother Nature, Father Time, Galactica, Cupid, Reece Summers, Holly Autumns, Rose Springs" Jack counted them off on his hands, "Plus many others"

"So what do you all do?" Joyce asked,

"Many of us focus on the tasks we find, I used to just spread Winter until I became a Guardian, then I started to protect the Children of the World" Jack told her, "Some just hang around and watch over the world"

Joyce smiled, she found it easy talking to Jack, then he turned his head and looked over at a tree with some distaste, "Stay here a second"

Jack jumped up, using the wind to help him float over to a tree, where he sighed, summoning some lighting and blasting a figure from behind the tree,

"Reece, what were you doing?" Jack asked, leaning on his staff,

"Waiting to talk to you" Reece frowned,

"What for?" Jack questioned, tilting his head slightly,

"The Winter Palace was destroyed when you fell into the coma right?" Holly asked,

"Well… we thought that we'd help… you know" Rose smiled,

"Help rebuild it!" Reece smiled,

"How many times in the last 300 Years has something we've worked as a quartet ever actually been finished?" Jack asked,

"Well… first time for everything!" Rose smirked,

"Fine, Its gunna take ages though,

"We've already asked the Sheppard's to watch over the seasons for a while, we even found Wynter, he wasn't happy but he agreed" Holly told him,

"I've alerted Natura, go on Jack, on and you may want to build a guest area" Manny smiled,

"I'll just say goodbye to Jamie, then we'll head off" Jack smiled,

"The four winds shall be united for the first time ever and we shall now not work as four separate groups, but be untied in our alligence, the seasons have untied, and not even Manny himself could stop us" Reece smiled as Jack wandered over to Jamie, telling him where he was going, and how long it would take.

"And so begins a new era, the Era of seasonal peace" Rose sighed, "and long may it last!"

And done!

Now we have the pleasantries out of the way, I have a more sensitive note,

Asking me to update or reviewing through messages…. THIS WILL ONLY DELAY SAID CHAPTER FURTHER! SO DON'T DO IT…. Unless… well those awesome people who review EVERYTHING!
